Ian Rolland |
Mr. Ian M. Rolland is no longer an Independent Chairman of the Board of NiSource Inc., effective May 14, 2013. Prior to his retirement in 1998, Mr. Rolland served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lincoln National Corporation, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, a provider of financial products and services. Mr. Rolland is on the board of advisors of CID Partners. Mr. Rolland’s 21 years of experience as Chief Executive Officer of a diversified financial services company, together with his past service on other boards of directors, including a financial institution, a petroleum equipment company and a national corporate child care solution provider, provide him with a deep understanding of the challenges facing a corporation and particularly those involving finances and financial reporting. |

Prior to becoming president of AEP Ohio, Hamrock was senior vice president and chief information officer in AEP's Shared Services organization from 2003-2007, and from 2002 to 2003 was senior vice president - General Services. He received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1985 from Youngstown State University in Ohio and a master's degree in business administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, where he was a Sloan fellow. He is a registered professional engineer in Ohio. |
