Laurence Downes

Mr. Laurence M. Downes is Non Independent Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of New Jersey Resources Corp. Mr. Downes has been Chairman of the Board of the Company since September 1996 and President and Chief Executive Officer since July 1995; Director, Questar Corporation, a public integrated natural gas company; Director, Interstate Natural Gas Association of America; Director and past Chairman, American Gas Association; Trustee, American Gas Foundation; Member, Board of Directors of New Jersey Economic Development Authority; Member, Board of Trustees, Drumthwacket Foundation; Chairman of Finance Council, Catholic Diocese of Trenton.

Glenn Lockwood
