Biographies

Name Description

Philip Hughes

Mr. Philip G. Hughes is Independent Chairman of the Board of NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc effective October 1, 2009. Mr. Hughes has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of five energy companies across Canada. Most recently Mr. Hughes was a senior executive with the Fortis Inc. group of companies and led the operations as President and CEO of several Fortis Inc. subsidiaries including FortisAlberta Inc., Newfoundland Power Inc., Maritime Electric Company and FortisBC. In September 2012 Mr. Hughes was appointed to the board of WCB Alberta. Mr. Hughes is also a past Officer of the World Energy Council, former Chair of the Canadian Electrical Association, and former Chair of the Energy Council of Canada. Mr. Hughes was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal. He is a Chartered Accountant (Alberta, England and Wales) with 26 years of diverse experience in the Canadian energy business. He graduated from University of Lancaster, England in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts Honours, Economics degree.

Michael O'Connor

Mr. Michael J. O'Connor is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Naikun Wind Energy Group Inc., with effect from June 15, 2010. He was Senior Vice President, President of Naikun Wind Generating Inc. He joins NaiKun as head of the company's generation subsidiary, NaiKun Wind Generation Inc. Previously, he was Project Director for Vancouver's Canada Line Rapid Transit Project with SNC-Lavalin where he was responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of the $1.7-billion transit project before the 2010 Winter Olympics. He also served as President and CEO of BC Transit. Prior to his work with SNC-Lavalin, he owned and operated Clearwater Technologies Inc., a developer and manufacturer of water and wastewater plant and distribution systems. Clearwater Technologies was later purchased by Terasen Utility Service s, where Mr. O'Connor served as Vice-President, Operations and Manufacturing. Throughout his career, Mr. O'Connor has delivered complex, ground-breaking projects within tight timeframes and on budget.

Arthur Willms

Mr. Arthur H. Willms has been appointed as Director NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc. Mr. Willms joined Westcoast Energy in 1971 and in 1991 he was named President and Chief Operating Officer and held this position until his retirement in 1999. In 2001 Mr. Willms was appointed to the board of directors of the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. In addition, Mr. Willms has held numerous other directorships including Pacific Northern Gas Ltd., Union Gas Ltd., Crestar Energy Inc., Gulf Canada Resources Ltd., Pristine Power Inc., Columbia Power Inc. and Angiotech Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Michael Burns

Mr. Michael C. Burns serves as Independent Director of NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Naikun Wind Energy Group. Michael Burns joined NaiKun in 2001. Previously, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at BC Gas. As President of the BC Gas subsidiary, Inland Pacific Enterprises, he directed the company's independent power activities. Mr. Burns founded and led an integrated public affairs, advertising and strategic consulting firm serving public and private enterprises. In his 20-year career with IBM, he held senior positions in Canada and abroad, and finished as Vice President. Mr. Burns has corporate and public-sector board and governance experience and has served on a number of corporate, community and association boards in Canada.

Joseph Houssian

Mr. Joseph S. Houssian is Independent Director of Naikun Wind Energy Group Inc. Mr. Houssian has extensive experience in business development, growth, and operations. Mr. Houssian founded Intrawest Corporation (“Intrawest”), a global developer and operator of luxury mountain, golf, and beach resorts. Intrawest's operations and ancillary businesses included Abercombie & Kent, which operates in 100 countries. When sold in 2006, Intrawest employed 25,000 people with annual revenues over $1.5 billion. Currently, Mr. Houssian is Chairman and founder of Intracorp Development, an urban real estate development company and Elemental Energy Inc., a renewable energy development and operating company. He has also served on the boards of Versacold Corporation and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp.

David Rehn

Mr. David Rehn is Independent Director of NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc. Mr. Rehn is Executive Vice President, Generation, Information Technology and Supply Chain with ENMAX Corporation (“ENMAX”), where he is responsible for the negotiation, construction, and operation of ENMAX’s power generation facilities and management of the Information Technology infrastructure. Prior to joining ENMAX, Mr. Rehn held key positions with Constellation Energy Group Inc. and Rovsing Dynamics A/S. He also served with Duke Energy Corporation for 25 years in a variety of positions, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Duke Energy Power Services North America.

Graham Wilson

Mr. Graham M. Wilson is Independent Director of Naikun Wind Energy Group Inc. Mr. Wilson has extensive experience in British Columbia’s energy sector having served from 1988 to 2002 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Westcoast Energy Inc. and concurrently as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Services Division for Westcoast Energy Inc. from 2000 - 2002. Previously Mr. Wilson served for five years as Vice President, Finance and Administration for Petro-Canada Inc. and prior to that was Vice President of Finance for MacMillan Bloedel Ltd. Currently, Mr. Wilson serves as President of Grawil Consultants Inc. As well, he is a director of British Columbia Ferry Services Inc., Itron Inc. and Hardwoods Distribution Inc.
