Name Description

Paul Parisotto

Mr. Paul A. Parisotto is the Chairman of the Board of Noront Resources Ltd. Mr. Parisotto is the President and CEO of Chantrell Ventures Corporation and President of Coniston Investment Corp., a private company which provides management services to the resource sector. From February 2009 to October 2010, he was the President and CEO of Tamaka Holdings Inc. a private company involved in the exploration and development of gold in Ontario. He was formerly the President and CEO of Arizona Star Resource Corp., a company which was acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation. Previously he was Senior Vice-President, Corporate Finance for Marleau, Lemire Securities Inc. (January 1995 to January 1998); Vice-President and Director, Investment Banking for HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc. (March 1998 to June 1999); Manager, Original Listings at the Toronto Stock Exchange (1985 to 1994) and director of Nevada Pacific Gold Ltd., a public company acquired by US Gold Inc.

Alan Coutts

Mr. Alan Coutts is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Noront Resources Ltd., with effective October 1, 2013. Mr. Coutts is a mining executive with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of exploration, feasibility, construction and production of mineral deposits. He has worked both domestically and abroad in a variety of roles and across multiple commodities. Most recently, he was the Managing Director of Xstrata Nickel Australasia based in Perth, Australia. He was General Manager at the Brunswick Mine, Canada before relocating to Australia. Previous to that, Mr. Coutts occupied roles that included General Manager, Manager of Mining, Chief Geologist and Regional Exploration Manager, mostly with Falconbridge. Mr. Coutts holds an Honours degree in Geology from the University of Alberta and has Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo) status in the province of Ontario.

Gregory Rieveley

Mr. Gregory R. Rieveley is the Chief Financial Officer of Noront Resources Ltd. He is the Former Vice-President of Internal Audit and Business Development of Harry Winston Diamond Corporation; Former Controller for Dundee Precious Metals.

Paul Semple

Mr. Paul G. Semple., P.Eng., is the Chief Operating Officer of Noront Resources Ltd. Mr. Semple's 28 year career in the mining industry has focused on feasibility studies, project development and operations of precious and base metals deposits. Much of his time was spent with Kilborn (later SNC-Lavalin) where he was involved in all aspects of global project development from initial studies through to construction and operations. During this time, Mr. Semple held various positions including Vice President and General Manager, SNC Lavalin Engineers and Constructors. Recently, Mr. Semple was Vice President of Projects for Western Goldfields Inc, and was responsible for the feasibility study and engineering/construction required to restart the Mesquite Mine. Mr. Semple holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Queen's University and is a Professional Engineer.

Stephen Flewelling

Mr. Stephen Flewelling is Senior Vice President - Mining & Projects of Noront Resources Ltd. Steve is a senior mining executive with more than 30 years of experience in exploration, feasibility planning, project development, construction and operations. He has worked domestically and abroad in a variety of roles and across multiple commodities. Most recently, Steve was Senior Vice President, Projects & Exploration at Glencore/Xstrata Nickel with responsibility for worldwide project development and the company's project pipeline. During this time, he was President of Falcondo, a laterite mining and ferronickel smelting facility in the Dominican Republic. Steve has held various senior positions at Glencore/Xstrata and its predecessor companies including Vice President, Projects and Engineering; Manager of Mines; and Director of Technical Services. Steve holds an Honours degree in Mining Engineering from Queen's University and has Professional Engineering status in the province of Ontario.

Mark Baker

Mr. Mark Baker, P. Eng., is the Vice President - Projects of Noront Resources Ltd. Mr. Baker has over 32 years working for mining companies and their suppliers, and with several consulting engineering companies supporting mining and other industries. He has held technical and management roles with responsibilities for developing and delivering projects, and managing project teams. He had 12 years with ICI Explosives, with roles in R&D, Engineering, and Operations, including leading plant design in the Americas and Europe, and as Engineering Manager for Canadian operations. Mr. Baker's consulting work included projects for major nickel mining companies. Recent roles include Vice President for Seneca Engineering, Vice President for Virtual Engineers, and Business Development Manager for WorleyParsons, Minerals and Metals. Mr. Baker holds Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Applied Science from Queen's University and is a Professional Engineer.

Glenn Nolan

Mr. Glenn Nolan is the Vice President - Aboriginal Affairs of Noront Resources Ltd. Glenn has advised a number of exploration and mining companies on Aboriginal engagement strategies and has provided information to Aboriginal communities on partnership, development and opportunities related to resource development. He is committed to continuing the creation of greater dialogue between communities and the mineral industry. Currently Mr. Nolan is the President of Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada where he sits on a number of committees. Glenn was elected as Chief of the Missanabie Cree First Nation in 2001 and served for three consecutive terms, ending in August 2010.

Colin Webster

Mr. Colin Webster, PEng, is the Vice President - Sustainability of the Company. He was with Goldcorp Inc. as the director of aboriginal, government and community relations, for the Canada and U.S. region from October, 2009, until April, 2014. Prior to joining Goldcorp, Mr. Webster was a founding partner at Blue Heron Solutions for Environmental Management, an environmental consultancy in Northern Ontario, providing technical and professional services to the resource development industry. He has a degree in mining engineering from Queen's University, a diploma in environmental technology from Fanshawe College, and over 20 years of experience within industry and consulting. Over his career, Mr. Webster has gained wide-ranging experience and insights into environmental management, government relations and corporate social responsibility.

Jean Gladu

Mr. Jean Paul Gladu serves as Director of the Company. He is President and CEO of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB). He is Anishinaabe from Thunder Bay and a member of Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek, located on the eastern shores of Lake Nipigon in Ontario. He has more than two decades of experience in the natural resources sector working with Aboriginal communities and organizations, environmental groups, industry and government. In his current capacity as President of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, Mr. Gladu focuses on building bridges between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples, business and communities, and travels across the country and internationally sharing the challenges and successes of Canadian Aboriginal businesses.

Bo Liu

Mr. Bo Liu serves as Director of the Company. He is Senior Manager, Global Resource Development, Baosteel Resources International will join the company's Board of Directors. He has held several senior positions since he joined Baosteel Resources in 2001, a world leader in steel and stainless steel products and one of Noront's major shareholders. He is a graduate of Tongji University in Shanghai and holds a Masters Degree in Business Management.

Sybil Veenman

Ms. Sybil E. Veenman is Director of Noront Resources Ltd. Ms. Veenman is a senior mining executive with over 20 years of experience, and most recently served as Senior Vice-President and General Counsel at Barrick Gold Corporation.

Darren Blasutti

Mr. Darren J. Blasutti is Independent Director of Noront Resources Ltd. Mr. Blasutti is the President and CEO of U.S. Silver & Gold Inc., whose primary asset is the Galena Mine Complex, a high grade silver mine located in the US Silver Valley in Idaho. Mr. Blasutti was formerly the Senior Vice President, Corporate Development for Barrick Gold Corporation (“Barrick”), reporting to the CEO. He played a leading role in the creation and implementation of Barrick's strategic development. He has executed over a dozen large gold acquisitions including the acquisitions of Placer Dome and Homestake Mining. He was VP, Investor Relations for Barrick from January 2004 to September 2005. He joined Barrick in 1998. He has been a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1996.

David Thomas

Mr. David Thomas, P.Geo., is Independent Director of Noront Resources Ltd. Mr. Thomas is the Managing Director (Canada) for RCF Management (Toronto) Inc. He is a Professional Geologist with an Honours B.Sc. in Earth Science from the University of Waterloo and a M.Sc. in Geology from Queen’s University. Mr. Thomas worked as an exploration geologist for eight years with Minnova Inc. and Metall Mining Corporation. Prior to joining RCF in 2010, Mr. Thomas spent fifteen years as a mining analyst and as an institutional equities salesperson. Mr. Thomas is a Director of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.
