Name Description

Denis Sirois

Mr. Denis M. Sirois has been appointed as Independent Chairman of the Board of Opsens Inc., with effect from 20 January 2015. He has been the Executive Vice-President of Exaclan Inc. since March 1996 and Vice-President, Investments, of Telesystem Ltd. since March 2006. Exaclan Inc. and Telesystem Ltd. are private holding companies. Mr. Sirois sits on the Board of Directors of Telesystem Ltd., Exaclan Inc., Plexo Inc. and CJL Capital Inc. (TSXV : CJL). From June 2006 to March 2012, Mr. Sirois sat on the Board of Directors of iPerceptions Inc. (TSXV: IPE), that being, until its privatization. Mr. Sirois still sits of the Board of Directors of IPerceptions Inc. From August 2010 to March 2011, Mr. Sirois has been a board member of Innovente Inc. (TSXV: IGE). Mr. Sirois began his career with the corporation Bureaux de crédit collectifs Ltée (BCCL), for which he became Managing Director in 1993. BCCL was a Québec leader in credit information systems and was sold to multinational in 1996.

Louis Laflamme

Mr. Louis Laflamme, CPA, CA, is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Opsens Inc. He has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective January 7, 2013. His principal tasks consist in defining and executing the financial strategy of the Company towards the shareholders and the financial community as well as in the operational activities. From March 2005 until November 2005, he held the position of Manager, Administration and Finances of DEQ System Corp, a corporation listed on the Exchange (TSXV: DEQ) and specialized in the manufacturing and distribution of electronic systems for gaming tables in casinos. From July 2002 until February 2005, Mr. Laflamme held various positions in the administrative department including the position of Vice-President Finance of TGN Biotech Inc., a company specialized in research and development in biotechnology. From January 2002 until July 2002, Mr. Laflamme also acted as corporate controller for St- Raymond Forest Products Ltd., a corporation involved in the manufacturing of veneers. From October 1998 until December 2001, he was Senior Auditor in the assurance and advisory department for Samson Bélair Deloitte & Touche, L.L.P. Mr. Laflamme has been a member of “Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec” since February 2001. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Université Laval obtained in May 1998.

Thierry Dumas

Mr. Thierry Dumas has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary of Opsens Inc., effective January 7, 2013. Mr. Dumas has held senior executive positions with private and public companies including EnGlobe Corp and Atrium Innovations, where he served as Corporate Controller. Atrium, a company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: ATB) with more than 1,100 employees, is recognized worldwide in the development and marketing of natural health products. Previously Mr. Dumas also held various positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young working his way up to Senior Manager.

George Quinoy

Mr. George J. Quinoy is Vice President, General Manager - U.S. Commercial Sales & Operations of the Company. Mr. Quinoy spent 12 years in senior leadership positions including president of U.S. and APLAC commercial sales, and executive vice-president of global sales and operations with Volcano Corp., which was acquired by Royal Philips for $1.2-billion (U.S.) in December, 2014. Prior to Volcano, Mr. Quinoy served as the vice-president of sales for Jomed Inc., AVE Inc., Medtronic AVE Inc. and ACS/Guidant. Mr. Quinoy received a BSc in public relations from the University of Florida.

Anthony Gibbons

Mr. Tony Gibbons is Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Opsens Inc. Mr. Gibbons spent 20 years with Boston Scientific Corp. in many senior leadership positions, including president, intercontinental, and vice-president, international sales. He was previously vice-president, international, at Thoratec Corp. He holds a bachelor's degree in science and majors in economics and marketing.

Claude Belleville

Mr. Claude Belleville is Vice President - Medical, Director of Opsens Inc. His primary responsibilities are to oversee the medical sector‘s activities by orienting the main lines of commercial and intellectual property development, planning the work and seeing to the implementation of the Corporation’s action plan. In May 1994, he co-founded FISO Technologies Inc., a corporation specializing in the manufacture of fibre optic sensors, for which he acted as President from May 1994 to December 2002, then as Vice-President of Research and Development until August 2003. In addition to seeing to the management of the Corporation, Mr. Belleville was responsible for the development of fibre optic sensors, and contributed to the development of numerous fibre optic sensing products and technologies. Mr. Belleville obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Engineering (Optics and Photonics) in May 1986 and a Master’s degree in Optics in May 1988 from Université Laval.

Gaetan Duplain

Mr. Gaetan Duplain is Vice President - Oil and Gas, Director of Opsens Inc. His primary responsibilities are to oversee the energy sector’s research activities by orienting the main lines of commercial and intellectual property development, planning the work and seeing to the implementation of the Corporation’s action plan. In May 1994, he co-founded FISO Technologies Inc., a company specializing in the manufacture of fibre optic sensors, for which he acted as Vice-President from July 1994 to August 2003. While with this company, Mr. Duplain acquired experience in high-tech business development and strategic planning. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Engineering from Université Laval in May 1985 and a Master’s degree in Optics and Laser from the same university in May 1986.

Denis Harrington

Mr. Denis Harrington has been appointed as Director of Opsens Inc., with effect from 20 January 2015. Mr. Harrington owns a management and strategy consulting firm he founded in 2012. Prior to managing his own company, he worked for several medical companies and, among other things, led BridgePoint Medical, Inc., as chief executive officer, from the development stage through commercialization and to a successful acquisition by Boston Scientific Corp. in October, 2012. He joined Boston Scientific in 1993 and worked for it for 18 years in various roles of increasing responsibility in the U.S. sales organization. Some of his most impressive achievements included managing over 1,800 people and $3-billion (U.S.) in revenue as senior vice-president cardiology, rhythm and vascular sales. He also played an integral role in the launch of Boston Scientific's Taxus stent platform as senior vice-president cardiology sales -- driving unprecedented revenue growth for the corporation. A graduate of the West Point United States Military Academy, he served for five years in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Captain. His service was focused in various leadership capacities including platoon and company leadership roles.

Pat Mackin

Mr. Pat Mackin has been appointed as Director of the Company. Mr. Mackin brings over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. Since September, 2014, Mr. Mackin has been president and CEO of CryoLife Inc., a leader in the manufacturing, processing and distribution of implantable living tissues and medical devices used in cardiac surgical procedures. CryoLife markets and sells products in more than 80 countries worldwide. Before joining CryoLife, he was president of the cardiac rhythm disease management division at Medtronic Inc. Previously, also at Medtronic, he held the positions of vice-president, vascular, Western Europe, where he launched the company's first drug-eluding stent called "Endeavour" and served as vice-president and general manager of the endovascular business unit. Prior to joining Medtronic, Mr. Mackin worked for six years at Genzyme Inc., serving as senior vice-president and general manager for the cardiovascular surgery business unit and as director of sales, surgical products division. Before joining Genzyme, Mr. Mackin spent five years at Deknatel/Snowden-Pencer Inc. in various sales and marketing roles, and three years as an officer in the U.S. Army. Mr. Mackin received an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Steven Arless

Mr. Steven G. Arless is an Independent Director of Opsens Inc. He currently focuses his efforts towards building early stage medical technology companies, particularly in the cardiovascular sector. From March 2009 to April 2012, Steven Arless was President and Chief Executive Officer of CardioInsight Technologies Inc., a Cleveland-based enterprise developing and commercializing cardiovascular technologies. From May 2007 to April 2008, he has been interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Resonant Medical Inc., a corporation that specializes in image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) that develops and commercializes 3D ultrasonography material and prostate and breast cancer treatment softwares. From May 1996 to July 2006, Mr. Arless was President and Chief Executive Officer of CryoCath Technologies Inc., a company that develops, manufactures and sells medical devices, more particularly for cardiovascular diseases, treatment of cardiac arrhythmia and cryoablation. He has over 35 years of international marketing and sales experience in the medical devices and pharmaceutical industries. From 2004 to July 2012, he has been a member of Concordia University’s Advisory Board of the John-Molson School of Business. From 2003 to September 2011, he has been also a member of McGill University’s Advisory Board of the Faculty of Sciences since 2003. Mr. Arless holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University which he received in 1971. He also holds, since 2008, an MBA degree from the Concordia University.

Jean Lavigueur

Mr. Jean Lavigueur is an Independent Director of Opsens Inc. He is Chief Financial Officer of Coveo Solutions Inc., an enterprise search vendor since April 2006. He was a director of iPerceptions Inc. (TSXV: IPE), a web-focused Voice of Customer analytics provider, from June 2007 to March 2012, and was its Chairman of its Audit Committee and of its Special Committee of independent directors when the corporation was sold and privatized. Mr. Lavigueur was also a member of the board of directors of Cossette Inc. (TSX: KOS), and was the Chairman of its Audit Committee and of its Special Committee of independent directors until December 2009 when the corporation was sold and privatized. Before Coveo, he cofounded and served as Chief Financial Officer of Taleo Corporation (NASDAQ: TLEO), a public corporation providing talent management and staffing solutions on the Web from March 1999 to May 2005, and served from June 2005 to December 2005 in other capacities, including Vice President, Finance. Prior to Taleo, Mr. Lavigueur served as chief financial officer of Baan Supply Chain Solutions, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications vendor, from May 1996 to February 1999, and as Chief Financial Officer of Berclain Group Inc., a supply chain management solutions vendor acquired by BAAN, from May 1991 to April 1996. Prior to his employment with Berclain Group Inc., Mr. Lavigueur worked in the audit and tax divisions of Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers), a public accounting firm. Mr. Lavigueur holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Laval University in Canada and has been a Professional Chartered Accountant since 1986.
