Robert Mitchell

 Mr. Robert A. Mitchell, C.A., is Independent Interim Chairman of the Board of Orvana Minerals Corporation. He served as Director from December 2003 to June 2006. Mr. Mitchell is Corporate director from October 2001; prior to October 2001, Partner, Ernst & Young LLP, an accounting firm. Mr. Robert Mitchell is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In addition to his role as Chair of the Company’s Audit Committee, he is a director of other companies, and is the Chairman of the audit committee of one and a member of the audit committee of another. He was a partner with Ernst & Young LLP for 27 years experience in the investment and securities industries.

Michael Winship

 Mr. Michael D. Winship is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Orvana Minerals Corp. He has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective April 8, 2013. Mr. Winship has over 30 years of international experience in mine development, operations, and corporate business. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Quadra FNX Mining Ltd prior to its acquisition by KGHM in 2012. He previously served as President of HudBay Minerals and Chief Operating Officer of PT International Nickel, now PT Vale. He held project and operating positions with Inco, Placer Dome, and Cominco. He is currently a Director of Rubicon Minerals Corporation and a Director of Avanti Mining Inc. Mr. Winship holds a Bachelors of Mining Engineering Degree from McGill University.

Daniella Dimitrov

 Ms. Daniella Dimitrov is Chief Financial Officer of Orvana Minerals Corp. Ms. Dimitrov has over 18 years of experience in capital markets and in operational mining and financial services. Ms. Dimitrov's previous roles include director and executive vice-chair with Baffinland Iron Mines, through its acquisition by ArcelorMittal, senior vice-president, strategic initiatives at Raymond James and chief operating officer of Dundee Securities. Ms. Dimitrov has a bachelor of laws and is completing an executive MBA at Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business.

Edmundo Guimaraes

 Mr. Edmundo Guimaraes has been appointed as Director of Orvana Minerals Corp effective March 1, 2013. Mr. Guimaraes held management positions with Aur Resources Inc. ("Aur") between 1995 and 2007, ultimately serving as Executive Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the Company until Aur was acquired by Teck Resources Limited. Mr. Guimaraes is currently an independent business consultant and is a director of Nuinsco Resources Limited, Aldridge Minerals Inc., Giyani Gold Corp. and Karmin Exploration Inc. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario.

Jorge Szasz

 Mr. Jorge Szasz is Director of Orvana Minerals Corp. He served as Director of the Company from August 2002 to November 2005. He has experience in the mining industry and served as a director of Orvana and as the company's Chief Financial Officer from 2002 to 2005. Mr. Szasz is an independent consultant. Prior to this, Mr. Szasz was Vice President Finance, Administration and Commercialization of Sinchi Wayra S.A. (a subsidiary of Glencore International AG), a Bolivian mining company.

Audra Walsh

 Ms. Audra Walsh, P.E., is Independent Director of Orvana Minerals Corp. She has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Minera S.A. since September 2012; prior to that was President and CEO of A2Z Mining, Inc. since January 2011, a mining consultancy; prior to that was Senior Manager at Barrick Gold Corporation, a mining company, from November 2007 to January 2011.

C. John Wilson

 Mr. C. John Wilson is Independent Director of Orvana Minerals Corp. He has been an independent project finance and economic development consultant since 2011, prior to that, Chief Credit Officer, Credit Review Department, International Finance Corporation and a member of the World Bank Group, since August 2003, prior to that Mr. Wilson was the Chief Investment Officer, Mining Division, International Finance Corporation.
