Name Description
Bohn, Robert Robert G. Bohn is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Oshkosh Corporation. Bohn joined company in 1992 as Vice President-Operations. He was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in 1994. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 1997, and Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2000. Mr. Bohn's title was changed to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2007. Prior to joining company, Mr. Bohn held various executive positions with Johnson Controls, Inc. from 1984 until 1992. He has served as a director of company since 1995 and is also a director of Carlisle Companies, Inc. and Menasha Corporation.
Szews, Charles Charles L. Szews is President, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Oshkosh Corporation. Mr. Szews has served as a Director of company since 2007. Mr. Szews joined company in 1996 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed Executive Vice President in 1997, a position in which he served until his appointment to his current position as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2007. Prior to that, he served as Director of Bradley Programs at BAE Systems from 2002 to 2006. Mr. Hamre currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Strategic & International Studies, a bipartisan, nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., that provides strategic insights and policy solutions to decision makers in government, international institutions, the private sector and civil society, a position he has held since 2000. Prior to joining the Center for Strategic & International Studies, Mr. Hamre served as the 26th Deputy Secretary of Defense from 1997 until 2000. In 2007, he was appointed to serve as chairman of the Defense Policy Board. From 1993 to 1997, he served as Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller). As Comptroller, he was the principal assistant to the Secretary of Defense for the preparation, presentation, and execution of the defense budget and management improvement programs. Before serving in the U.S. Department of Defense, Mr. Hamre worked for 10 years as a professional staff member of the Senate Armed Services Committee. During that time, he was primarily responsible for the oversight and evaluation of procurement, research and development programs, defense budget issues, and relations with the Senate Appropriations Committee. From 1978 to 1984, he served in the Congressional Budget Office, where he became its deputy assistant director for national security and international affairs. In that position, he oversaw analysis and other support for committees in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. Mr. Hamre's nomination to Board was recommended by the Governance Committee based upon a search performed by a third-party search firm at the direction of the Governance Committee. Mr. Hamre is also a director of ITT, Inc., Mitre Corporation and Science Applications International Corporation, Inc.
