Name Description
Weaver, Michael Mr. Michael D. Weaver has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Otelco, Inc. and its predecessor Rural LEC Acquisition LLC since January 1999. He became Chairman of the Board on December 21, 2004 upon the closing of initial public offering. Prior to this time, he spent 10 years with Oneonta Telephone Co., Inc., the predecessor to Otelco Telephone, serving as Chief Financial Officer from 1990 to 1998 and General Manager from January 1998 to January 1999.
Garner, Curtis Mr. Curtis L. Garner, Jr. has served as Otelco Inc.'s Chief Financial Officer since February 2004. Prior to this position, he provided consulting services to a number of businesses and not-for-profit organizations from October 2002. He served PTEK Holdings, Inc. from November 1997 through September 2002 (including one year as a consultant), first as President of one of its divisions, and later as Chief Administrative Officer for another division. Prior thereto, he spent 26 years at AT&T Corp., retiring in 1997 as the Chief Financial Officer of the Southern and Southwestern Regions of AT&T Corp.’s consumer long distance business.
Andrews, Dennis Mr. Dennis Andrews was appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of Otelco Inc.'s Alabama division in August 2006. He served as Vice President and General Manager, Brindlee and Blountsville since November 2005 and Vice President — Regulatory Affairs since July 2000. Prior to this position, he spent 21 years at Brindlee where he held several positions, including Vice President — Finance, General Manager, Operations Manager and Accounting Department Manager.
Winchester, Nicholas Mr. Nicholas A. Winchester joined Otelco, Inc. in July 2006 as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of New England division (previously known as Maine division). He served as the President of Mid-Maine when it was acquired by Otelco. From 1998 through 2005, he served in various leadership positions in the sales organization, building the successful competitive sales team for Mid-Maine.
Souza, Robert Mr. Robert J. Souza joined Otelco, Inc. in October 2008 as the Vice President of Operations for New England. He served as President for the CR Companies from 2001 until they were acquired by Otelco in October 2008. Prior to that role, he served as Operations Manager for Saco River, having joined that company in 1983. Boles, Jerry Mr. Jerry C. Boles has served as Otelco Inc.'s Vice President and Controller since he joined the company in January 1999. Prior to joining Otelco, he was controller for McPherson Oil Company for 14 years. He also worked in public accounting for 10 years, is licensed as a CPA by the state of Alabama, and is a member in good standing of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Romig, Gary Mr. Gary B. Romig has served as Otelco Inc.'s Vice President and General Manager of Missouri division since its acquisition in December 2004. He served as Co-President of the company for five years prior to the acquisition by Otelco. He joined Mid-Missouri in May 1973 and has been involved in all aspects of the outside plant operation.
McCall, Stephen Mr. Stephen P. McCall has served as a Director of Otelco, Inc. and its predecessor Rural LEC Acquisition LLC since January 1999 and as Chairman of the Board of Rural LEC Acquisition LLC until the closing of initial public offering on December 21, 2004. He founded and is currently a Managing Member of Blackpoint Equity Partners LLC, a private equity investment firm. Prior to founding Blackpoint, he was a General Partner at Seaport Capital, where he was employed from 1997 through 2007. Previously, Mr. McCall worked at Patricof & Co. Meyers, Andrew Mr. Andrew Meyers has served as a Director of Otelco, Inc. and its predecessor Rural LEC Acquisition LLC since October 2003. A finance professional, he is currently an independent private equity investor and consultant. Previously, he was a Principal at Seaport Capital, a telecommunications and media focused private equity firm from 2001 to 2007. He has also worked at Deutsche Bank as part of the investment banking team in both the Industrials Group (2007 to 2009) and Leveraged Finance Group (1998 to 2001).
Bak, William Mr. William Bak was appointed as a Director of Otelco, Inc. on February 24, 2005. Now retired, Mr. Bak worked for First Data Corporation from 1994 to 2002 and consulted with Western Union International for two years after retiring. He served as President of InfoSource and as Executive Vice President of Western Union International. His consulting with Western Union International focused on building their business in Europe and Asia. Prior to First Data, he spent 30 years with Dun & Bradstreet Corporation where his senior positions included President of Donnelley Information Publishing and Executive Vice President of D&B Credit Services.
Haug, Howard Mr. Howard J. Haug was appointed as a Director of Otelco, Inc. on December 21, 2004 upon the closing of initial public offering. Mr. Haug is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Space Florida, an independent district and subdivision of the State of Florida that is responsible for promoting and developing Florida’s aerospace industry. Prior to joining Space Florida, he was Chief Financial Officer of Healthfair USA, a privately held mobile preventive health care screening company, from April 2007 to November 2007 and Senior Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Enterprise Florida from March 2003 to April 2007. Before joining Enterprise Florida, he spent 13 years with AT&T’s BellSouth unit. Prior to his career with BellSouth, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young and is a certified public accountant. He serves as the audit committee financial expert.
Kunz, John Mr. John P. Kunz was appointed as a Director of Otelco, Inc. on December 21, 2004 upon the closing of initial public offering. Mr. Kunz is the founder and President, since 1989, of J.P.K. Associates, an international consulting firm in the information industry. From 1978 to 1989, Mr. Kunz served in successive management positions with Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, culminating with his position as President of Dun & Bradstreet Marketing Services in 1982 and President of Dun & Bradstreet Business Information Services in 1984. From 1975 to 1978, Mr. Kunz served as Chairman of R.H. Donnelley Marketing Services, Europe.
Reddersen, William Mr. William F. Reddersen was appointed as a Director of Otelco, Inc. on December 21, 2004 upon the closing of initial public offering. Now retired, Mr. Reddersen spent 31 years at BellSouth and AT&T Corp. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Reddersen was Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy at BellSouth, and from 1991 to 1998, he was responsible for BellSouth’s broadband strategy and business market operations. Mr. Reddersen serves as a director of Harmonic Inc. and several private companies.
