Name Description

Joseph Kennedy

Mr. Joseph Kennedy is the Chief Executive Officer and President for Pandora Media, Inc. Prior to that, he was with t E-LOAN, where he was President and Chief Operating Officer. Before that, he was the Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing for Saturn Corporation. He has joined the initial start-up team at Saturn, four months after its founding, as a marketing manager and held positions of increasing marketing responsibility over the course of his 11-year tenure there. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University.

Michael Herring

Mr. Michael S. Herring has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Pandora Media Inc., effective February 1, 2013. He served as the vice president of operations at Adobe Systems Incorporated, a provider of digital marketing and digital media solutions, from 2009 to 2013. Mr. Herring served as the chief financial officer and executive vice president of Omniture, Inc., a provider of online business optimization software, from 2004 to 2009. Prior to Omniture, Mr. Herring served as the chief financial officer of MyFamily.com (now Ancestry.com), having joined the company through the acquisition of Third Age Media in 2000. At Third Age Media, Mr. Herring served as vice president of finance. Prior to Third Age Media, he served as controller of Anergen Inc.

Thomas Conrad

Mr. Thomas Conrad is the Chief Technical Officer & Executive Vice President of Product for Pandora Media, Inc. Previously, he has led numerous engineering and product design teams across a wide range of applications - from operating systems and enterprise software to video games and consumer web sites. He was the Vice President of Engineering at Kenamea, Inc. where he led the teams responsible for the design and development of an award-winning Internet-scale messaging system. Past experience also includes engineering management positions at Berkeley Systems, Relevance Technologies, Documentum, Pets.com, and Kenamea. He began his career at Apple Computer developing user interface elements for the Mac OS. He holds three United States patents and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Simon Fleming-Wood

Previous to joining Pandora in 2011, Simon was the founding Vice President of Marketing at Pure Digital Technologies where he was responsible for the creation, development and introduction of the iconic Flip Video brand, which reinvented personal video and sold over 7 million cameras within three years. After the purchase of Pure Digital Technologies by Cisco in 2009, Simon held the position of Vice President of Marketing for the Cisco Consumer Products group. In that role, he oversaw the worldwide marketing organization for Cisco's consumer business, including the Linksys and Flip Video brands and led the development and execution of all integrated marketing efforts, including brand strategy, research, advertising and media, public relations, marketing partnerships, and ecommerce. Previously, Simon held senior marketing positions at Sega.com, the Learning Company/Mattel and The Clorox Company. Simon graduated with a BA in Political Science from Stanford University in 1991.Simon's Pandora line-up is heavily influenced by two defining characteristics: his Canadian upbringing and his 10 and 12 year old daughters. His most played stations include Canadian legends like Neil Young and the Tragically Hip, and, when his kids are in control, Lady Gaga and the Glee Cast.

Peter Ekman

Mr. Peter Ekman is the Vice President of Human Resources for Pandora Media, Inc. Prior to that, he was the Director of Human Resources for StubHub, Inc., an online marketplace for event tickets. He was also the Vice President of Human Resources at Digital Island, a managed hosting and network services organization to Global 500 companies, where he was responsible for creating a world-class global HR group to support the rapid growth of the business. His previous positions include Director of Corporate Human Resources at Network Equipment Technologies, in addition to several other positions at N.E.T. He has received a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis.

Peter Chernin

James Feuille

Mr. James Feuille is a General Partner of Crosslink Capital, Inc. He focuses on investments in Digital Media & Internet Services and Software and Business Services. Prior to joining Crosslink in 2002, he brought 20 years of technology investment banking and management experience to the firm. His prior positions included Global Head of Technology Investment Banking at UBS; Chief Operating Officer at Volpe Brown Whelan & Company, where he ran all aspects of the firm's investment banking and brokerage operations; and Head of Technology Investment Banking at Robertson Stephens, where he built the technology investment banking team into a leadership position in the industry. His investments at Crosslink include Pandora (P, IPO 2011), Ancestry.com (ACOM, IPO 2009), Omniture (OMTR, IPO 2006, acquired by Adobe 2009), Devon Way, SilkRoad Technology, IronKey, Mevio, Hi5, Affine Systems, NWP Services and eCast.

Peter Gotcher

Mr. Peter Gotcher is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Topspin Media, Inc. He is an independent investor focusing on investments in digital media technology companies. From 1999 through 2003 he was a Venture Partner with Redpoint Ventures. From 1997-1999 he held the same position with Institutional Venture Partners. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Avnera, Line6, ZING and Dolby Laboratories (NYSE:DLB). Over the past few years he has also served on the Board of Directors of MusicMatch (acquired by Yahoo!), Onebox.com (acquired byPhone.com), iGo Corporation (acquired by Mobility), ViaPhone (acquired byExtended Systems), Avid Technology, MyPlay (acquired by the Bertelsmann MusicGroup), and Pacific Microsonics (acquired by Microsoft). He founded Digidesign, Inc. in 1984 and served as its President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman through the company's Initial Public Offering in December of 1993, and subsequent merger with Avid Technology in January of 1995. He served as the General Manager of Digidesign and Executive Vice President of Avid until May1996. Previously, he worked for Dolby Laboratories and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley.

Robert Kavner

Robert Kavner has served on our board of directors since March 2004 and lead independent director since March 2010. Since 1995, Mr. Kavner has been an independent venture capital investor focusing on investments in technology companies. From January 1996 through December 1998, Mr. Kavner served as president and chief executive officer of On Command Corporation, a provider of on-demand video systems for the hospitality industry. From 1984 to 1994, Mr. Kavner held several senior management positions at AT&T, a provider of telecommunications services, including senior vice president, chief financial officer and chief executive officer of Multimedia Products and Services Group and chairman of AT&T Venture Capital Group. Mr. Kavner also served as a member of AT&Ts executive committee. Mr. Kavner served on the board of directors of Earthlink, an internet service provider, from 2001 to 2008, and currently serves on the boards of directors of a number of privately-held companies. Prior to joining AT&T, Mr. Kavner was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Kavner received a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from Adelphi University.

Barry McCarthy

Mr. Barry McCarthy is no longer Director of Pandora Media, Inc., effective June 2013. He is Venture Partner of Technology Crossover Ventures. Mr. McCarthy most recently served as the CFO of Netflix, a TCV portfolio company and the world's streaming video company with over 20 million subscribers, where he was responsible for financial and legal affairs since 1999. Prior to joining Netflix, he spent six years as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Music Choice, a music programming service distributed over direct broadcast satellite and cable systems. Mr. McCarthy has also held several positions at Credit Suisse First Boston where he worked with venture capital-backed and LBO investments. He currently serves as a Director on the boards of Chegg, Pandora and Wealthfront.

David Sze

Mr. David Sze is a Partner at Greylock Partners. He joined Greylock Partners in2000. His areas of focus include consumer Internet and services, mediaconvergence, wireless data, and technology-assisted marketing services. His investments include Facebook, Revision3, digg, Oodle, LinkedIn (NYSE: LNKD), Pandora (NASDAQ: P), SoftCoin (acquired by You Technology), SEVEN, SGN (acquired by MindJolt), VUDU (acquired by Walmart) and New Edge Networks (acquired by EarthLink). He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master's in Business Administration from Stanford University.

Tim Westergren

Pandora Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Tim Westergren started the popular personalized radio service in 2000 with the Music Genome Project. Tim is an award-winning composer and accomplished musician with 20 years of experience in the music industry spanning production, audio engineering, film scoring and live performance. Trained as a jazz pianist, his musical background spans such genres as rock, blues, jazz and classical music.Tim received his B.A. from Stanford University, where he studied computer acoustics and recording technology. A musician's musician, he is dedicated to helping talented emerging artists find an audience. In addition to guiding Pandora's overall strategy and vision, Tim now spends most of his time as Pandora's chief evangelist - traveling the country to connect with some of the tens of millions of people who listen to Pandora. He also works extensively with technology partners, distribution partners, advertisers and investors to help shape the future of Pandora and personalized radio.
