| Vana Rousseff, Dilma | Ms. Dilma Vana Rousseff has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since January 3, 2003. She serves as Representative of the Controller. She served as Minister of Mines and Energy of Brazil from January 1, 2003 until June 16, 2005, when she was appointed to be Minister Chief of Staff of Brazil. She has also served as State Secretary of Energy, Mines and Communications of the State of Rio Grande do Sul between 1993 and 1994 and between 1999 and 2002, as President of Fundacao de Economia e Estatistica do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (Economy and Statistics Foundation of the State of Rio Grande do Sul) between 1991 and 1993, and as Secretary of Finance of Porto Alegre between 1986 and 1988. She has also participated, as Coordinator of the Infrastructure Group, in the previous Governmental Transition Team, which was created to facilitate the transition of power to the current government. She got a Bachelors degree in Economics from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in 1977, and a Masters degree in Economic Theory from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) in 1979. |
| Gabrielli de Azevedo, Jose Sergio | Mr. Jose Sergio Gabrielli de Azevedo has served as Member of the Executive Board, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro SA - Petrobras as Representative of the Controller since July 22, 2005. | Barbassa, Almir Guilherme | Mr. Almir Guilherme Barbassa has served as Member of the Executive Board, Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Officer of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since July 21, 2005. | De Oliveira Estrella, Guilherme | Mr. Guilherme De Oliveira Estrella has served as Member of the Executive Board and Exploration and Production Officer of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since 2003. He graduated in Geology from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 1964. He has been working within the Company since 1965. He joined the Company as Geologist and became Exploration Manager for Braspetro in Iraq from 1976 to 1978. | De Souza Duque, Renato | Mr. Renato De Souza Duque has served as Member of the Executive Board and Service Officer of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since January 31, 2003. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense, specializing in Petroleum Engineering, completing a post-graduate Masters of Business Administration course at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. | Costa, Paulo Roberto | Mr. Paulo Roberto Costa has served as Member of the Executive Board and Downstream Officer of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since May 14, 2004. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Parana in 1976 and specialized in Off-shore Engineering within the Company. From 1979 to 1994, he worked on platform installation and production development at the Campos basin in the areas of Engineering, Support Management and as Superintendent of the Southeastern Production Region. In 1995, he was promoted to General Manager of E&P Sul (Southern Brazil Exploration and Production), with responsibility for the Santos and Pelotas basins. In 1996, he became General Manager for Logistics in the E&P area. From May 1997 to 1999, he headed up the Gas Segment, responsible for commercialization of natural gas. | Silva Foster, Maria das Gracas | Ms. Maria das Gracas Silva Foster has served as Member of the Executive Board and Gas Energy Officer of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since September 21, 2007. She graduated in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense in 1978. She also got a Masters degree in Nuclear Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 1979, and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Economics from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) in 1999. She had been serving as President of Petrobras Distribuidora SA since May 2006. In September 2005, she took-over as President of Petroquisa, a position she accumulated with that of Director for Investor Relations for that company. Simultaneously, she was also Executive Manager for Petrochemicals and Fertilizers. From January 2003 to May 2006, she was the Mines and Energy Ministry’s Secretary for Oil, Natural Gas, and Renewable Fuels. Before that, she had already held managerial positions at the Gas and Energy Business Unit and at the Leopoldo Miguez de Mello Research and Development Center, in addition to at the Transportadora Brasileira do Gasoduto Bolivia-Brasil. | Zelada, Jorge Luiz | Mr. Jorge Luiz Zelada has served as Member of the Executive Board and International Business Officer of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since March 3, 2008. He is Electronic Engineer and has worked within the Company since January 1980, where he began working as Instrumentation Engineer at the Executive Group for the Development of the Campos Basin (Grupo Executivo para Desenvolvimento da Bacia de Campos – Gecan), participating in the projects of the first platforms for that basin. His previous position at the Company, which he was holding since February 2003, was of General Manager for the Implementation of Exploration Undertakings and Production and Maritime Transportation for the Engineering Area (Gerente Geral de Implementacao de Empreendimentos de Exploracao e Producao e Transporte Maritimo da Area de Engenharia), the body in charge of building production platforms. He also occupied other managing positions in the areas of engineering and drilling. | Colletti Barbosa, Fabio | Mr. Fabio Colletti Barbosa has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since January 3, 2003 as Representative of Minority Common Shareholders. He graduated in Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) in 1976, obtaining his Masters of Business Administration degree from IMEDE (Institute for Management and Development) Business School, Lausanne, Switzerland in 1979. He held positions in the Treasury area of Nestle both in Brazil and overseas for the period from 1974 to 1986. He was Director for various financial areas of the Citicorp Group between 1986 and 1992. He was President of LTCB Latin America Ltda. between May 1992 and August 1995. In September 1995, he moved to ABN Amro Bank, Sao Paulo - Brazil where he held the position of Corporate Banking and Finance Director until 1996, when he became President of the institution. | Mantega, Guido | Mr. Guido Mantega has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since April 3, 2006 as Representative of the Controlling Shareholder. He graduated in Economics from Universidade de Sao Paulo in 1971. He was Professor of Economics at Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV)’s School of Business Administration, hired in 1981. He took his Doctorate in Philosophy degree in Development Sociology at Universidade de Sao Paulo's College of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters, specializing at the University of Sussex' Institute of Development Countries (IDS), in England, in 1977. He was Professor of Economics for the Sao Paulo Catholic University Master's Degree and Doctoral program from 1984 to 1987, and was also Budget Director and Chief of Staff for the Sao Paulo Municipal Planning Secretariat from 1982 to 1992. He was Member of PT's Economic Program Coordination for the 1984, 1989, and 1998 presidential elections, and has been President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's Economic Advisor since 1993. Additionally, he was one of Coordinators for PT's Economic Program in the 2002 campaign. | Rondeau Cavalcante Silva, Silas | Mr. Silas Rondeau Cavalcante Silva has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since April 3, 2006 as Representative of the Controlling Shareholder. On July 11 2005, he took over the position of State Minister of Mines and Energy. He was President of Eletrobras from 2004 to 2005, Eletronorte from 2003 to 2004, Manaus Energia from 2000 to 2002, Companhia Energetica do Amazonas from 2000 to 2002, and of Boa Vista Energia from 2002 to 2003. | De Albuquerque, Francisco Roberto | Mr. Francisco Roberto De Albuquerque has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since April 2, 2007. He serves as Controlling Shareholder Representative. He graduated in Military Science from Escola de Aperfeicoamento de Oficiais - EsAO in 1969, and in Military Science from Escola de Comando e Estado-Maior do Exercito - ECEME in 1977. He commanded the Second Self-Propelled Artillery Company group headquartered in Itu. An Economics graduate, he was deputy secretary for Army General Leonidas Pires Goncalves. In the Army minister’s cabinet, he held the positions of Head of the Third Advisory and Deputy Head of the Cabinet. He was Head of the Brazilian Army Commission and Adjunct Military Attache in Washington, Army Staff Cabinet Head, Commander of the 11th Armored Infantry Brigade, Coordinator of the Military Observer Mission in the Ecuador/Peru conflict Peace Process, Army Staff Deputy Head, General Secretary for the Army, Head of the General Service Department, and Information Technology Secretary. He was promoted to his current rank on March 31, 2000. When named to be Army Commander, he held the position of Military Commander for the Southeast, headquartered in Sao Paulo city. | Galvao Coutinho, Luciano | Mr. Luciano Galvao Coutinho has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras since April 4, 2008 as Representative of the Controller. He holds a Doctorate in Philosophy degree in Economics from the Cornell University, and a Masters and a Bachelors degree in Economics from Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP). He is guest Professor at the University of Campinas (Unicamp). He wrote and was Organizer of several books. In 1994, he coordinated the Study on the Brazilian Industry's Competitiveness. He was Visiting Professor at the Universities of Sao Paulo, of Paris XIII, of Texas, and at the Ortega y Gasset Institute, in addition to being full Professor at Unicamp. Before being appointed President of the BNDES, he was Partner at LCA Consultores, where he worked as Specialist Consultant in the defense of competition, in international trade, and prepared technical economic expert reports.
