Name Description

Guido Mantega

 Mr. Guido Mantega has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since March 19, 2010. Prior to that, he served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Company since April 3, 2006, as Representative of the Controlling Shareholder. He was Member of the Workers’ Party’s (PT) Economic Program Coordination for the 1984, 1989, 1998 and 2002 presidential elections, and has been Brazil ex-President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's Economic Advisor since 1993. He has published articles in magazines such as Revista de Economia Politica, Estudos CEBRAP, and Teoria em Debate. He was Minister of Planning, Budget, and Management until November 18, 2004, when he became President of the Development Bank (BNDES). On March 28, 2006, he took over the position of Minister of the Treasury and, on April 3, 2006, he was elected Member of the Board of Directors of the Company and Petrobras Distribuidora SA. He was Professor of Economics at Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV)’s School of Business Administration, hired in 1981. He graduated from Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP) with a Doctorate in Philosophy degree in Sociology in 1977 and from Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP) with a degree in Economics in 1971.

Maria das Gracas Silva Foster

 Ms. Maria das Gracas Silva Foster has served as Chief Executive Officer, a Member of the Executive Board, and a Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since February 13, 2012. Prior to that, she acted as Gas and Energy Officer and a Member of the Executive Board of the Company from September 21, 2007. She has served as President of Petrobras Distribuidora SA since May 2006. In September 2005, she took over as President of Petroquisa, a position she accumulated with that of Director for Investor Relations. Simultaneously, she was also Executive Manager for Petrochemicals and Fertilizers. From January 2003 to May 2006, she was the Mines and Energy Ministry’s Secretary for Oil, Natural Gas, and Renewable Fuels. Before that, she had already held managerial positions at the Gas and Energy Business Unit and at the Leopoldo Miguez de Mello Research and Development Center, in addition to at the Transportadora Brasileira do Gasoduto Bolivia-Brasil. She is President of the Board of Directors of Liquigas Distribuidora SA, Vice President of the Board of Directors of Companhia Brasileira de Petroleo Ipiranga, and Member of the Board of Directors of Instituto Brasileiro de Petroleo, Gas e Biocombustiveis. In April 2007, she was decorated with the Foreign Relations Ministry’s Rio Branco Order’s title of Commendator. She graduated from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) with a Master’s of Business Administration degree in Economics in 1999; from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro with a Master’s in Chemical Engineering in 1979; from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro with a Master’s in Nuclear Engineering in 1979; and from Universidade Federal Fluminense with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering in 1978.

Almir Guilherme Barbassa

 Mr. Almir Guilherme Barbassa has served as Chief Financial Officer, Investor Relations Officer, and a Member of the Executive Board of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since July 22, 2005. Previously, he had been Executive Manager for Corporate Finances and a Member of the Executive Board as from July 12, 1999. He joined the Company in 1974. Through 1989, he held several positions in the financial and planning areas, both in Brazil and abroad. From August 1989 to September 1992, he was Financial Manager for Petrobras America INC in Houston, Texas. In 1993, he was assigned as Chief Financial Officer of Braspetro. He is former President of Braspetro Oil Service Co – Brasoil, of Petrobras International Finance Co – PIFCO, of Petrobras Finance Ltd, of Petrobras Netherlands BV, of Petrobras Ireland, and of Catleia Ireland. He graduated from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) with a Master’s in Economics.

Jose Antonio de Figueiredo

 Mr. Jose Antonio de Figueiredo has served as Technology, Engineering and Materials Officer and a Member of the Executive Board of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since May 16, 2012. Prior to this, he acted as Executive Manager of E&P Services in the area of exploration and production of the Company. He has 33 years of professional experience within the Company and has held a number of managerial positions at the energy, exploration and production board. He graduated from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Electronics Engineering.

Jose Carlos Cosenza

 Mr. Jose Carlos Cosenza has served as Supply Officer and a Member of the Executive Board of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since April 27, 2012. Previously, he was Executive Manager of Refining of the Company. He has 36 years of experience at the Company having held various positions related to the supply and international areas. He graduated in Chemical Engineering.

Jose Eduardo De Barros Dutra

 Mr. Jose Eduardo de Barros Dutra has served as Corporate and Services Officer and a Member of the Executive Board of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since March 1, 2012. He was President and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Company between January 2003 and July 2005. During that period, he was also a Member of the Board of Directors of Petrobras Distribuidora S.A. - BR. Moreover, he was the President of Petrobras Distribuidora between September 2007 and August 2009. He acted as a Geologist at Petrobras Mineracao S.A. – Petromisa from 1983 to 1990 and at Companhia Vale do Rio Doce from 1990 to 1994. In addtition to this, he also held the following posts: Chairman of the Board at Petrobras Gas S.A. – Gaspetro, Petrobras Transporte S.A. - Transpetro, Petrobras Quimica S.A. – Petroquisa, Petrobras Energia S.A. – Pesa and Liquigas Distribuidora S.A. Moreover, he was a Senator of the Sergipe State between 1995 and 2003. He graduated from Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) in Geology in 1979.

Jose Miranda Formigli

 Mr. Jose Miranda Formigli Filho has served as Exploration and Production Officer and a Member of the Executive Board of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since February 9, 2012. He has 29 years of experience within the Company having held a number of managerial positions related to the area of exploration and production. In 2008, he was appointed Executive Manager in the planning and development of pre-salt discoveries area. He held this post till February 2012. He is a Member of SPE (Sociedade de Engenheiros de Petroleo). He graduated from Instituto Militar de Engenharia in Civil Engineering and from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro with a post graduate degree in Structure Matrix Analysis, as well as from The Coppead Graduate School of Business with a Master's of Business Administration in Business Management.

Jose Alcides Santoro Martins

 Mr. Jose Alcides Santoro Martins has served as Gas and Energy Officer and a Member of the Executive Board of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since February 9, 2012. Till this date, he was Executive Manager of Operations and Investments in Energy as from November 2008. He has 32 years of professional experience gained at the Company where he held numerous managerial functions, as well as the post of a Member of the Board of Directors of the Company's subsidiaries. Moreover, he was also Technology Director of Centro de Tecnologias do Gas e Energia Renovaveis – CTGAS-ER between February 2004 and May 2004. He served as a Director of Oil and Gas at Empresa de Pesquisa Energetica – EPE from May 2005 to June 2006. He graduated from Universidade de Sao Paulo and gained a post graduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and a post graduate degree in Energy Systems Planning from Unicamp.

Miriam Aparecida Belchior

 Ms. Miriam Aparecida Belchior has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since August 23, 2011. She has also been State Minister of Planning, Budget and Management since January 1, 2011. Before that, from 2004, she acted at Casa Civil da Presidencia da Republica, being responsible for foreign projects monitoring, where from 2007, she coordinated Development Acceleration Program. Between 1997 and 2002, she acted as Secretary of the Administrative and Modernization Administration and later Secretary of Social Inclusion and Housing of the municipality of Santo Andre. She graduated from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) with a Master’s in Public Administration.

Francisco Roberto de Albuquerque

 Mr. Francisco Roberto de Albuquerque has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since April 2, 2007. He is Controlling Shareholder's Representative. He was Deputy Secretary for Army General Leonidas Pires Goncalves. In the Army Minister’s cabinet, he held the positions of Head of the Third Advisory and Deputy Head of the Cabinet. He was Head of the Brazilian Army Commission and Adjunct Military Attache in Washington, Army Staff Cabinet Head, and Coordinator of the Military Observer Mission in the Ecuador/Peru conflict Peace Process, Army Staff Deputy Head and General Secretary for the Army, among others. He was promoted to his current rank on March 31, 2000. When named to be Army Commander, he held the position of Military Commander for the Southeast. He was decorated, among other medals, with the Military Merit Order, Naval Merit Order, Air Force Merit Order, Armed Forces Merit Order, Military Judiciary Order, the Rio Branco Order, the Peacemaker Medal, the Tamandare Merit Medal, with the Santos Dumont Merit Medal and, also, with the Amazon Service Medal. He graduated from Escola de Comando e Estado-Maior do Exercito – in Military Science in 1977 and from Escola de Aperfeicoamento de Oficiais – EsAO in Military Science in 1969.

Luciano Galvao Coutinho

 Dr. Luciano Galvao Coutinho has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since April 4, 2008. He is Representative of the Controller. In 1994, he coordinated the Study on the Brazilian Industry's Competitiveness. From 1985 to 1988, he was Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, were he helped structure the Ministry and conceive policies aimed at areas such as biotechnology, information technology, chemistry, precision mechanics, and new materials. He was Visiting Professor at the Universities of Sao Paulo, of Paris XIII, of Texas, and at the Ortega y Gasset Institute, in addition to being full Professor at Unicamp. Before being appointed President of the BNDES, he was Partner at LCA Consultores, where he worked as Specialist Consultant in the defense of competition, in international trade, and prepared technical economic reports. He also serves as Member of the Board of Directors of Petrobras Distribuidora SA. He graduated from Cornell University with a Doctorate in Philosophy in Economics; from Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP) with a Master's in Economics; and from Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP) with a Bachelor's in Economics.

Jorge Gerdau Johannpeter

 Mr. Jorge Gerdau Johannpeter has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since October 19, 2001. He is Representative of Preferred Shareholders. He has been President of the Board of Directors of Gerdau Group since 1983. He is also Coordinator of Acao Empresarial Brasileira, a non-governmental Brazilian organization related to developmental issues, Head of Programa Gaucho da Qualidade e Produtividade - PQGP (Program for Quality and Productivity of the State of Rio Grande do Sul), President of Conselho do Premio Qualidade do Governo Federal (Brazilian Government Quality Prize Council), Member of the Board of Directors of Instituto Brasileiro de Siderurgia (IBS) (Brazilian Steel Institute), and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aco Minas Gerais - Acominas. Josue Christiano Gomes da Silva

 Mr. Josue Christiano Gomes da Silva has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since December 19, 2011. He is President of Companhia de Tecidos Norte de Minas –Coteminas. He is also Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cantagalo General Grains SA and Member of the Board of Directors of Embraer. He also acts as Member of the Board of Instituto de Estudos para o Desenvolvimento Industrial –IEDI, an institution he chaired between 2005 and 2009. He also holds positions at Associacao da Industria Textil e de Confeccao –ABIT, Federacoo das Industrias do Estado de Sao Paulo –FIESP, Textile Manufactures Federation –ITMF and Conselho de Empresarios da America Latina –CEAL, among others. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and from Faculdade Milton Campos with a Bachelor's in Law, as well as from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Civil Engineering.

Marcio Pereira Zimmermann

 Mr. Marcio Pereira Zimmermann has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since March 22, 2010. He also holds the same position at Petrobras Distribuidora SA. He is also Executive Secretary of the Mining and Energy Ministry, where he previously was involved in the energy development area. He acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras—Eletrobras, as well as of Furnas Centrais Eletricas SA. Since February 2009, he has been Member of CNPE. Prior to that, he also held positions at Eletrosul Centrais Eletricas SA and at Centro de Pesquisas de Energia Eletrica—CEPEL. He graduated from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) with a Master’s in Electrical Engineering; from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in Electrical Engineering; and from Universidade Federal de Itajuba in Electrical Engineering.

Sergio Franklin Quintella

 Mr. Sergio Franklin Quintella has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since April 8, 2009. He holds the same position at Petrobras Distribuidora SA. He is also Vice President of Fundacao Getulio Vargas. He acted as Member of the Board of Directors of Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social—BNDES from 1975 to 1980, Member of CMN from 1985 to 1990 and President of Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro from 1993 to 2005. He graduated from IPSOA Scuola di formazione with a Master's in Administration and from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro in Civil Engineering.

Silvio Sinedino Pinheiro

 Mr. Silvio Sinedino Pinheiro has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA since March 19, 2012. He is Employees' Representative. He is a Systems Analyst and has been with the Company for 24 years. He serves in the area of Geophysics Technology Management within the Production and Exploration sector. In addition, he is the President of Associacao dos Engenheiros da Petrobras (Aepet). He acted as a Director of Sindipetro-RJ from 2002 to 2005.
