Biographies

Name Description

John Morgan

Mr. John F. Morgan, Sr., is Independent Chairman of the Board of Plum Creek Timber Company Inc., since May 6, 2009. Mr. Morgan was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company in October 2006. Since 2001, Mr. Morgan has owned and managed Morgan Timber, LLC, a private timberland and real estate management and development company. Since 2009, Mr. Morgan has also owned and managed South Coast Commercial, LLC, a real estate investment firm. Mr. Morgan previously held positions in general banking and public securities investment management at First Orlando Corporation (Sun Trust) from 1969 to 1972, Citizens & Southern Corporation (Bank of America) from 1973 to 1978, and later helped found INVESCO Capital Management, a global money management firm, where he served from 1979 to 2000.

Thomas Lindquist

Mr. Thomas M. Lindquist is President and Chief Operating Officer of Plum Creek Timber Company, Inc. He joined Plum Creek in 2001 after working for Trammell Crow Company where he served as executive vice president. He began his career at Plum Creek in 2001 as executive vice president overseeing the company's real estate segment and later, its timberlands and manufacturing businesses. Lindquist has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer since 2007. In this role, he led the company's business development activities including investments and ventures, federal and state policy, as well as energy and real estate. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration, finance and marketing from the University of Washington and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

Rick Holley

Mr. Rick R. Holley is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Plum Creek Timber Company Inc. Mr. Holley was elected to the Board of Directors of the Company and appointed as its President and Chief Executive Officer on July 01, 1999, the date of Company's conversion from a master limited partnership to a real estate investment trust, or REIT. From 1994 through the date of Company's REIT conversion, Mr. Holley served as a director and president and chief executive officer of the general partner of the former master limited partnership. Mr. Holley also serves on the board of directors of Avista Corporation.

Punke's government experience includes service for the White House National Economic Council, the United States Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Max Baucus of Montana, and Senator Alan Simpson of Wyoming. Punke earned a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from Cornell University.

Robin Josephs

Ms. Robin Josephs is Independent Director of Plum Creek Timber Company Inc., since July 2003. From 2005 to 2007, Ms. Josephs was a managing director of Starwood Capital Group, a private equity firm specializing in real estate investments. From 1986 to 1996, Ms. Josephs was employed as a senior executive with Goldman Sachs where she served in various capacities. Prior to working at Goldman Sachs, Ms. Josephs served as an analyst for Booz Allen & Hamilton, Inc. in New York from 1982 to 1984. Ms. Sara Grootwassink Lewis is Independent Director of Plum Creek Timber Company Inc. She was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company on November 5, 2013. In 2009, Ms. Grootwassink Lewis founded, and is the chief executive officer of, Lewis Corporate Advisors, LLC, a capital markets and board advisory firm. Prior to that, she was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Washington Real Estate Investment Trust Company, an equity real estate investment trust, from 2002 to 2009. Ms. Grootwassink Lewis also serves on the board of directors of CapitalSource, Inc. and PS Business Parks, Inc.

John McDonald

Professor John G. McDonald is Independent Director of Plum Creek Timber Company Inc., since July 01, 1999. Professor McDonald is a Professor of Finance at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University where he has been a faculty member since 1968 and where he holds the Stanford Investors Chair. Professor McDonald also serves as a director of iStar Financial, Inc., QuinStreet, Inc., Scholastic Corp. and thirteen mutual funds managed by Capital Research and Management Company. He was also a director of Varian, Inc. prior to its acquisition during 2010.

Lawrence Selzer

Mr. Lawrence A. Selzer is Independent Director of Plum Creek Timber Company Inc., since February 7, 2012. Since 2001, Mr. Selzer has served as president and chief executive officer of The Conservation Fund, one of the nation’s premiere environmental non-profit organizations. Since 1985, the Fund has protected nearly 7 million acres of wild havens, working lands and vibrant communities across 50 states. Prior to serving in his current position, Selzer led the Fund’s efforts to integrate economic and environmental goals, launching the Fund’s training, leadership and climate programs, mitigation banking efforts and its Natural Capital Investment Fund. He has conducted research on marine mammal and seabird populations for the Manomet Center for Conservation Science. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental studies from Wesleyan University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Virginia. He serves on the boards of the American Bird Conservancy, The Outdoor Foundation and The Sustainable Forestry Initiative; and has previously served on the board of The Wildlife Habitat Council and on the National Academies’ Transportation Research Board.

Stephen Tobias

Mr. Stephen C. Tobias is Independent Director of Plum Creek Timber Company Inc. From May 17 to June 29, 2012, Mr. Tobias served as the interim chief executive officer of Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. Mr. Tobias previously served as the vice chairman and chief operating officer of Norfolk Southern Corporation, a rail transportation company, from 1998 through 2009 and as the vice president of Norfolk Southern Railway Company, a subsidiary of Norfolk Southern Corporation, from 2000 through 2009. He also served as executive vice president-operations of Norfolk Southern Corporation and vice president and chief operating officer of Norfolk Southern Railway Company. Mr. Tobias also served as a director of Norfolk Southern Railway Company and presently serves on the board of directors of Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd.

Martin White

Mr. Martin A. White is Independent Director of Plum Creek Timber Company Inc., since July 2006. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. White served as chairman and chief executive officer of MDU Resources Group, Inc., a diversified natural resource company that provides energy, natural resource products, and related services to both U.S. and international markets. Mr. White served as a Senior Advisor to the Tharaldson School of Business at the University of Mary from 2006 to 2012 and was a director of First Interstate BancSystem, Inc. He is currently the chairman of the board of trustees at the University of Mary and MainLine Management LLC, the general partner of Buckeye GP Holdings L.P.
