Peter Phelan

Mr. Peter Thomas Phelan serves as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board and Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Petrol One Resources Berhad since March 2, 2015. He was Independent Non-Executive Director from October 31, 0211 until March 2, 2015. he holds MBA from Amhurst University, MBA from University of Manchester, Master in History of English Art from Cambridge University and Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Manchester. Prior to 1985, he was a computer programmer, system analysis work primarily in the market research industry and stock broking house Scimgeour Vickers, London. He was an Associate Director at GNI (member of the Gerrard & National Banking Group) (1985-1992), Managing Director at Machado Asset Management (sub of Machado Holdings, New York) (1992-1994), Director and head of Asset Management Division at Banque Credit Agricole (Derivatives), London (1994-1996), Joint Managing Director at Espirito Santo Latin Management (1996-2002) and Managing Director of Skylight Capital (formerly a division of PCS (UK)), London (2002-2010). He currently serves as Principal, Corporate Finance Boutique at North Shore Capital.

Azlan Shairi bin Asidin

Mr. Azlan Shairi bin Asidin serves as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Petrol One Resources Berhad since November 11, 2014. He holds Master in Business Administration from London Business School, University of London. He was the Senior Vice President of Geoscience, Maintenance and Offshore Division and Corporate Business Development Department with one of the leading oil and gas company listed on BURSA. Mr. Azlan has also held several senior and leadership position for many other oil and gas companies, where he has gained knowledge and experience on the value chain of EPCC for the oil and gas industry. Mr. Azlan is also actively engaged in many other advisory role and in giving talks and seminars to oil and gas companies in the oil and gas industry.

Seng Loong Sim

Wei Hong Lee

Mr. Lee Wei Hong has been Executive Director of Petrol One Resources Berhad since May 21, 2009. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronic from Nanyang Technological University. Mr. Lee started his career in 1996 with Hewlett Packard South Asia in the operations and supply chain management where he managed HP contract manufacturers in the Asean region. In 2001, Mr. Lee joined the telecommunication industry with stints in Hutchison Group in Malaysia. Subsequently, he established his own satellite communications company and had gained in depth logistic operations experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently, he is primarily responsible for the Group operations.

Ms. Chua Siew Chuan has been Secretary of Petrol One Resources Berhad since October 17, 2011. She is Fellow of the Malaysian Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Pek Tho Siew

Datuk Siew Pek Tho serves as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Petrol One Resources Berhad since March 2, 2015. He served as Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board from December 31, 2013 until March 2, 2015. He is a Chartered Accountant (Australia) since 1997. he holds Bachelor of Business from University of Technology, Sydney in 1995 and Master of Business from the same university in 1998. Datuk Siew worked at KPMG Australian Services Pty Ltd. (“KPMG Australia”) in Australia from July 1996 to May 1998 and at KPMG Tax Services Sdn Bhd (“KPMG Malaysia”) in Malaysia from June 1998 to June 2000. His last position with each of KPMG Australia and KPMG Malaysia was tax consultant. Datuk Siew had joined Hang Huo Macau since July 2000 as its chief financial officer. Since the establishment of Hang Huo International, the then indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Hang Huo Macau and the owner of Link Hotel, in May 2004, Datuk Siew has been responsible for the financial management and administration of Link Hotel.

Ahmad Nainy bin Mokhtar

Mr. Ahmad Nainy bin Mokhtar serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Petrol One Resources Berhad since February 6, 2015. He holds Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) of University of Adelaide, South Australia. He was appointed as the Project Manager of Vitol Tank Terminal International (VTTI) in Rotterdam from year 2007 to 2010 and was appointed as a Commercial Director of ATT Tanjung Bin Sdn. Bhd. He has also acted as a Director for VTTI Asia Pte Ltd (100% owned by VTTI BV) in Singapore from year 2012 to January 2015. He is currently a Commercial and Technical Advisor of 3iC Sdn. Bhd.

Kean Cheong Lee

Mr. Lee Kean Cheong has been Independent Non-Executive Director of Petrol One Resources Berhad since November 9, 2011. He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee, and a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Company. Mr. Lee graduated with a Master of Commerce (Management Accounting), from University of New South Wales, Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce, from Murdoch University, Australia. He is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Australia and The Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (IIAM). He started his career with Ernst & Young, and later moved to commercial sector in the main board of public listed company and a multinational corporation. For over 20 years, he has board based in business and finance experience, and also held various leadership roles in managerial positions. Currently, Mr. Lee is the Vice President of Chrysalis Group, a venture capital management company, and also the Partner of management consultancy firm. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Teo Guan Lee Corporation Berhad as well as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of D.B.E. Gurney Resources Berhad, both listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

Su Heng Lim

Mr. Lim (Chris) Su Heng serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Petrol One Resources Berhad since March 2, 2015. Chris holds a Bachelor of Civil Laws (Masters) degree from University of Oxford where he read his postgraduate law degree at The Kings Hall and College of Brasenose (BNC). He also read law at Bristol University under a British High Commissioner’s Chevening Scholarship awarded to him by the British Council and an Overseas Student Scholarship awarded by Bristol University. He received his secondary education at Raffles Institution, Singapore, under an ASEAN Secondary Scholarship from the Singapore Ministry of Education and read his A-Levels at Reffles Junior College under an ASEAN Pre-University Scholarship from the Singapore Public Service Commission. Mr. Chris Lim started legal practice in Malaysia in year 1997. He has acted for most of the investment banks in Malaysia on a number of different corporate finance transactions. He joined Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong as an associate in year 2000. In year 2003, he was head hunted to serve as a Counsel for Hong Kong Disneyland. He also took up a position as a Consultant at a boutique Hong Kong law firm specializing in China focused corporate advisory work. In year 2006, he was appointed as a General Counsel of the world’s largest online gaming company, in charge of all corporate and legal affairs, travelling between Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore and the Philippines. He then moved back to Malaysia and assumed the position of Managing Partner of Ting & Partners in October 2008. The name of the firm was changed in year 2009 and again in year 2013 to better reflect its ownership. He is currently a partner of Messrs. Chris Lim Su Heng.
