Name Description

Francis Gugen

Mr. Francis Gugen has served as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since May 2009. He joined the Board in 2003. He is active as Consultant and Investor in the Energy industry. In the past he worked for Amerada Hess Corporation for 18 years (1982-2000) and held such roles as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amerada Hess UK from 1995 to 2000, and as CEO of Amerada Hess for North West Europe from 1998 to 2000. His board positions at listed companies include Board Chairman of IGas Energy Plc and Board Member of SBM Offshore NV. Apart from this, he acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Investor at a number of privately held companies and as IGas Energy investor. Mr. Gugen is United Kingdom Chartered Accountant and has worked for Arthur Andersen.

Jon Reinhardsen

Mr. Jon Erik Reinhardsen has served as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since April 2008. Prior to joining the Company, he was Alcoa's President for Global Growth and Primary Products. He joined Aloca from Aker Solutions ASA, where he was Group Executive Vice President in Houston, Texas. Earlier in his career, he led the Aker Maritime ASA product business in Norway and Aker’s seismic venture Aker Geo that was later sold to CGG. Mr. Reinhardsen has board experience from Cameron, Hoegh Autoliners Holdings AS and Hoegh LNG Holdings Ltd. He also serves as Board Member of Awilhelmsen Management AS. Mr. Reinhardsen obtained a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Geophysics from Universitetet i Bergen, Norway. Additionally, he completed International Executive Program in 1991 at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Harald Norvik

Mr. Harald Norvik has served as Independent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since 2009, and he has been Independent Member of the Company's Board since 2003. He also chairs the Company's Audit Committee. Mr. Norvik is Independent Advisor and Consultant. He serves as Chairman of the Boards of Directors of Aschehoug Publishing House, and Member of the Boards of ConocoPhillips Inc, Deep Ocean Holding and Umoe. In the past he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Statoil from 1988 to 1999, and Finance Director and Member of the Executive Board of the Aker Group (from 1981 to 1988). Prior to that, he served as Personal Secretary to the Prime Minister of Norway and as State Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy from 1979 to 1981. He received his Master of Science degree in Business from Norges Handelshoyskole, Bergen - NHH (Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration).

Gottfred Langseth

Mr. Gottfred Langseth has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since January 1, 2004. He joined the Company in November 2003. Prior to this he was CFO of Ementor ASA from 2000 to 2003 and Senior Vice President of Finance and Control at Aker Maritime ASA from 1997 to 2000. In the past he also worked at Arthur Andersen Norway from 1991 to 1997. He was certified as Norwegian State Authorized Public Accountant (CPA) in 1993. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from Norges Handelshoyskole, Bergen - NHH (Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration).

Magne Reiersgard

Mr. Magne Reiersgard serves as Executive Vice President, Operations, at Petroleum Geo-Services ASA. He joined the Company at its inception in 1990/91, and has since held a number of executive positions within the Group, including Vice President of Marine Acquisition, President of the Marine Geophysical Asia Pacific Region in Singapore, and most recently President of the Marine Geophysical NSA Region in Houston. Prior to joining the Company, he held various Management positions in the Survey Division of Geoteam AS. Mr. Reiersgard serves on the Board of Directors of IAGC (International Association of Geophysical Contractors) and was its Chairman between 2006 and 2007. He is also Board member of the not-for-profit Society of Exploration Geophysics (SEG) Foundation. He holds an Electronics degree from Agder University College in Grimstad, Norway, and a Business degree from Handelshoyskolen BI (BI Norwegian Business School).

Guillaume Cambois

Mr. Guillaume Cambois serves as Executive Vice President, Data Processing and Technology at Petroleum Geo-Services ASA (PGS). He joined the Company in 2007 as Senior Advisor for Spearheading Deployment at PGS’ GeoStreamer Technology. From March 2009, he acted as Marine President for Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining the Company, he spent 20 years within the CGGVeritas, at which he held various Management positions, including Executive Vice President for Data Processing and Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Cambois is an active member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, where he served as Vice President in 2007/2008. He received his Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Geophysics from the University of Texas in Austin.

Per Reksnes

Mr. Per Arild Reksnes has served as Executive Vice President for Marine Contract at Petroleum Geo-Services ASA (PGS) since April 2010. He was initially Chief of the New Ventures area, then headed Marine Contract. From 2007 until 2010, he was PGS Marine’s President for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and CIS. His job titles at the Company have included President for Technology, Vice President for Profiling and Marketing, and Vice President for Technical Marketing. He joined the Company in 2001 from his position as Chief Geophysics Professional at Norsk Hydro. During 16 years at Norsk Hydro, he held several Geophysical and Management positions. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Geophysics from Universitet i Oslo (University of Oslo), and a Master’s degree in Technology Management from MIT/NTH (Massachusetts Institute of Technology/ currently Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet - NTNU, Norwegian University of Science and Technology).

Sverre Strandenes

Mr. Sverre Strandenes has served as Executive Vice President for MultiClient at Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since May 1, 2010. Previously, he was Group President for Data Processing and Technology at the Company from November 2006. He also held several Senior Management positions at the Company such as President of Marine Geophysical EAME Region (Europe, Africa and Middle East). Prior to joining the Company in 1995, he was Geosciences Department Manager at Norsk Hydro Research Center. He received his Master of Science degree in Geophysics from Universitet i Bergen (University of Bergen) in 1981.

Ms. Anne-Grethe Dalane has been Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Geo Services ASA since November 21, 2013. She has been with Yara International ASA since 2003, currently as Business Process Owner, Sales. She has formerly held positions as Business Unit Manager, Yara Latin America, Buenos Aires and Chief HR Officer, Yara International ASA. She has held various positions in Norsk Hydro, including Head of Human Resources Oil & Energy and Chief Financial Officer Hydro Exploration and Production. She has served on the Board of Directors of several Norwegian companies including Hafslund ASA and EDB Business Partner ASA. She is a Certified Financial Analyst and holds a Master’s degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen, Norway.

Walter Qvam

Mr. Walter Qvam has been Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Geo Services ASA since November 21, 2013. He has over 30 years of experience from executive positions in the global shipping, oil and gas, Information Technology (IT) and defense businesses. He is presently President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kongsberg Gruppen ASA. He is also Chairman of the Council at Det Norske Veritas (DNV). He has earlier in his career held various positions in Det Norske Veritas including President and CEO of Veritec (oil & gas technology) and President of DNV Industry. He has held various positions in the global IT group CapGemini, Vice President North Europe and Asia Pacific, and Chairman/CEO of CapGemini Norway as well as CEO/Gemini Consulting, Nordic & Baltics.

Carol Bell

Dr. Carol Bell has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since 2009. She is also Member of the Company's Audit Committee. Dr. Bell has over 30 years of experience in the Energy industry, with particular emphasis on Investment and Financing in the Oil and Gas sectors. She is Non-Executive Director of Salamander Energy plc and Member of the Board of Det norske oljeselskap ASA. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Griffiths Energy International Inc and GeoVS Ltd, and Member of the Investment Advisory Committee of Gemini Oil and Gas. She is Member of the Authority that governs the Welsh-language television channel S4C and is chair of the Investment Committee of Girton College, Cambridge University. In the past she held senior positions in Investment Banking, including Managing Director of the Global Oil and Gas Group at Chase Manhattan Bank, Head of the European Equity Research at JPMorgan, and Global Head of its Oil and Gas Equity Research Team. She began her career in Corporate Planning and Development with RT Z Oil and Gas, and later worked at Charterhouse Petroleum plc. Dr. Bell is Honorary Treasurer of the British School in Athens. She was educated as Scientist, earning a Master of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Cambridge University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from the Open University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Archaeology from University College London in 2005.

Annette Malm Justad

Ms. Annette Malm Justad has been Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since May 2008. She also serves as Member of the Company's Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee. She also serves as Independent Consultant. Ms. Malm Justad is a former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eitzen Maritime Services. In the past she also served as Vice President and Head of Purchasing at Yara International ASA and as Vice President and Fleet Manager at Norgas Carriers AS, and held various Technical and Commercial positions within Norsk Hydro ASA. Ms. Malm Justad is Chairman of American Shipping Company and Store Norske Spitsbergen, and Board Member of Awilco. She holds a Master's degree in Technology Management from MIT/NTH (Massachusetts Institute of Technology / Norges Tekniske Hoyskole, now Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet - NTNU), as well as a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from NTH (Norges Tekniske Hoyskole, now Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet - NTNU).

Daniel Piette

Mr. Daniel (Dan) J. Piette has been Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since 2007. He also serves as Member of the Company's Audit Committee. He also serves as is Executive Chairman of TerraSpark Geosciences. Mr. Piette previously was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Member of the Board of Directors at Object Reservoir. Formerly he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of OpenSpirit Corporation from 2003 to 2011. His other executive positions within the Oil and Gas industry include Business Unit Manager for Land Acquisition Systems Group at Input/Output, President and CEO of Bell Geospace, and Vice President and General Manager of the Asia Pacific region for Landmark Graphics. Mr. Piette holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Mining Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Madison (1980).

Ingar Skaug

Mr. Ingar Skaug has been Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since 2009. He also serves as Member of the Company’s Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Skaug is a former Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Maritime Industrial Group Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA (2003-2010). He was appointed to this position after having served in several senior management positions within the group since 1990. Previously, he was Vice President and Deputy Chief Operating Officer of SAS Airlines. Mr. Skaug is Member of the Board of Directors of DFDS AS, Miros and travel bureau Berg-Hansen. He also chairs the Boards of Bery Maritime AS and Ragni Invest AS, and serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at J. Lauritzen AS. He is also Chairman of the Center for Creative Leadership. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nurnberg (University of Nurnberg) in Germany.

Holly Van Deursen

Ms. Holly Van Deursen has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors at Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since June 2006. She is also Chairman of the Company's Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee. Ms. Van Deursen holds Non-Executive Director positions with Petroleum Geo-Services, Bemis Company, Inc., Actuant Corporation, Capstone Turbine Corporation and Anson Industries, Inc. Formerly she served on BP plc’s Top-Forty Executive Team as Group Vice President for Petrochemicals from 2003 to 2005, and as Group Vice President for Strategy from 2001 to 2003. Prior to this, she held a variety of senior positions within BP and Amoco in Chicago, London, and Hong Kong. She served on the Boards of Directors of the American Chemistry Council and Amoco’s joint ventures in Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. Ms. Van Deursen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
