Rahadian Mahmud bin Mohammad Khalil

Y. Bhg. Dato' Rahadian Mahmud bin Mohammad Khalil is the Executive Chairman of the Board of Permaju Industries Berhad. He was appointed to the Board on January 7, 2005 and has been Chairman and Executive Chairman of the Company since May 24, 2005. He is actively involved in the reforestation business as well as the construction and manufacturing sectors and is also well versed in the timber industry. He also sits on the Boards of KYM Holdings Berhad, Sanbumi Holdings Berhad and Magna Prima Berhad.

Chin Leong Chuk

Mr. Chuk Chin Leong serves as Chief Financial Officer of Permaju Industries Berhad. He was appointed on April 26, 2013. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance from Curtin University of Technology, Australia. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and CPA, Australia (CPA). He has an experience of seven years with an audit firm and has worked in the supermarket industry for two years. He has been in the property development industry since 2006.

Y. Bhg. Dato' Chua Tiong Moon is Managing Director and Executive Director of Permaju Industries Berhad. Dato' Chua Tiong Moon has completed his secondary education. Dato' Chua Tiong Moon is a businessman and has been involved in the timber industry for over 35 years with experience in timber extraction, sawmilling and plywood operations. He also has vast experience in financial and operational management of companies involved in property development, manufacturing and quarry business. He also sits on the Board of several other private limited companies. He is also the Managing Director of Sanbumi Holdings Berhad.

Woon Yun Chai

Ms. Chai Woon Yun serves as Executive Director of Permaju Industries Berhad. She was appointed on February 24, 2014. She holds Certificate IV in Fashion and Textiles Merchandising (RMIT University), Certificate IV in Clothing Production (RMIT University) and Advanced Diploma in Fashion Marketing & Management (RMIT University). She began her career in the fashion clothing industry. In 2007 she joined one of the Company’s subsidiaries in the automobile division as Operations Manager and was subsequently promoted to be the Managing Director of several of the Company’s subsidiaries in the automobile division. Brig. Gen. (Retd.) Datuk Muhamad Yasin bin Yahya is a Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Permaju Industries Berhad. He was appointed on the board on June 29, 2004. Brig. General (Ret.) Datuk Muhamad Yasin bin Yahya joined the military service in 1970 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Royal Malay Regiment in 1971. He served as a Special Forces Officer and received training locally as well as in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. He is a graduate of the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College and the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College. During his military career he held a variety of command and staff positions and also served as a United Nations Military Observer in the Iran-Iraq border under UNIIMOG Mission. He is also a Director of ETI Tech Corporation Berhad.

Yew Kong Chang

Mr. Chang Yew Kong is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Permaju Industries Berhad. He was appointed on March 2, 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Accountancy) degree from the City of London Polytechnic (now London Metropolitan University). He spent more than 10 years working with a leading financial institution where he rose to the rank of Senior Manager in corporate loans and has vast experience in areas of loan documentation, financing and marketing of consumer and corporate loans.

Caw Cing Lee

Mr. Lee Caw Cing is Independent Non-Executive Director of Permaju Industries Berhad. He was appointed on August 9, 2012. He is also a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees and chairman of Nomination Committee. Lee Caw Cing graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer System Information from Arizona State University, United States of America. He started his career as an analyst programmer with an IT firm. Subsequently, he joined a public listed company as a technical consultant to provide consultancy and project management for Disaster Recovery Program projects. Thereafter, he joined an International ERP solution provider to manage project development including customization and he was responsible for pre-sales technical supports and products business process flow. Presently, he is the Director of Sales & Marketing in Era Baru Sdn Bhd where he is responsible for the overall sales and marketing aspects of all developments in the Era Baru Group.

Teng Lum Low

Mr. Low Teng Lum serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Permaju Industries Berhad since November 28, 2014. He has qualifications from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, both of the United Kingdom, in 1977. He attended the Applied Management Program of Swedish Institute of Management in 1990. In 1996, he obtained his Master in Public Administration from the John Fitzgerald Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) and an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and the Association of Corporate Treasurers, United Kingdom. He is also a member of the Malaysian Alliance of Corporate Directors and its training faculty. He has been a member of the Taxation and Trade committees of the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2002 and 2005 respectively. He was a founding committee member of the Confederation of Malaysian Brewers. Over the course of Mr Low's career, he has held various accounting and financial positions in Arthur Young & Company (presently known as Ernst & Young), Guthrie Malaysia Holdings Berhad, Palmco Holdings Berhad, Guiness Anchor Berhad and General Corporation Berhad. During his 14 year tenure with Southern Steel Berhad, he was promoted from Finance Manager to General Manager (Commercial), Senior General Manager (Rod Division) and Chief Operating Officer (Steel Business Unit). He retired from Guinness Anchor Berhad in April 2011, as both the Finance Director and member of the Board of Directors, after 10 years of service. He has served on the board of Boilermech Holdings Berhad.
