Johnson, David Mr. David D. Johnson is Executive Chairman of the Board of Progress Energy Resources Corp. Prior to that he was our President and Chief Executive Officer from July 2004 to January 2009. Prior to this, Mr. Johnson was the President and Chief Executive Officer of PEL from November 2001 to July 2004 and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Encal Energy Ltd. from July 1994 to April 2001. Mr. Johnson has over thirty years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry including a background in production, reservoir evaluation and operations. He has a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum as well as the Association of Engineers, Geologists and Geophysics of Alberta and has served twice as a Governor of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
Culbert, Michael Mr. Michael R. Culbert is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Progress Energy Resources Corp. Prior to that he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of PEL from July 2004 to January 2009. Prior to this, Mr. Culbert was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of PEL from November 2001 to July 2004 and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Encal Energy Ltd. From 1995 to October 2001. Mr. Culbert holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and has over twenty five years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry including a background in marketing, business development, and economics and planning.
MacNichol, Arthur Mr. Arthur A. MacNichol is Chief Financial Officer, Vice President - Finance of Progress Energy Resources Corp. He was the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Calpine Natural Gas Trust from August 2003 to June 2004. Prior thereto, Mr. Art MacNichol was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Calpine Corporation's power and oil and gas operations in Canada and also held the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Calpine Power Ltd., manager of Calpine Power Income Fund. Mr. MacNichol held various positions with Encal Energy Ltd. from 1993 to April 2001 including that of Controller and Treasurer.

Miller, Gary Mr. Gary A. Miller is Vice President - Operations of Progress Energy Resources Corp. He held the position of Director of Operations from May 2007 to February 2008, Manager, Operations from May 2005 to May 2007 and Manager, Production from July 2004 to May 2005 at Progress Energy. Mr. Miller was Production Superintendent, Qatar Petroleum form May 2001 to June 2004.
Kist, Greg Mr. Greg W. Kist is Vice President - Investor Relations and Marketing of Progress Energy Resources Corp. He was Manager, Investor Relations for EnCana Corporation from April 2002 to June 2004 and prior to that was Manager, Corporate Relations for Alberta Energy Company Ltd. Mr. Perron is a Managing Director & Senior Vice President with BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and has provided investment advisory services for more than 28 years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Honours) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Mr. Perron is Chairman of the Advisory Committee for the Norrep Group of funds which currently manages six public funds and four limited partnerships.
Svarich, Terrance Mr. Terrance D. Svarich is Director of Progress Energy Resources Corp. Mr. Svarich has been President of Devsun Ltd., a private investment company, for the past six years. For ten years prior to this, Mr. Savarich was the President of a number of oil and gas companies in Calgary and he has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Svarich has a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) Degree. Mr. Svarich also serves as a director of Yoho Resources Inc., a TSX Venture listed energy company.
Archibald, Donald Mr. Donald F. Archibald is Director of Progress Energy Resources Corp. He has been an independent businessman since March 2008. Prior to this Mr. Archibald was the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Cyries Energy Inc. from July 2004 to March 2008. Mr. Archibald was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cequel Energy Inc. from January 2002 to July 2004 and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cypress Energy Inc. from 1995 to March 2001. He has considerable public company experience and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Masters of Business Administration.
Brussa, John John A. Brussa is Director of Progress Energy Resources Corp. He is a partner of Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP since 1987 and is presently the head of its Tax Department. Mr. Brussa received his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Windsor in 1981 and currently serves as a director of a number of publicly listed resource corporations, a mutual fund trust and investment dealer and several non-profit or charitable organizations.
Crone, Howard Mr. Howard J. Crone is Director of Progress Energy Resources Corp. He has been an independent businessman since July 2004. Prior to this Mr. Crone was Vice President, Corporate Development and Chief Operating Officer of Cequel Energy Inc. from August 2003 to July 2004 and prior thereto was Vice President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer of Cequel Energy Inc. from January 2002 to August 2003. Prior thereto Mr. Crone was Vice President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer of Cypress Energy Inc. from 1995 to March 2001.
