Mr. John R. Strangfeld is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Financial Inc. Mr. Strangfeld was elected Chairman of Prudential Financial in May 2008 and has served as Chief Executive Officer, President and Director since January 2008. He is a member of the Office of the Chairman and served as Vice Chairman of Prudential Financial from August 2002 to December 2007. He was Executive Vice President of Prudential Financial from February 2001 to August 2002.
