Name Description

John Strangfeld

Mr. John R. Strangfeld is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Financial, Inc. Mr. Strangfeld was elected Chairman of Prudential Financial in May 2008 and has served as Chief Executive Officer, President and Director since January 2008. He is a member of the Office of the Chairman and served as Vice Chairman of Prudential Financial from August 2002 to December 2007. He was Executive Vice President of Prudential Financial from February 2001 to August 2002. He served as Chief Executive Officer, Prudential Investment Management of Prudential Insurance from October 1998 until April 2002 and Chairman of the Board and CEO of Prudential Securities (renamed Prudential Equity Group, LLC) from December 2000 to April 2008. He has been with Prudential since July 1977, serving in various management positions, including Senior Managing Director, The Private Asset Management Group from 1995 to 1998; and Chairman, PRICOA Capital Group (London) Europe from 1989 to 1995.

Mark Grier

Mr. Mark B. Grier is Vice Chairman of the Board of Prudential Financial, Inc. He served as a director of Prudential Financial from December 1999 to January 2001, Executive Vice President from December 2000 to August 2002 and as Vice President of Prudential Financial from January 2000 to December 2000. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Prudential Insurance from May 1995 to June 1997. Robert Falzon

Mr. Falzon was elected Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Prudential Financial and Prudential Insurance in March 2013. Charles Lowrey

Mr. Charles F. Lowrey has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer - International Businesses of Prudential Financial, Inc., effective April 4, 2014. Mr. Lowrey was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, U.S. Businesses, in February 2011. He was elected a Senior Vice President of the Company and became President and Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Investment Management (PIM), the Company’s investment management business, in January, 2008. Previously, Mr. Lowrey was Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Real Estate Investors, the Company’s real estate investment management and advisory business. He joined the Company in March 2001. Before joining the Company, he was a Managing Director and Head of the Americas for J.P. Morgan’s Real Estate and Lodging Investment Banking group. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Mr. Lowrey was a managing partner of an architecture and development firm he founded in New York City. During that time, he became a registered New York architect. Lowrey received an MBA degree from Harvard University, an MA degree in architecture from Yale University, and an AB degree in architecture from Princeton University.

Stephen Pelletier

Mr. Stephen P. Pelletier has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer - U.S. Businesses of Prudential Financial, Inc., effective April 4, 2014. Mr. Pelletier is currently Chief Executive Officer of the Company’s Group Insurance business, including Group Life, Disability and Group Nonqualified Benefit Funding programs. Previously, he was President of Prudential Annuities. Prior to his role in Annuities, he served as Chairman and CEO of Prudential International Investments. Mr. Pelletier has also held several other leadership roles in the U.S. and around the world since joining the Company in 1992. He was elected a Senior Vice President of the Company in October 2006. He received a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.A. from Yale University.

Scott Sleyster

Mr. Scott G. Sleyster is Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer of Prudential Financial, Inc. Mr. Sleyster was elected Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Prudential Insurance and Prudential Financial in May 2012 and February 2013, respectively. Mr. Sleyster has been with Prudential since 1987, serving in a variety of positions, including head of Prudential’s Full Service Retirement business, president of Prudential’s Guaranteed Products business, chief financial officer for Prudential’s Employee Benefits Division, and has held roles in Prudential’s Treasury, Derivatives and Investment Management units.

Barbara Koster

Ms. Barbara G. Koster is Senior Vice President - Operations and Systems, Chief Information Officer of Prudential Financial, Inc. She has been a Senior Vice President of Prudential Insurance Company of America since February 2004. Ms. Koster joined Prudential in November 1995 as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Individual Life Insurance Systems and was appointed as the Chief Information Officer of Prudential in 2004. Prior to joining Prudential, Ms. Koster held several positions with Chase Manhattan Bank, including that of President of Chase Access Services.

Ms. Sharon C. Taylor is Senior Vice President - Human Resources of Prudential Financial, Inc. She serves as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Prudential Insurance and the Chair of The Prudential Foundation. Richard Lambert

Mr. Richard F. Lambert is Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary of Prudential Financial, Inc. Mr. Lambert has been with Prudential since 1978, serving in various positions including Vice President and Actuary in Prudential’s domestic individual life insurance business from 1996 to 2004 and Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary of Prudential’s International Insurance division from 2004 to 2012.

James Cullen

Previously, he served as Co-Founder and President of RLJ Development, LLC (RLJ Lodging’s predecessor company) from 2000 to May 2011. Gordon Bethune

Mr. Gordon M. Bethune is an Independent Director of Prudential Financial, Inc. Mr. Bethune has been Managing Director of g-b1 Partners (a travel advisory firm) since January 2005. He was Chairman and CEO of Continental Airlines, Inc. from 1996 until his retirement in December 2004. Mr. Krapek served as the President and COO of United Technologies Corporation (a diversified aerospace and industrial products company) from 1999 until his retirement in January 2002. Christine Poon

Ms. Christine A. Poon is an Independent Director of Prudential Financial, Inc. Ms. Poon has served as Dean of Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University since May 2009. She served as Vice Chairman and a Member of the Board of Directors of Johnson & Johnson (a global healthcare products and services company) from 2005 until her retirement in March 2009. Ms. Poon joined Johnson & Johnson in 2000 as Company Group Chair in the Pharmaceuticals Group. She became a Member of Johnson & Johnson’s Executive Committee and Worldwide Chair, Pharmaceuticals Group, in 2001, and served as Worldwide Chair, Medicines and Nutritionals, from 2003 to 2005. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, she served in various management positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb (a global biopharmaceutical company) for 15 years.

Douglas Scovanner

Mr. Douglas A. Scovanner is an Independent Director of Prudential Financial, Inc. Mr. Scovanner has been the Founder and Managing Member of Comprehensive Financial Strategies, LLC, a management consulting firm, since October 2013. Executive Vice President of Finance and Accounting, on an interim basis, of Hudson’s Bay Company. Previously, he served as the CFO (1994 to 2012) and Executive Vice President (2000 to 2012) of the Target Corporation (a North American retailer). Prior to joining the Target Corporation, Mr. Scovanner held various management positions at The Fleming Companies, Inc., Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc., The Coca-Cola Company and the Ford Motor Company from 1979 to 1994. Mr. Scovanner earned an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business and a bachelor's degree from Washington and Lee University.

James Unruh

Mr. James A. Unruh is an Independent Director of Prudential Financial, Inc. Mr. Unruh became a founding Member of Alerion Capital Group, LLC (a private equity investment group) in 1998. Mr. Unruh was with Unisys Corporation (a global information technology consulting services and solutions company) from 1987 to 1997, serving as its Chairman and CEO from 1990 to 1997. He also held executive positions with financial management responsibility, including serving as Senior Vice President, Finance, Burroughs Corporation (a business equipment manufacturer), from 1982 to 1987. In addition, Mr. Unruh serves as a director of several privately held companies in connection with his position at Alerion Capital Group, LLC.
