Biographies

Name Description

Elisabeth Badinter

Ms. Elisabeth Badinter has served as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe SA since April 29, 1996. She also was Member of the Compensation Committee until March 8, 2011. She is Chairperson of the Company's Appointment Committee and Member of the Strategic and Risk Committee. She was first appointed to the Supervisory Board on November 27, 1987. She is a philosopher and writer and was a lecturer at Ecole Polytechnique. She is currently also Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Medias & Regies Europe SA and Chairperson of Fondation Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet pour la Vocation.

Maurice Levy

Mr. Maurice Levy has served as Chairman of the Management Board, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Executive Committee of Publicis Groupe SA since November 27, 1987. He joined the Company in 1971 and was resposible for data processing and information technology systems. He was successively appointed General Secretary in 1973, Managing Director in 1977 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Publicis Conseil in 1981. Jean-Yves Naouri

He served as Executive Vice President - Group Operations from 2006 until July 1, 2010. In 2004, he was named Executive Vice President of Publicis Groupe, responsible for the Horizon program, a strategic plan to streamline the Company’s organization. Anne-Gabrielle Heilbronner

Ms. Anne-Gabrielle Heilbronner serves at Publicis Groupe SA as Senior Vice President - Compliance and Legal, Human Resources and General Secretary since April 25, 2013. She worked previously at the Company as Senior Vice President of Compliance and Legal since April 26, 2012. She is Member of the Company's Strategic Leadership Team. She is also in charge of internal audit and risk. She is a graduate of Paris business school ESCP and Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. She is also an alumna of ENA (Ecole Nationale d’Administration, Rene Char Promotion). She began her career at the Inspection Generale des Finances in 1995, before moving to the French Treasury in 1999. In 2000, she joined Euris/Rallye as Global Head of Corporate Finance. Between 2004 and 2007, she was successively appointed Cabinet Director of the State Secretary for Reform, and Special Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of international economic and financial affairs and corporate relations. Ms. Heilbronner was Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management at SNCF (French railways) between 2007 and 2010, and then joined Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking as Managing Director and Senior Banker in charge of a client portfolio of French companies.

Elisabeth Ardaillon-Poirier

Ms. Elisabeth Ardaillon-Poirier was appointed as Senior Vice President of Publicis Groupe effective from May 2013. She will oversee the Company's communications, and corporate social responsibility and sustainable development policies. She will also coordinate and oversee the communications of the main subsidiaries at global level. Ms. Ardaillon-Poirier works as Adviser to the Executive Board of the European Central Bank, after being the ECB's Director Communications for over nine years and Chairman of the External Communications Committee of the network comprised of the 27 central banks in the European System of Central Banks and the 17 central banks of the Euro Zone (2003-2012). Prior to that, she was notably Special Adviser (Press and parliament) to the private office of Minister Jean-Francois Deniau (1978-1981), then Director of Development with the Bernard Krief Consulting Group (1981-1983), Head of Corporate Communications at the St. Gobain group (1983-1986), then at the Hachette multimedia group (1986-1993), with special emphasis on international operations. She subsequently became first Managing Director of the Hachette Foundation which was later renamed Fondation Jean-Luc Lagardere (1989-1993). She was appointed Director Communications of Banque de France (1994-2003) and then Member of the ECB's External Communications Committee (1998-2003). Ms. Ardaillon-Poirier is a graduate of Centre d'Etudes Litteraires & Scientifiques Appliquees-CELSA (Advanced School of Information and Communication Sciences), and holds a Masters degree in Arts and English from La Sorbonne University. Her awards include France's Officier de la Legion d'Honneur and Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Merite.

Jean-Marie Pivard

Mr. Jean-Marie Pivard has been Director of Internal Audit and Risk Management at Publicis Groupe SA since September 23, 2013. He is also responsible for the supervision of Internal Control. Having graduated from ESCP with a DEC (Diplome d'Expertise Comptable), in addition to the CIA diploma (Certified Internal Auditor) and CRMA (Certification in Risk Management), he began his career at Ernst & Young. There he acquired experience in auditing (1990-2004) both in France and abroad. In 2004, he integrated Groupe Lafarge as Corporate Deputy Vice President of Internal Audit. Ms. Celine Fronval has been Legal Director at Publicis Groupe SA since October 29, 2012. She started her career in 1992 at Alcatel. Daniele Bessis

Ms. Daniele Bessis has been Chief Executive Officer of Resources Division of Publicis Groupe SA since June 28, 2010. She manages the United States, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions. Ms. Bessis started her career in 1988 as technical advisor to Roger Fauroux, theFrench Minister of Industry. Later, she was in charge of M&A in the Pechiney Group from 1989 to 1990. Charlotte Duthoo

Ms. Charlotte Duthoo has been Chief Procurement Officer at Publicis Groupe SA since 2007. She is a Member of the Company's Strategic Leadership Team. She joined the Company after after five years of management consulting with McKinsey & Company. She has also been supervising Real Estate and Insurance since 2011. In the late 1990s worked as a specialist in corporate communications with Publicis Consultants. A graduate from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris and of the ESSEC business school, she holds a Masters in Law.

Stephane Estryn

Mr. Stephane Estryn has been Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at Publicis Groupe SA since April 4, 2013. He joined the Company in 2004 as an Associate Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions department. From 2000 to 2003, he was Vice President of the Paris-based investment bank NetsCapital, in charge of raising funds and acting as M&A advisor in the sector of new technologies and media. Laura Desmond

Ms. Laura Desmond is Chief Executive Officer of Starcom MediaVest Group and Member of the Executive Committee of Publicis Groupe SA. Olivier Fleurot

Mr. Olivier Fleurot is Chief Executive Officer of MSL Group and Member of the Executive Committee of Publicis Groupe SA. From 1999 to 2006 he was with the Financial Times Group in London, first as Managing Director of the newspaper, then as CEO of the FT Group. He joined Publicis Groupe in 2006 as Executive Chairman of Publicis Worldwide. Since the end of 2009 he has been the CEO of MSLGROUP, the global PR network that includes MSL, Publicis Consultants and Publicis Events networks.

Steve King

Mr. Steve King serves as Chief Executive Officer ZenithOptimedia Worldwide and Member of the Executive Committee of Publicis Groupe SA. Before becoming CEO of Zenith Media Europe, Middle East and Africa, in August 1997, he was appointed director of TV buying. He was made Deputy Managing Director in 1992 and Managing Director in 1993. Following the creation of ZenithOptimedia in October 2001, he was appointed Chief Executive of ZenithOptimedia EMEA and subsequently Worldwide CEO in March 2004.

Bob Lord

Mr. Bob Lord has served as Chief Executive Officer of Razorfish and Member of the Executive Committee of Publicis Groupe SA since December 1, 2011. Mr. Lord joined the agency in 2000 and was named CEO in 2009. Before joining Razorfish, he served as the COO and Executive Vice President of Prism Rehab Systems, and spent four years as a partner consultant with Symmetrix, Inc. Arthur Sadoun

Jean Charest

Mr. Jean Charest has been a Member of the Supervisory Board at Publicis Groupe SA since May 29, 2013. He is a Partner at McCarthy Tetrault LLP, Former Prime Minister of Quebec and Member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada. Trained as a lawyer, he embraced a career in politics early on. He was first elected to the House of Commons in 1984 and, at age 28, became the youngest cabinet member in Canadian history as Minister of State for Youth. Mr. Charest held several ministerial posts, including Minister of the Environment in 1991 (he led the Canadian delegation at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit), Minister of Industry and Deputy Prime Minister in 1993 before becoming the head of government. Mr. Michel Cicurel has served as Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe SA since June 17, 1999. He is a Member of the Compensation Committee and the Nomination Committee. Mr. Cicurel graduated from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris in 1969 and from Ecole Nationale d'Administration with a Master of Science in Economics in 1973. Amaury de Seze

Mr. Amaury de Seze has served as Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe SA since June 25, 1998. He is also Chairman of the Company's Compensation Committee as of March 8, 2011. He was appointed General Manager of Volvo France in 1981 and served as its Chairman from 1986 to 1993. Michel Halperin

Mr. Michel Halperin has served as Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe SA since March 2, 2006. He is also Member of the Company's Nominating Committee and Compensation Committee as of March 8, 2011. He was President of the Grand Conseil de Geneva, Switzerland. An attorney, he was Member of the Conseil de l’Ordre, then Batonnier of the Ordre des Avocats of Geneva. Mr. Halperin has served, in turn, as Representative of the Liberal party on the Grand Conseil of the Republic and Canton of Geneva, as Head of the Liberal group in the Grand Conseil, and as Vice-President of the Grand Conseil. She is is Chair of Pechel Industries Partenaires, a Pechel fund manager and, since 1997, Chair of Pechel Industries SAS investment firm. Ms. Ploix previously held several senior positions notably with BIMP, the Caisse des Depots et Consignations and the Caisse Autonome de Refinancement. She has also been an advisor to the French Prime Minister and a director of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

Henri-Calixte Suaudeau

Mr. Henri-Calixte Suaudeau has served as Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe SA since November 27, 1987. He is Member of the Company's Nominating Committee. He holds also the post of Member of the Board of Directors of Publicis Conseil SA and of Fondation Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet pour la Vocation. He served as President of the Drugstore, the Company's subsidiary, until 1999. He led the real estate department from 1997 to 2004. Before 1989 he was an estate administrator and real estate valuation consultant for the French court system.

Gerard Worms

Mr. Gerard Worms has served as Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe SA since June 25, 1998. He is Independent Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee and Member of the Appointments Committee. He began his career as Technical adviser in the French civil service. After holding general management positions at the Hachette group, the Rhone Poulenc group and Societe Generale de Belgique, he then became Associate-Manager of Rothschild & Cie Banque and Rothschild & Cie SCS. From 1990 to 1995, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Compagnie de Suez and Chair of the Indosuez Bank. From 1995 to 1999, he was Chairman of the Conseil des Commanditaires of Rothschild et Cie Banque in Paris. He holds several mandates, including Vice Chairman of Rothschild Europe, Member of the Supervisory Board of Medias et Regies Europe SA. He was Member of the Board of Directors of Cofide SA and Editions Atlas SAS, and Member of the Supervisory Board of Paris-Orleans-SA, among others. He graduated from Ecole Nationale Polytechnique in 1957 and from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines de Paris in 1960.
