Name Description
Chi, Yufeng Mr. Yufeng (Michael) Chi is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Perfect World Co., Ltd. He is also Founder of the Company. Prior to founding the Company, Mr. Chi founded Beijing Golden Human Co., Ltd., a Chinese education software company, in 1996, and has served as its Chairman since its inception. From 2003 to 2004, he has also served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Tsinghua Unisplendour Corporation Limited, an information technology company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Mr. Chi received his Bachelors degree in Chemistry from Tsinghua University, in 1993, and his Masters of Business Administration degree from China-Europe International Business School in 2004. In 2009, he was named one of the Most Influential Individuals in the Chinese Game Industry in 2008 at the 2008 China Game Industry Annual Conference. In 2007, he was named one of the Outstanding Entrepreneurs of the Chinese e-Game Industry at the 2007 Annual Conference of Chinese e-Game Industry. In 2002, he was also named one of the Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs in Beijing by the Beijing Youth Federation and the Beijing Young Entrepreneur Association, and of the Outstanding Private Entrepreneurs by the All-China Association of Industry & Commerce and the China Non-Governmental Science Technology Entrepreneurs Association. In 2001, he was named one of the Outstanding Young Persons of China's Software Industry. by the MIIT and All-China Youth Federation. In addition, he is Owner of four companies within the Company's group, including Human Edu-Tech Co Ltd, Beijing Golden Human Co. Ltd, Beijing Human Online Co. Ltd, and E-Pie Entertainment and Technology Co. Ltd.
Lau, Wing Kee Mr. Wing Kee (Kevin) Lau has been Chief Financial Officer of Perfect World Co., Ltd. since March 2007. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Lau was Chief Financial Officer of Beijing Media Corporation Limited from 2004 to 2007. From 2000 to 2004, he has served as Group Finance Director of Shanghai Ogilvy & Mather Advertising Limited Beijing Branch. He worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers Beijing office as Audit Senior Manager, in 2000, and Audit Manager from 1996 to 1999. Mr. Lau received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong Baptist University in 1990. He is Member of Association of Chartered Certified Public Accountants and Hong Kong Institution of Certified Public Accountants.
Zhu, Qi Mr. Qi Zhu has been Senior Vice President responsible for operations at Perfect World Co., Ltd since November 2004. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Vice President of Beijing Qianxiang Tiancheng Technology Co. Ltd in 2004. From 2003 till 2004, he has served as Deputy General Manager of Beijing CIMO Technology Co. Ltd. Before that, he has served as Marketing Director of Beijing Globallink Computer Technology Co. Li, Jian Mr. Jian (Davis) Li has been Senior Vice President responsible for business development of Perfect World Co., Ltd and General Manager of its Shanghai Office since June 2006. Prior to joining the Company, he has served as President of Beijing Unismobile Communication Technology Co. Ltd from 2003 till 2006. He studied in Seneca College in Canada from 2001 till 2002. From 1996 till 2001, he has held various management positions with Motorola (China) Electronics Ltd, first as Technical Supervisory responsible for service center and paging subscriber division, subsequently as Project Supervisor in charge of retail marketing department, and finally as Manager in personal communication sector. Chen, Ming Mr. Ming (Alan) Chen has been Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of PW USA at Perfect World Co., Ltd since January 16, 2008. Prior to joining the Company, he has served as Chief Technology Officer of The9 Limited, from 2006 till 2007, where he led game development and technical operations. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of Hewlett-Packard (China) Ltd, where has was in charge of that company's server and storage business. He also served as Vice President of Professional Services, greater China, at Lucent Technologies (China) Ltd, and General Manager of carrier packet solutions at Nortel Networks (China) Ltd. He received his Doctorate in Philosophy degree, in 1992, in Electrical Engineering from University of Ottawa.
Lu, Xiaoyin Mr. Xiaoyin Lu has been Senior Vice President responsible for Art Management at Perfect World Co., Ltd since March 2004. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Art Director of E-Pie Entertainment and Technology Co. Ltd, from 2001 till 2004, and was in charge of art work of several Personal Computer games such as Great Qin Warriors, Shanghai Dragon and War in Burma.
