Name Description

Karlheinz Hornung

 Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Hornung has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Q-Cells SE since June 24, 2010. He is Honorary Professor at TU Dortmund. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Hornung serves on the Board of FEV Motorentechnik GmbH.

Nedim Cen

 Dr. Nedim Cen has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Member of the Executive Board of Q-Cells SE since July 1, 2010. Since November 14, 2011 he is also Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Between May 4, 2011 and August 12, 2011, he was also Interim Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer and from August 12, 2011 till November 14, 2011 he was also responsible for Marketing and Sales Division at the Company. He served as Chief Executive Officer, Interim Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Board from March 11, 2010 until June 30, 2010. Dr. Cen was also Interim Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Board from June 18, 2009 to March 11, 2010. Before joining Alvarez & Marsal as Managing Director he has almost two decades of experience in management consultancy, investment banking and as Chief Financial Officer. In the course of his career, Dr. Cen worked for McKinsey & Company, Goldman Sachs, Dresdner Bank and Credit Suisse, as well as served as Chief Financial Officer at KION Group. He holds a Master's degree in mechanical engineering and business administration. He was also awarded a Doctorate degree (Ph.D) in Economics from the Universitaet St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Uwe Schmorl

 Mr. Uwe Schmorl has been Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Q-Cells SE since October 1, 2011. Prior to that, he served as Member of the Supervisory Board and Employee Representative at Q-Cells SE from August 2005. He occupies the position of Chairman of the Works Council of the Company.

Andreas von Zitzewitz
