Name Description

James Fisher

Mr. James D. Fisher is an Independent Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Fisher is currently Vice Dean, Programs, Marcel Desautels Chair in Entrepreneurship and Professor of Strategic Management at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Prior to 1998: Prior to joining the University of Toronto in 1998, Mr. Fisher spent approximately 20 years as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company and The Canada Consulting Group; and approximately 10 years as an executive with George Weston Limited.

Stephen Johnson

Mr. Stephen E. Johnson is Chief Executive Officer, Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. He has resigned from the position of President of the Company with effective January 1, 2015. Mr Johnson has spent over 36 years in the real estate industry and has been with CREIT since September 1996. He has experience in real estate, corporate finance, property management, leasing, real estate valuation and property development. As President and CEO of CREIT, Mr. Johnson has overall responsibility for the development of CREIT’s business model and strategy and the leadership responsibility for CREIT’s success.

Rael Diamond

Mr. Rael Lee Diamond has been appointed as President, Chief Operating Officer of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust effective January 1, 2015. Mr. Diamond joined CREIT in 2012 and has served as CREIT's Chief Financial Officer since April 2013. Prior to joining CREIT, Mr. Diamond served as Chief Financial Officer of several subsidiary public companies of Brookfield Asset Management, including Rouse Properties and Brookfield Office Properties Canada.

Rene Arsenault

Mr. Rene G.Arsenault is the Vice President - Quebec of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. He is responsible for CREIT’s asset and property management program for its Quebec portfolio. The Quebec assets comprise approximately 1.7 million square feet (at CREIT’s ownership). Mr. Arsenault has an extensive leasing and management background, having been in the real estate industry for over 25 years. During that time he worked for SITQ, a division of the Caisse de dép?t et placement du Québec and TrizecHahn Corporation.

Trent Holfeld

Mr.Trent.H.Holfeld is the Vice President - Retail Real Estate of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Holfeld has an extensive leasing and development background, having been in the real estate industry for over 17 years. During that time he worked for Canadian Tire Corporation, most recently responsible for the national leasing and development program. Mr. Holfeld is responsible for CREIT’s asset and property management and leasing program for its US, Alberta and Ontario retail portfolio of approximately 4.8 million square feet. He also provides expertise on the Trust’s retail development program in key geographic centres in Canada.

John Brough

Mr. John A. Brough is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust since May 2008.Mr. Brough is currently a Corporate Director for a number of public companies. As Corporate Director, he is the Chairman of four Audit Committees including the Trust, a Lead Director of one company, and a member of various Board Committees including the Audit, Governance, Compensation, Investment, Nominating and Special Committees. 1998 to 2007: Mr. Brough was the President of Wittington Properties Limited (Canada), a company which develops condominiums and manages office assets in the Greater Toronto Area. Mr. Brough was also the President of Torwest Inc. (United States), a company which is responsible for the real estate business assets of the Weston family in the USA. In this capacity, Mr. Brough developed two master planned amenitized residential real estate communities in Florida.

Brian Flood

Mr.Brain M. Flood is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust.Mr. Flood is a Senior Advisor to Simex Inc., a Canadian based international company in the specialty film attraction industry. 1981 to 2011: Mr. Flood was with Torys LLP, as a partner until 2008 and as Counsel thereafter until his retirement in 2011. Mr. Flood practiced a wide range of corporate, commercial and securities law including mergers and acquisitions, financings, private equity and restructurings. He advised public and private companies, government agencies, boards of directors and special committees of boards. For much of his career at Torys he was also involved in the senior management of the firm including chairing its Executive Committee. Mr. Flood has been a director of many public, private and not-for-profit companies.

Andrew Hoffman

Mr.Andrew.L. Hoffman is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Hoffman, a lawyer, is the President and Founder of CentreCourt Developments Inc., a Toronto-based developer of residential and commercial properties. 1989 to 2010: Mr. Hoffman was the Chief Operating Officer of Menkes Developments Ltd., a leading real estate developer in the Greater Toronto Area (“GTA”).Mr. Hoffman has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and has been involved in some of Toronto’s major real estate projects including the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences, 25 York Street, two major mixed-use developments comprising four million square feet and numerous office, industrial and residential projects in the GTA. Mr. Hoffman has extensive experience in property acquisitions, property management, real estate finance and the leasing and development of real estate properties.

W. Reay Mackay

Mr. W. Reay Mackay is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust since May 2005. Prior to becoming a Corporate Director, Mr. Mackay was Vice Chairman and Group Head for Wealth Management at The Royal Bank of Canada. This position included Brokerage and Asset Management businesses in Canada, RBC Dain Rauscher Brokerage businesses in the US, Global Private Banking and Royal Trust. Prior to that, Mr. Mackay was President and Chief Operating Officer at RBC Dominion Securities.
