Name Description

James Fisher

Mr. James D. Fisher is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Fisher is currently Vice Dean, Programs, Marcel Desautels Chair in Entrepreneurship and Professor of Strategic Management at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Prior to 1998: Prior to joining the University of Toronto in 1998, Mr. Fisher spent approximately 20 years as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company and The Canada Consulting Group; and approximately 10 years as an executive with George Weston Limited.

Rael Diamond

Mr. Rael L. Diamond is President, Chief Operating Officer of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust, effective March 30, 2015. Mr. Diamond was CFO of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Diamond was appointed to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer, in addition to his position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Diamond is a CPA, CA and was formerly a Senior Vice President, Finance with Brookfield Asset Management and served as Chief Financial Officer for several of Brookfield’s subsidiary companies, including Rouse Properties, Brookfield Office Properties Canada and Howard Hughes Corporation.

Stephen Johnson

Mr. Stephen E. Johnson is Chief Executive Officer, Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Johnson has spent almost 40 years in the real estate industry and has been with CREIT since September 1996. He has extensive experience in real estate operations including property management and leasing. Mr. Johnson also has experience in real estate valuation, property development and corporate finance. As CEO of CREIT since 1996, Mr. Johnson has overall responsibility for the development of CREIT’s business model and strategy and the leadership responsibility for CREIT’s success.

Mario Barrafato

Mr. Mario Barrafato is Chief Financial Officer of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Barrafato is presently with DREAM Asset Management Corporation ("DREAM"). Since joining DREAM in 2001, he has been actively involved in the financial management of its platform and has served as Chief Financial Officer of several of their public entities, most notably DREAM Office REIT. Mr. Barrafato comes with over 20 years of senior management experience in corporate finance, financial reporting and capital markets.

Rene Arsenault

Mr. Rene G.Arsenault is Vice President - Quebec of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Arsenault is responsible for CREIT’s asset and property management program for its Quebec portfolio. The Quebec assets comprise approximately 2.2 million square feet (at CREIT’s ownership). Mr. Arsenault has an extensive leasing and management background, having been in the real estate industry for over 25 years. He previously worked for SITQ, a division of the Caisse de Dép?t et Placement du Québec and TrizecHahn Corporation.

Trent Holfeld

Mr. Trent H. Holfeld is Vice President - Real Estate of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Holfeld has an extensive leasing and development background, having been in the real estate industry for over 18 years. He previously worked for Canadian Tire Corporation, most recently responsible for the national leasing and development program. Mr. Holfeld has direct responsibility for CREIT’s asset and property management and leasing program for its US, Alberta and Ontario retail portfolio of approximately 4.9 million square feet (at CREIT’s ownership). He also provides support for and expertise on CREIT’s retail assets on a national level.

Deborah Barrett

Ms. Deborah J. Barrett is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Ms. Barrett is the Chief Financial Officer of The Woodbridge Company Limited (“Woodbridge”), a private investment holding company. Ms. Barrett was the Vice President, Finance at Woodbridge. Prior to joining Woodbridge in 2004, she held senior financial leadership positions in public and private companies. Ms. Barrett has over 30 years of experience in a number of industries including private equity, real estate and business process outsourcing.

John Brough

Mr. John A. Brough is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Brough is currently a Corporate Director for a number of public companies. He is the Chairman of four Audit Committees including the Trust, a Lead Director of one company, and a member of various Board Committees including Audit, Governance, Compensation and Investment Committees. Mr. Brough was the President of Wittington Properties Limited (Canada), a company which develops condominiums and manages office assets in the Greater Toronto Area. Mr. Brough was also the President of Torwest Inc. (United States), a company which is responsible for the real estate business assets of the Weston family in the USA. In this capacity, Mr. Brough developed two master planned amenitized residential real estate communities in Florida.

Anthony Fell

Mr. Anthony S. Fell is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Fell is currently a Corporate Director. Mr. Fell is a former Chairman of RBC Capital Markets, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and a former Deputy Chairman of The Royal Bank of Canada. Mr. Fell was with RBC Capital Markets and predecessor companies for 48 years, including 18 years as Chief Executive Officer and a further eight years as Chairman until his retirement in 2007. In these roles, Mr. Fell was responsible for the overall leadership and corporate governance of the firms. Mr. Fell is a past Chairman of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada and a past Governor of the Toronto Stock Exchange. Over the course of the past 15 years, Mr. Fell has been a director of BCE Inc, CAE Inc. and Loblaw Companies, and sat on the Audit Committee of these companies for a number of years.

Brian Flood

Mr. Brian M. Flood is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Flood is a Senior Advisor to Simex Inc., a Canadian based international company in the specialty film attraction industry. Mr. Flood was with Torys LLP, as a partner until 2008 and as Counsel thereafter until his retirement in 2011. Mr. Flood practiced a wide range of corporate, commercial and securities law including mergers and acquisitions, financings, private equity and restructurings. He advised public and private companies, government agencies, boards of directors and special committees of boards. For much of his career at Torys he was also involved in the senior management of the firm leading both the professional practice and the client relationship side of the firm, overseeing its New York office and chairing its Executive Committee. Mr. Flood has been a director of many public, private and not-for-profit companies.

Andrew Hoffman

Mr. Andrew L. Hoffman is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Hoffman is the President and Founder of CentreCourt Developments Inc., a Torontobased developer of residential and commercial properties. Mr. Hoffman was the Chief Operating Officer of Menkes Developments Ltd., a leading real estate developer in the Greater Toronto Area (“GTA”). Mr. Hoffman is a lawyer by background and has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. He has been involved in some of Toronto’s major real estate projects including the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences, 25 York Street and numerous office, industrial and residential projects in the GTA. Mr. Hoffman has extensive experience in property acquisitions, property management, real estate finance and the leasing and development of real estate properties.

W. Reay Mackay

Mr. W. Reay Mackay is an Independent Trustee of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Mackay is currently a Corporate Director. Prior to becoming a Corporate Director, Mr. Mackay was Vice Chairman and Group Head for Wealth Management at The Royal Bank of Canada. This position included Brokerage and Asset Management businesses in Canada, RBC Dain Rauscher Brokerage businesses in the United States, Global Private Banking and Royal Trust. Prior to that, Mr. Mackay was President and Chief Operating Officer at RBC Dominion Securities.
