| Shaner, Lance | Lance T. Shaner has been Chairman and a Director of Rex Energy Corporation since March 2007. Mr. Shaner founded the wholly owned subsidiary, PennTex Resources, L.P., in 1996, and co-founded and served as an officer of all of the Rex Energy affiliated companies before the initial public offering in July 2007. From March 2004 to September 2006, Mr. Shaner served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the wholly owned subsidiary, Rex Energy Operating Corp. Since its inception in 1984, Mr. Shaner has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Shaner Hotels, a privately held hotel company. Mr. Shaner received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Alfred. |
| Hulburt, Benjamin | Benjamin W. Hulburt is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Rex Energy Corporation. He has been a director of Rex Energy Corp since March 2007. Mr. Hulburt was named Chief Executive Officer of the Company in March 2007 and assumed the duties of President of the Company in February 2008. | Beattie, Timothy | Timothy P. Beattie is Senior Vice President, Appalachian Regional Manager of Rex Energy Corporation since August 2008. Mr. Beattie will be responsible for all activities in the Appalachian Basin and will be located at Rex Energy's corporate headquarters in State College, Pennsylvania. Mr. Beattie has over 24 years experience in reservoir engineering and operations management with extensive knowledge of Reservoir Modeling and Project Management. Mr. Beattie comes to Rex Energy from Woodside Energy (USA), Inc. in Covington, Louisiana, where he served as Engineering & Operations Manager. Prior to Woodside Energy (USA) Inc., Mr. Beattie worked for Dominion Exploration & Production as a Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer and he was also responsible for all regulatory matters necessary for Development Project approval. Prior to being employed by Dominion Exploration & Production and Woodside Energy (USA), Inc., Mr. Beattie worked for Shell International Exploration & Production, Inc. for over 21 years in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he held various positions in Reservoir Engineering. Mr. Beattie received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree (concentration in Math and Sciences) from the Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. |

| Pratt, David | David Pratt is Vice President, Exploration Manager of Rex Energy Corporation since April 2008. Mr. Pratt has over 30 years experience as a senior geologist working on projects located throughout the United States. His most recent private exploration and development experience includes almost nine years with Cabot Oil and Gas working in the Appalachian Basin. Specific work included the Oriskany, Knox, Onondaga and Trenton-Black River plays, as well as the Devonian Shale and Devonian/Carboniferous sandstone in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He also gained substantial working knowledge in the Appalachian Front of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Tennessee. Prior to his Cabot Oil and Gas work, Mr. Pratt gained extensive experience while employed with Texaco in West Texas; Sohio Petroleum in Colorado, Nevada and Utah; Ensource and Enstar in the western U.S.; and Ultramar in Texas and the Rocky Mountain areas. | Watson, James | James F. Watson was named Vice President of Drilling-Appalachian Region of Rex Energy Corporation in May 2008. From June 2007 until May 2008, Mr. Watson served as Manager of Drilling for Appalachia Shale for Range Resources Corporation. From June 2000 until June 2007, Mr. Watson served as District Engineer and Manager of Drilling & Completion for Great Lakes Energy Partners, a subsidiary of Range Resources Corporation. | Ulincy, Bernard | Mr. Bernard J. Ulincy has been appointed as Vice President, Land Manager of Rex Energy Corporation since November 2008.
