Name Description

H. Gregory Chamandy

 Mr. H. Gregory Chamandy is Executive Chairman of the Board of Richmont Mines Inc. Mr. Chamandy has been a Director of Richmont since May 2009. Mr. Chamandy has experience in the public markets, first as co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gildan Activewear Inc. ("Gildan") from 1984 to 2004. After retiring from Gildan, he became Chairman and co-owner of Europe's Best Inc., North America's selling brand of frozen fruit, which was sold to JM Smucker & Co. in 2008. Mr. Chamandy is currently the Chairman of Oxbridge Bank & Trust SCC ("Oxbridge"), a Barbados private bank that caters to high net worth clients. He is also the Chairman of Liquid Nutrition Group Inc., a public company in the Health & Wellness industry listed on TSX Venture.

Paul Carmel

 Mr. Paul R. Carmel, P. Eng., is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Richmont Mines Inc. Prior to joining Richmont, Mr. Carmel was the Managing Director and Head of Mining - Investment Banking for Desjardins Capital Markets from 2009 until today. From 2006 to 2009 he was the President and Managing Partner of MinQuest Capital Inc., Caisse de Depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ). From 2001 to 2006 he was the Investment Manager and Director of the Sentient Group, natural resources private equity fund. Prior to that, he was a Strategic Advisor to CDPQ from 1999 to 2001, a Vice-President and Senior Gold Analyst at UBS Securities from 1994 to 1999, a Senior Gold Analyst at National Bank Financial from 1990 to 1994, a Mining Product Specialist at Atlas Copco Canada Ltd. from 1989 to 1990, and an Engineer and Production Foreman at Inco Ltd. (now Vale) from 1986 to 1989. Mr. Carmel is a past Director of mining companies. Mr. Carmel holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mining from McGill University, in Montreal, Canada, and was a Recipient of the Canadian Mineral Industry Education Foundation Scholarship. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Quebec.

Pierre Rougeau

 Mr. Pierre Rougeau is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Richmont Mines Inc. Mr. Rougeau was Executive Vice-President, Operations and Sales for AbitibiBowater Inc. from 2009 through 2011, Chief Financial Officer for Abitibi Consolidated Inc. from 2001 to 2007, Head of Forest Products Investment Banking at UBS Warburg - Canada from 1998 to 2001, and worked at McLeod Young Weir/Scotia Capital from 1986 to 1998, where he held various positions in Investment Banking, including Managing Director. Mr. Rougeau holds a Bachelor of Science, in Business Administration (Accounting) from St-Louis University in Missouri, and a Master's of Science in Finance, from the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec.

Christian Pichette

 Mr. Christian Pichette is Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of Richmont Mines Inc. He has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Company with effect from May 10, 2012. Mr. Pichette holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mining and a Masters degree in Rock Mechanics from Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, Canada. He has more than 30 years of experience in mining. Ms. Ellingham is President of Ellingham Consulting Ltd., a company providing geological and corporate finance services to international clients. Ms. Ellingham was Senior VP, Investor Relations for IAMGOLD Corporation and has a range of experience in mineral exploration, corporate development and investor relations for mining companies including Campbell Resources Inc., Rio Algom Exploration Inc., and St. Joe Canada Inc. Ms. Ellingham is currently a director of Continental Nickel Ltd., and is a former director of NewWest Gold Corporation.

 Mr. Eberhard W. Scherkus, P.Eng., is Director of Richmont Mines Inc. Mr. Scherkus recently retired as President and Chief Operating Officer of Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited ("Agnico-Eagle") after a 27 year career with the company. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Agnico-Eagle from December 2005 until his retirement in February 2012. Prior to becoming President and COO of Agnico-Eagle, Mr. Scherkus served as Executive Vice-President, Operations from 1998 to 2005, as Vice-President, Operations from 1996 to 1998, as the manager of the company's La Ronde Division from 1986 to 1996, and as a project manager from 1985 to 1986. Mr. Scherkus is a graduate of McGill University (B.Sc), a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, and the past President of the Quebec Mining Association.

Rejean Houle

 Mr. Rejean Houle is Independent Director of Richmont Mines Inc. Mr. Houle is an Ambassador for the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club Inc., is the President of The Montreal Canadiens Alumni Association, and served as General Manager of the Canadiens from November 2000 until October 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Houle was Director of Public Relations for Molson Breweries Inc., after having retired from career as a professional hockey player in the National Hockey League. Mr. Houle is also on the Board of Directors of the Fondation du Canadien pour l'enfance, and the Marc-Aurele Fortin Museum.
