Name Description

Samsudin bin Hitam

Tan Sri Dato' Sri Dr. Samsudin bin Hitam serves as the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Reliance Pacific Berhad since April 22, 2015. He holds Bachelor of Arts from University of Malaya, Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from University of Wisconsin and PhD in Land Resources from University of Wisconsin, USA. He has served in the Ministry of Finance, the Inland Revenue Board Malaysia and the Economic Planning Unit. Tan Sri has also served as an Assistant Secretary and Senior Assistant Director of the Budget Division, Treasury. In 2000 he was appointed as the Secretary General of the Treasury in the Ministry of Finance. He was also the Chairman of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia. Tan Sri was also a director of various corporations namely Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Hicom Holdings Berhad, Malaysia Airlines Berhad and Pos Malaysia & Services Holdings Berhad. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Maju Expressway Sdn Bhd.

Irene Tan

Datin Irene Tan serves as Chief Executive Officer and Non-Independent Executive Director of Reliance Pacific Berhad since May 13, 1993. Her experience spans a wide ambit of the hotel, property and tourism industries. She was responsible for the development of Malaysia’s first homegrown Travel Franchise under the Reliance brand name. Datin Irene also led a team of hotel professionals in developing Malaysia’s first homegrown Hotel Management Franchise System for the Seri Malaysia chain of hotels. She spearheaded and developed the Avillion Hotel Sydney, Avillion Hotel Port Dickson, Admiral Cove Development and Admiral Marina & Leisure Club in Port Dickson and Golden Envoy in Johor. Datin Irene is a council member of the Malaysian Singapore Business Council (MSBC), Malaysian Co-Chairman, Joint MSBC Tourism & Hospitality Committee (JHTC), an Associate Member of the Harvard Business School Alumni, a life member of the Institute of Directors, the Malaysian Institute of Personnel Management and a founding member of the Malaysian Youth Orchestra Foundation.

Set Fui Chong

Ms. Chong (Angeline) Set Fui serves as Chief Financial Officer of Reliance Pacific Berhad. She is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Fellow Member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Ms. Chong Set Fui has more than 20 years of financial and corporate experience where she was involved in audit, initial public offer exercise, treasury, company restructuring, group consolidation of accounts and group tax planning. She also sits on the board of a number of RPB subsidiaries.

Ah Sing See

Mr. See Ah Sing serves as Non-Independent Executive Director of Reliance Pacific Berhad since April 22, 2015. He holds Bachelor of Economics from University of Malaya and a Diploma in Public Management from INTAN. Mr See joined the Malaysian Civil Service in 1984. He has served in various ministries including the Ministry of Housing, Economic Planning Unit and Ministry of Finance. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Fomema for 3 years. Amirul Azhar bin Baharom

Mr. Amirul Azhar bin Baharom has been Non-Executive Independent Director at Reliance Pacific Berhad since December 16, 2015. He holds LLB Honours from Staffordshire University, UK. He began his career as a Research Analyst with Cazenove & Co. and had been in the financial services industry for a number of years where he was attached with the Securities Commission, BDO Capital Consultants Sdn Bhd and KAF Fund Management Sdn Bhd. He had also served as the Group Managing Director and CEO of Vastalux Energy Berhad. He is Director at Spring Gallery Berhad, Technic Group Berhad and UMS-Neiken Group Berhad.

Kien Hoe Onn

Mr. Onn Kien Hoe has been Non-Executive Independent Director at Reliance Pacific Berhad since June 1, 2016. He is Fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He has been involved in the auditing profession since 1988. He joined Crowe Horwath (then known as Mok & Poon) in 1994 and was in charge of the audit of listed companies and multi-national companies. He is now the Co-head of Corporate Advisory department of Crowe Horwath in Kuala Lumpur. He has extensive experience in cross border transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, listing, reverse takeovers, due diligence reviews and valuation assignments. He has been involved in transactions on international stock exchanges including London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and Malaysia. Mr Onn currently sits as an independent non-executive director of MAA Group Berhad, MAA Takaful Berhad, MAA International Assurance Ltd and Nova MSC Berhad.

Sin Chong Tan

Mr. Tan Sin Chong serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Reliance Pacific Berhad since October 17, 2014. He was appointed as Executive Director on April 29, 2011 and Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on October 18, 2011. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) from University of Science, Malaysia in 1982.
