Name	Description
Jerry Kennelly	Mr. Jerry M. Kennelly is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Riverbed Technology, Inc. He co-founded Riverbed in May 2002 and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and as President and Chief Executive Officer. Immediately prior to founding Riverbed, Mr. Kennelly spent six years at Inktomi Corporation, an infrastructure software company, where he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary. From June 1990 until joining Inktomi in October 1996, Mr. Kennelly worked for Sybase, Inc., an infrastructure software company, in a number of senior financial and operational positions, most recently as Vice President of Corporate Finance. From November 1988 until June 1990, Mr. Kennelly worked at Oracle Corporation as finance director for US Operations. From June 1980 until November 1988, Mr. Kennelly worked at Hewlett-Packard Company as Worldwide Sales and Marketing Controller for the Tandem Computers Division. Mr. Kennelly holds a Bachelor’s degree from Williams College and a Masters degree from the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration.
Ernest Maddock	Mr. Ernest E. Maddock is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Riverbed Technology Inc. He was appointed as Executive Vice President on April 29, 2013 and Chief Financial Officer of the Company on May 3, 2013 . Mr. Maddock had previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lam Research Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of semiconductor processing equipment, since September 2008. David Peranich	Mr. David M. Peranich is Executive Vice President - Worldwide Sales of Riverbed Technology, Inc., since January 2011. He served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales from July 2006 to January 2011. From June 2004 to November 2005, Mr. Peranich was the Chief Executive Officer and President of Centrata, a provider of IT service delivery management solutions. David Wu	Mr. David Wu has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer of Riverbed Technology Inc., effective April 23, 2013. Wu was involved in the initial architecture of the award-winning Steelhead(R) wide area network (WAN) optimization appliance. More recently he is also the innovator behind the ground-breaking Granite(R) storage delivery solution that offers globally distributed enterprises a new approach to consolidating edge data to the secure data center while delivering local performance access to branch employees. Wu had led design and development for Riverbed's most innovative and products. Wu developed the initial architecture behind the Steelhead appliance and the Riverbed Optimization System (RIOS(R)), the software that powers Riverbed WAN optimization solutions. He also was responsible for the advanced development of Whitewater(R) cloud storage appliance that enables customers to seamlessly and securely backup to the cloud. Most recently, Wu was the primary inventor of Granite, which allows customers to consolidate branch back to the data center and create new possibilities for IT including instant provisioning of branch offices from the data center and instant restore should disaster occur. Wu has held several positions, including Vice President, Software Development and Senior Vice President, Research & Development. Wu will also lead more than 800 engineers in the development of new products and drive continued innovation to address the business and IT problems that globally distributed enterprises are grappling with as they transform their data centers. Before joining the Riverbed founding team, Wu was the Director of Engineering at netVmg, acquired by Internap Corporation (INAP). Earlier, Wu served as Senior Engineering Manager at Inktomi Corporation, where he led the streaming media proxy group. Wu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Computer Science, both from University of California, Berkeley.
David Greene	Mr. David Greene has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer of Riverbed Technology Inc., effective April 24, 2012. Prior to joining Riverbed, Greene served as vice president of worldwide marketing for BMC Software's $2B portfolio of IT management software businesses. Prior to BMC, he held a number of executive marketing positions at Active Reasoning, a pioneer in data center automation, Exodus Communications, HiFive.net, and Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ).
