Name	Description
Manfred Schneider	Dr. Manfred Schneider has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board at RWE AG since May 1, 2009. He is Member of the Supervisory Board since December 10, 1992. He graduated with a degree in Business Management from Universitaet Hamburg, Universitaet zu Koeln and from Albert-Ludwigs-Universitat Freiburg. He is Chairman of the Board of Bayer AG and Linde AG, as well as Member of the Board of Daimler AG. He is Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Supervisory Board, Mediation Committee, Personnel Affairs Committee and Nomination Committee at the Company. After earning his degree in business studies, he became Assistant to the Professor of Business Management at Technische Universitaet Aachen. During this time he also obtained his doctorate. He joined Bayer AG in 1966. After working in the Organization, Auditing and Cost Accounting Departments, he transferred in 1971 to Duisburger Kupferhuette, at that time a subsidiary of Bayer AG. There he first headed the Finance and Accounting Department and later became Chairman of the Board. At the end of 1981 he returned to Leverkusen and, following the reorganization of Bayer AG in 1984, he became head of Regional Coordination, Corporate Auditing and Controlling within the Corporate Staff Division.
