Name Description

James Hance

 Mr. James H. Hance, Jr., is Independent Chairman of the Board of Sprint Nextel Corporation. Mr. Hance serves as a Senior Advisor to The Carlyle Group. He served as the Vice Chairman of Bank of America Corporation from 1993 until his retirement on January 31, 2005 and as the Chief Financial Officer of Bank of America Corporation from 1988 until April 2004. He is a director of Cousins Properties Incorporated, Duke Energy Corporation, Ford Motor Company and The Carlyle Group. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Rayonier Corporation, Morgan Stanley and EnPro Industries, Inc.

Daniel Hesse

 Mr. Daniel R. Hesse is the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Sprint Nextel Corporation since December 17, 2007. Before becoming the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sprint Nextel on December 17, 2007, Mr. Hesse was Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Embarq Corporation. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Sprint’s Local Telecommunications Division from June 2005 until the Embarq spin-off in May 2006. Joseph Euteneuer

 Mr. Joseph J. Euteneuer serves as Chief Financial Officer of Sprint Nextel Corporation since April 4, 2011. Mr. Euteneuer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Qwest, a wireline telecom company, from September 12, 2008 until April 2011. Previously, Mr. Euteneuer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc., a satellite radio provider, from 2002 until September 2008 after it merged with SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Inc.  Mr. Matthew Carter, Jr., is President - Global Wholesale and Emerging Solutions of Sprint Nextel Corporation. He was appointed President - 4G in January 2010, and his role has changed to include Wholesale and Emerging Solutions. He began his career at General Motors (GM) in 1971 as a student at General Motors Institute (currently Kettering University) and moved through the company in a number of engineering and manufacturing positions.
