Jim Crawford |
Mr. Jim Crawford has been appointed as Vice President - Corporate Development of Savary Gold Corp effective February 27, 2013. Mr. Crawford brings 15 years of international mineral exploration experience to Savary Gold's Corporate Development team. In addition, as part of Forbes West Management Corp, Mr. Crawford also acts as the Vice President, Corporate Development for Crosshair Energy, a TSX and NYSE MKT listed company. Prior to joining Forbes West, he held a number of corporate and field-based positions including Manager, Investor Relations for Peregrine Diamonds; Field Manager, Kennecott Canada Exploration's Western Canadian Coal Project; and Senior Mineralogist, Golden Star Resources in their Georgetown, Guyana office. Jim holds an MBA in finance from Pepperdine University, as well as, an MSc in geology from Queen's University. |

Mr. Craig Mackay has been appointed as Vice President - Technical Services of Savary Gold Corp effective February 27, 2013. Mr. Mackay has a background in the earth sciences with more than 25 years of international experience delivering geospatial information strategy and IT infrastructure to support mineral exploration and mine development. Prior to joining Savary Gold, Craig worked in Canada, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Australia and Africa where he directed application and consumption of geo-information management technologies in mining, software R&D, agriculture and forestry. He has an MBA from Trinity College, Dublin and an MSc in Information Technology from Stellenbosch, South Africa. |

Mr. Mark J. Morabito is Director of Savary Gold Corp. He has over 15 years’ experience in public markets with junior mining with experience in capital-raising and corporate development. He has gained relevant financial statement experience through his involvement in publically traded junior mining companies. Mr. Morabito founded and has been director and officer of a number of resource development companies including Alderon Iron Ore Corp., Crosshair Energy Corporation, and Excelsior Mining Corp. Mr. Morabito has previously served as a member of the audit committees for a number of public resource development companies, including Excelsior Mining Corp., Ridgemont Iron Ore Corp., Santa Fe Metals Corp. and Logan Resources Ltd. Mr. Morabito has a B.A. from Simon Fraser University and completed his J.D. at the University of Western Ontario. |

Mr. Craig Pearman is Independent Director of Savary Gold Corp. He has over 20 years’ experience as an exploration and mining geologist in Ghana, Tanzania and South Africa. Mr. Pearman is currently the President and CEO of Midlands Minerals Corporation. He has gained relevant financial statement experience through his involvement in publically traded junior mining companies. Mr. Pearman received his B.Sc. (Honours) from the University of KwaZulu Natal, Durban, South Africa in 1991 and is a member of the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions. |
Stephan Theron |
Mr. Stephan Theron is Independent Director of Savary Gold Corp. He has over 13 years of financial management, project finance and equity analysis experience in the mining, energy and infrastructure sectors. Mr. Theron is currently President and CEO of Forbes & Manhattan Coal Corp. (TSX: FMC), a Southern African based coal producer. Mr. Theron was previously Chief Financial Officer of Aberdeen International Inc. He was also previously sector head – materials and energy at an independent investment research firm with a focus on emerging markets from September 2007 to October 2009. Mr. Theron is a Certified General Accountant in Canada and has B.Com. degree from the University of Johannesburg. |
