Biographies

Name Description

George Jones

Mr. George F. Jones is no longer Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Sundance Resources Ltd., effective November 27, 2014. He has been involved with the Company for a number of years and has understanding of the Company and its assets. Mr. Jones has more than 35 years experience in the mining, banking and finance industries and has been a Director of a number of private and publicly-listed companies, including Gindalbie Metals Ltd, where he is currently Chairman. He was Director of Mundo Minerals Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Curtin University and is Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Giulio Casello

Mr. Giulio Casello has been Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Executive Director of Sundance Resources Ltd since November 8, 2010. He is an executive with national and global exposure in manufacturing environments for blue chip organisations. Backed by almost 30 years of experience, he has a track record of success with operations, business development and corporate strategy. He has previously worked at Sinosteel Midwest as Chief Operating Officer, Century Aluminium Company in the United States of America where as Senior Vice President Business Development. He was responsible for developing and implementing a growth plan in aluminium, alumina and critical raw material and managing new projects across the globe. He has also held a number of positions in Alcoa including Director of WA Operations, General Manager of Alcoa’s World Chemicals and Location Manager of the Kwinana Alumina Refinery. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

Wallace King

Mr. Wallace Macarthur King has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Sundance Resources Limited., with effect from November 27, 2014. Mr King joined Leighton in 1968 and was appointed the company’s chief executive in 1987. Under his leadership, Leighton grew from an organisation with annual revenue of $1 billion to one of the world’s leading contractingservices and project development organisations with revenues of more than $20billion and substantial operations in Australia,Asia and the Middle East. During this time, Mr King gained enormous experience in planning, funding, constructing and operating  world-scale projects, including many in the resources sector. Mr King  is an Honorary  Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, a Foundation  Fellow of the  Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, the  Australian Institute of Building and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.

Alan Rule

Mr. Alan David Rule serves as Chief Financial Officer of Sundance Resources Limited effective July 1, 2014. He has over 17 years of experience in Australian mining industry. He was the Chief Financial Officer of Paladin Energy Limited (July 2012-June 30, 2014). He has considerable experience in international financing of mining projects, implementation of accounting controls and systems and mergers and acquisitions. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Accounting degree. His prior positions include CFO of Mount Gibson Limited, CFO of Western Metals Limited and CFO of St Barbara Mines Limited.

Paul De Nardi

Mr. Paul De Nardi has been General Manager - Finance & Commercial of Sundance Resources Ltd since January 11, 2010. He joined Sundance in January 2010. His qualifications include an MBA (Major in Finance) from University of Western Australia and has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Curtin University. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has over 20 years experience in mining business development, project financing, corporate advisory and engineering construction. Prior to Sundance Resources, he spent nine years at Rio Tinto Iron Ore most recently as General Manager Global Development Iron Ore where he was responsible for the generation, financial and technical analysis, negotiation and execution of global iron ore project opportunities. He has also spent 11 years working in project and corporate finance within various investment banks (lastly as Senior Manager, Corporate Finance with JP Morgan) providing financial and structuring advice for corporations on resource, power and oil and gas project financings and as a chemical engineer on oil and gas design and construction projects.

David Meehan

Robin Longley

Mr. Robin (Rob) Longley is General Manager - Geology of Sundance Resources Ltd. He joined Sundance from international iron ore explorer, Sphere Investments, where he managed resource definition activities at the El Aouj Magnetite Deposit in Mauritania, West Africa. He has over 20 years of industry experience focused on iron ore, including appointments at Rio Tinto and BHP. He worked on the commissioning and development of Rio Tinto's West Angelas Marra Mamba iron ore mine in the Pilbara and for BHP when it was operator of the high-grade hematite mine at Koolan Island, Western Australia. Importantly, he brings to Sundance current iron ore exploration experience in West Africa. He has background in the management of resource drilling programs as well as experience in data interpretation and modelling of iron ore geology. He is responsible for achieving Sundance's resource definition objectives at Mbalam and for identifying other geological opportunities for the Company. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Geology from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.

Aime Yoka

Mr. Aime Emmanuel Yoka has been General Manager of Congo Iron SA of Sundance Resources Ltd since August 2013. He brings to the Company over 10 years of International Advisory, Business, Energy and Mining experience, most recently with BHP Billiton in Singapore where he gained commercial experience as a senior strategist and analyst in both energy and metals commodities. He speaks French and English and has ability in Mandarin and Spanish. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Columbia University (New York, USA) as well as a Master of Science (Honors) in Energy Studies (specialisation in international oil and gas management) from Dundee University (Scotland, UK) where he graduated with overall distinction. He is a member of both the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Nicola Gill

Ms. Nicola Gill has been Business Services Manager since Febuary 1, 2011. She joined Sundance in July 2010 in the role of Acting CFO. She is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years experience in the mining industry holding a variety of roles with manganese producer Consolidated Minerals Ltd, Xstrata's nickel division, Jubilee Mines NL, LionOre Mining and Sons of Gwalia. She brings to SDL financial, contractual, corporate governance and management experience.

Mrs. Carol Marinkovich has been appointed as Acting Company Secretary of the Company., with effect from December 31, 2013. She has extensive corporate experience working with listed and unlisted mining companies both within Australia and internationally. She has worked with Sundance since July 2010 as Assistant Company Secretary.

Michael Blakiston

Mr. Michael Gerrard Blakiston has been Non-Executive Director of Sundance Resources Ltd since August 16, 2010. He is a solicitor with legal experience in the resources sector. He is a partner of the corporate and resource law firm, Gilbert + Tobin and has over 30 years experience. Mr. Blakiston holds Bachelor of Jurisprudence and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of Western Australia. He has commercial experience both in advisory and directorial capacities having been involved in project assessment, structuring and financing, joint ventures and strategic alliances in the resource industry. Gilbert + Tobin is currently engaged by Sundance Resources to provide ongoing legal advice. Mr. Blakiston has played a role in the negotiation and formulation of a number of key agreements relating to Sundance’s Mbalam Iron Ore Project, and is currently involved in the negotiation of the Convention Agreements with the Congolese and Cameroon Governments. He acts as Director of Platinum Australia Limited and Axiom Properties Limited and was Director of Aurora Oil and Gas Limited, Rox Resources Limited and Vulcan Resources Ltd.

Barry Eldridge

Mr. Barry J. Eldridge has been Non-Executive Director of Sundance Resource Ltd since August 16, 2010. He has over 40 years experience as a geologist and mining engineer in the resource industry both in Australia and overseas. Following a 20 year career in the coal industry in Queensland and New South Wales, Mr. Eldridge moved to Western Australia in 1988 where he has been involved in a number of management roles in the mining industry. Most notable of these have been Project Manager for the Super Pit in Kalgoorlie, Project Manager for the development of Kanowna Belle gold mine, Managing Director of Forrestania Gold NL, Project Director for Rio Tinto’s West Angelas iron ore development, Director – Major Projects for North Ltd, Managing Director of Griffin Coal Pty Ltd, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer of Portman Ltd and Chairman of SNC-Lavalin Australia Pty Ltd. He is Director of Mundo Minerals Limited and Cliffs Natural Resources Inc and was Director of Vulcan Resources Limited and Millennium Minerals Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He is Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Company.

Fiona Harris

Ms. Fiona Elizabeth Harris has been Non-Executive Director of Sundance Resources Ltd since July 12, 2010. She has experience as a Non-Executive Director over the past 15 years including with iron ore companies, Portman Mining Ltd and Territory Resources Ltd and other listed entities Alinta Limited, Burswood Limited, Evans & Tate. Ms. Harris is currently a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) National Board and a former Western Australian State President. Ms. Harris was previously a partner of KPMG Chartered Accountants, specialising in financial services and superannuation, capital raising, due diligence, initial public offerings, capital structuring of transactions and litigation support. She is Director of Altona Mining Limited, Aurora Oil & Gas Limited and Infigen Energy Limited Group and was Director of Vulcan Resources Limited and Territory Resources Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is Member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Company.

Andrew Marshall

Mr. Andrew (Robin) Marshall has been Non-Executive Director of Sundance Resources Ltd since October 14, 2010. He is a mining executive with an impressive track record of international experience in positions with several global mining groups including Project Director for Vale Inco at its world-class Goro Nickel Project, Vice-President - Asset Development Projects for BHP Billiton Iron Ore, Project manager for North Limited, Project Director with Iron Ore Company of Canada, Manager Project for Forrestania and Project services for Western Mining Corporation and Nedpac (Signet Engineering). Mr. Marshall has also spent a number of years in Africa in senior positions in both project and operational areas. He is Director of Gindalbie Metals Ltd. He is Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is Member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Company.

David Southam

Mr. David Clifford Southam has been Non-Executive Director of Sundance Resources Ltd since September 11, 2013. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience predominantly in the resources industry but also in accounting, banking and finance. He is currently an Executive Director of the ASX200 listed nickel miner, Western Areas Ltd where his role involves many aspects of financial, business development and operational activities. Mr. Southam was previously the Chief Financial Officer of Gindalbie Metals Ltd from May 2008 to November 2010 and was a Director of Karara Mining Ltd. During that time, he was responsible for completing the USD 1.2 billion Karara project financing transaction and securing life-of-mine off-take contracts with consortiums out of China. Mr. Southam also spent almost six years with Brambles IndustriesLimited in a number of finance executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer of Cleanaway Industrial. He has experience in executive and management roles, both in mining and industrial companies. He has also held senior management positions with Australian Railroad Group, ANZ Investment Bank and WMC Resources Ltd.
