Name Description

Brent Williams

Mr. Brent Williams is Non-Executive Independent Chairman of the Board of Sephaku Holdings Ltd., He was appointed a director and chairman of SepHold on 3 March 2012. Brent was admitted as an attorney in 1992 and has held a number of key positions. He is currently the chief executive officer of Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr.

Lelau Mohuba

Dr. Lelau Mohuba is Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director of Sephaku Holdings Ltd. He was appointed a director and founding Chairman of SepHold on 3 February 2005 and became CEO on 28 March 2012. Lelau retired as a medical practitioner in 2001 after a 22-year career. His commercial career began in 2002 and since then he has served in various capacities in several entrepreneurial endeavors.

Neil Crafford-Lazarus

Mr. Neil Robus Crafford-Lazarus is Finance Director, Executive Director of Sephaku Holdings Ltd. He was appointed a director and CEO of SepHold on 1 June 2007 and became financial director on 28 March 2012. Neil started his career in mining finance in 1988. Since then, he has held various senior positions in taxation, business development and corporate finance with companies such as Anglo American Corporation, Gencor and BHP Billiton. He also served as financial director of Xstrata SA Proprietary Limited between 1998 and 2005.

Kenneth Capes

Mr. Kenneth John Capes has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer - Métier, Executive Director. He previously served as Executive director, Managing director – Métier of Sephaku Holdings Limited. effective July 29, 2013. He has extensive experience in the ready-mixed concrete and aggregates industry. Kenneth spent 20 years at Lafarge South Africa, holding various management positions. He was directly involved in the development of the ready-mixed concrete and quarrying business as a general manager. Kenneth’s extensive knowledge, expertise and passion for concrete manufacture led him to be a co-founder of Métier Mixed Concrete in KwaZulu-Natal in 2007.

Jurgens Du Toit

Mr. Jurgens Du Toit has been appointed as the managing director of Métier. Jurgens holds a civil engineering qualification and has obtained a wealth of experience in the mining and building materials industries over the past 24 years. He has held senior management positions in several aggregates and ready-mix businesses in South Africa, Botswana and Lesotho.

Rose Matjiu

Ms. Rose Raisibe Matjiu is Executive director, corporate and social development of Sephaku Holdings Ltd., She holds Certification in Mining and Minerals (Wits), MA (Medical Social Work) (University of Pretoria), BA (Social Work) (University of the North). Rose has experience as a professional community and social worker having practiced for 16 years in both government and the private sector. Her previous experience includes being a director of Boynton, a subsidiary of TSX, AIM and JSE listed Platmin Ltd; Managing Director of SM2 Social and Training Consultants, where she was involved in training on government developmental projects; Provincial Director of the Deaf Federation of South Africa and working on the establishment of disability desks in the office of the deputy president to address the needs of the disabled in South Africa. She is also a member of South African Women in Mining and the Business Women Association.

Pieter Fourie

Mr. Pieter Frederick Fourie is Non-Executive Director of Sephaku Holdings Ltd., since November 2009. Pieter has experience in the cement industry, having been the Marketing Director of Blue Circle (subsequently acquired by Lafarge SA), the Managing Director of the cement business unit of Lafarge SA and Strategic Development Director for Africa based at Lafarge head office in France. Pieter’s role at Blue Circle included sales, distribution and marketing and he was primarily responsible for Blue Circle from a legal cartel into a competitive environment. He was promoted to Managing Director of the cement business unit at Lafarge SA, at that time a company producing 1,7Mt of cement per annum. Pieter subsequently accepted an assignment at Lafarge’s head office, in a strategic development role aimed at integrating newly acquired business in Africa into Lafarge’s portfolio and identifying new business opportunities. Pieter assumed the position of CEO of Sephaku Cement in May 2007 and was appointed a director of Sephaku Holdings in November 2009.

P. Makwana

Mr. P. M. Makwana has been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of Sephaku Holdings Limited. He was appointed a director of SepHold on 11 January 2013. Mpho is the chairman of ArcelorMittal, an independent non-executive director at Adcock Ingram Holdings Limited, Nedbank Group Limited and Nedbank Limited, among others. He also serves on a number of unlisted companies’ and trustee boards.

Moses Ngoasheng

Mr. Moses Modidima Ngoasheng is Non-Executive Independent Director of Sephaku Holdings Ltd., He holds MPhil (University of Sussex), BSocSci (Hons) (University of Natal), BA (Economics and International Politics) (UNISA). He was pivotal in the industrial policy development of the African National Congress (ANC) and was the economic advisor to President Thabo Mbeki from 1995 to 2000. He was the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Safika Holdings, one of the pre-eminent investment holding companies to emerge in the post-1994 era. Moses also serves on numerous boards, including SA Breweries Ltd (the local unit of SABMiller), Dimension Data (Middle East and Africa), Business Leadership South Africa, Safika Oosthuizen Transport, and Safika Highbury Media. Moses also chairs the board of The Kelly Group.

M. J. Van Rensburg

Mrs. M. J. Janse van Rensburg is Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company. She served as Chief Financial Officer and, later, Chief Executive Officer at the Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority between 1994 and 2008. Subsequent thereto, she served as a non-executive director for the Bond Exchange of South Africa, the Airports Company of South Africa, the Johannesburg Water Department and Denel, during which time she also fulfilled the role of a member or chairman of the respective audit committees. She is currently a non-executive director of the Development Bank of South Africa and a non-executive member of the Credit Committee overseeing Africa and India at First National Bank.
