Name Description

Ronald Kruszewski

Mr. Ronald J. Kruszewski serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Company. Mr. Kruszewski is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stifel Financial Corp. and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated. He joined the firm as Chief Executive Officer in September 1997. Mr. Kruszewski serves on the Board of Directors of SIFMA (Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association) and was appointed by the St. Louis Federal Reserve Board of Directors to serve a one year term on the Federal Advisory Council for 2014. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Trustees for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation. He is active in community affairs, serving as Chairman of Downtown Now! and as a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association and Barnes--Jewish Hospital as well as the Board of Trustees of Webster University. He is also past Chairman of the Board of Directors of Downtown St. Louis Partnership, Inc. and past non executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Angelica Corporation. Mr. Kruszewski is a member of the Regional Business Council in St. Louis and of the St. Louis Chapter of World Presidents’ Organization.

Thomas Weisel

Mr. Thomas W. Weisel serves as Co-Chairman of the Board of Stifel Financial Corp. He was elected Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company in August 2010 after the completion of the merger between company and Thomas Weisel Partners Group, Inc. Prior thereto, Mr. Weisel served as Chairman and CEO of Thomas Weisel Partners Group, Inc., a firm he founded, from 1998 to June 2010. Prior to founding Thomas Weisel Partners, Mr. Weisel was a founder, in 1971, of Robertson, Coleman, Siebel & Weisel that became Montgomery Securities in 1978, where he was Chairman and CEO until September 1998. Mr. Weisel served as a director on the NASDAQ Stock Market board of directors from 2002 to 2006.

Thomas Mulroy

Mr. Thomas P. Mulroy serves as Co-President, Co-Director – Institutional Group, Director of Company. Mr. Mulroy joined Stifel in 2005 as part of the firm’s acquisition of Legg Mason Capital Markets. He was named Co-President of Stifel Financial Corp. in 2014 and has served as a Director of Stifel Financial Corp. and Executive Vice President and Director of Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated since December 2005. As Co-Director of Stifel’s Institutional Group, a position he’s held since July 2009, Mr. Mulroy is responsible for overseeing institutional equity sales, trading, and research. From December 2005 through July 2009, he served as Director of Equity Capital Markets. Prior to joining Stifel, Mr. Mulroy was elected Executive Vice President of Legg Mason, Inc. in July 2002 and of Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. in November 2000. Mr. Mulroy became a Senior Vice President of Legg Mason, Inc. in July 2000 and Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. in August 1998. Mr. Mulroy is Chairman of the Board of Stifel Nicolaus Europe Limited. Victor Nesi

Mr. Victor J. Nesi is a Co-President, Co-Director – Institutional Group, Director of Company. Victor J. Nesi joined Stifel in 2009 and was named Co-President of Stifel Financial Corp. in 2014. In addition, he is Co-Director of the firm’s Institutional Group and a member of the Board of Directors of Stifel Financial Corp. In his 25-year investment banking career, Mr. Nesi has worked closely with clients on strategic advisory projects totaling in excess of $200 billion, including exclusive sales, cross-industry mergers, restructurings, and domestic and cross-border acquisitions. On the financing side, Mr. Nesi has advised clients on investment-grade and non-investment-grade debt, as well as on numerous equity and equity-linked transactions, including the then largest IPO in U.S. history, the AT&T $10.6 billion letter stock carve-out of AT&T Wireless. Before joining Stifel, Mr. Nesi was a Senior Vice President of Merrill Lynch and Global Head of the Technology, Telecommunications & Media Industries Group within Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity. Immediately prior to joining the group in 2007, Mr. Nesi was the Head of Americas Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch with responsibility for the firm's investment banking origination activities for corporate, financial, and sovereign clients in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Before assuming this role in March 2005, Mr. Nesi was head of the Telecom & Media Investment Banking Group, with responsibility for Merrill Lynch's investment banking activities in those sectors. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 1996, Mr. Nesi spent seven years as an investment banker at Salomon Brothers Inc. and Goldman Sachs. Prior to becoming an investment banker, he practiced corporate and securities law for four years with the law firm of Shea & Gould. Mr. Nesi received a B.A. from Georgetown University in 1982 and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law School in 1985

Richard Himelfarb

Mr. Richard J. Himelfarb is Vice Chairman of the Board of Stifel Financial Corp. He has served as Senior Vice President and Director of our company and Executive Vice President and Director of Stifel since December 2005. Mr. Himelfarb was designated Chairman of Investment Banking in July 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Himelfarb served as Executive Vice President and Director of Investment Banking from December 2005 through July 2009. Prior to joining company, Mr. Himelfarb served as a director of Legg Mason, Inc. from November 1983 and Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. from January 2005. Mr. Himelfarb was elected Executive Vice President of Legg Mason and Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. in July 1995, having previously served as Senior Vice President from November 1983.

Ben Plotkin

Mr. Ben A. Plotkin serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Company. He served Vice Chairman of the Board, Senior Vice President of Stifel Financial Corp. He has been an Executive Vice President of Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated since February 28, 2007. He has responsibility for developing our corporate strategy and advising our investment clients. Mr. Plotkin served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ryan Beck & Company, Inc. from 1997 until its acquisition by the Company in February 2007. Mr. Plotkin was elected Executive Vice President of Ryan Beck in 1990 after serving as its Senior Vice President in 1989, and before that, its First Vice President in 1987. Mr. Plotkin joined Ryan Beck in May of 1987 as a Director and Vice President in the Investment Banking Division.

S. Chad Estep

Mr. S. Chad Estep serves as Senior Vice President of Stifel Financial Corp. Mr. Estep has been Chief Compliance Officer of Stifel Nicolaus since December 2005. Mr. Estep joined Stifel Nicolaus as the Director of Internal Audit in April 2005 following the Company’s acquisition of certain assets from PowellJohnson, Inc. where Mr. Estep served as the Controller from October 2002 to December 2004. Mr. Estep was employed by A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. from 2000 to 2001 where he worked as a Financial Advisor. Mr. Estep worked at J.C. Bradford & Co. as the Financial and Regulatory Reporting Manager from 1998 to 2000.

James Marischen

Mr. James M. Marischen is the Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of the company since January 2014. Mr. Marischen has also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Stifel Bank & Trust since February 2008. Prior to joining our company in 2008, Mr. Marischen worked in public accounting at KPMG LLP.

Mark Fisher

Mr. Mark P. Fisher is Senior Vice President, Co-General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of Company. Mark P. Fisher is Co-General Counsel of Stifel Financial Corp. He handles mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and joint ventures, corporate finance, and U.S. financial institutions regulations and compliance matters for Stifel. Mr. Fisher joined Stifel in 2010 following its acquisition of Thomas Weisel Partners, where he served as General Counsel and Secretary to the Board of Directors. He managed all aspects of the firm’s legal and compliance efforts and was particularly involved in the firm’s initial public offering in early 2006. Prior to joining Thomas Weisel Partners, Mr. Fisher was with the Financial Institutions Group of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York. He advised on public and private mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities issuances, the development of new products and services, and the resolution of regulatory matters. Mr. Fisher earned an A.B. from Stanford University, a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Chicago, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School and is a member of the New York state bar.

David Minnick

Mr. David M. Minnick serves as Senior Vice President, Co-General Counsel, Co-Corporate Secretary of Company. He was Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of Stifel Financial Corp. He has served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the company and Stifel Nicolaus since October 2004. Prior thereto, Mr. Minnick served as Vice President and Counsel for A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. from August 2002 through October 2004, Senior Regional Attorney for NASD Regulation, Inc. from November 2000 through July 2002, as an attorney in private law practice from September 1998 through November 2000, and as General Counsel and Managing Director of Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. from October 1990 through August 1998.

Bernard Burkemper

Mr. Bernard N. Burkemper serves as Senior Vice President, Treasurer, Controller of Stifel Financial Corp. Mr. Burkemper has been Controller of the Company since April 1991 and Chief Financial Officer of Stifel Nicolaus since October 2006.

Thomas Michaud

Mr. Thomas B. Michaud serves as a Director of Company. Thomas B. Michaud has spent nearly three decades at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. He was named President and Chief Executive Officer of KBW in October 2011, having served as Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer since September 2001. Under Mr. Michaud’s leadership, KBW has become one of the leading investment banking firms to the financial services industry in both the United States and Europe. The company is regularly recognized for its leadership in the areas of equity research, mergers & acquisitions (including cross-border transactions), capital raising, and equity trading. Mr. Michaud maintains strong personal relationships with leading industry executives and has been instrumental in executing many of KBW’s largest transactions. KBW became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stifel Financial Corp. in February 2013 and Mr. Michaud is a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Michaud is a graduate of Middlebury College and earned an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He currently serves on the Board of the Foreign Policy Association of New York and the Middlebury College Capital Campaign Committee. He is a past Board Member of the Greenwich Chapter of the American Red Cross and a former Member of the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting.

David Sliney

Mr. David D. Sliney serves as Senior Vice President of Stifel Financial Corp., since May 2003. In 1997, Mr. Sliney began a Strategic Planning and Finance role with Stifel and has served as a Director of Stifel since May 2003. Mr. Sliney is also responsible for our company’s Operations and Technology departments. Mr. Sliney joined Stifel in 1992, and between 1992 and 1995, Mr. Sliney worked as a fixed income trader and later assumed responsibility for the firm’s Equity Syndicate Department.

Mr. Bruce A. Beda is an Independent Director of Stifel Financial Corp. He is Chief Executive Officer, Kilbourn Capital Management, LLC, a financial asset manager (2001 – present); Held various management positions at two Fortune 200 companies for 15 years and was Chief Financial Officer of a public company. He has M.B.A., Finance, University of Michigan and B.B.A, Accounting, University of Michigan.

Michael Brown

Mr. Michael W. Brown is an Independent Director of Stifel Financial Corp., since August 3, 2010. Mr. Brown was an officer of Microsoft Corporation from December 1989 through July 1997, serving as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from August 1994 to July 1997, and in various positions before that as Vice President - Finance and Treasurer. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Brown spent 18 years with Deloitte & Touche LLP in various positions. Mr. Brown is also a director of EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC), VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), and Administaff, Inc. (NYSE: ASF), in addition to several private companies. Mr. Brown served as a director of TWPG from February 2007 to June 2010. Mr. Brown is a past Chairman of the NASDAQ Stock Market board of directors and a past governor of the National Association of Securities Dealers.

Charles Dill

Mr. Charles A. Dill is an Independent Director of Stifel Financial Corp. Charles A. Dill is a Principal of Two Rivers Associates, a private equity firm, and has been a venture capital and private equity investor since November 1995. Two Rivers Associates is the successor to Gateway Associates where Mr. Dill served as a General Partner beginning in 1995. From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Dill was the President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Bridge Information Systems, Inc., a company providing online information and trading services. Mr. Dill was President of AVX Corporation, a manufacturer of electronic equipment from 1987 to 1990. Mr. Dill is a director of two public companies: Zoltek Companies, Inc. and TransAct Technologies Incorporated.

John Dubinsky

Dubinsky has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Westmoreland Associates, LLC, a financial consulting company, since 1999; President and Chief Executive Officer of CORTEX (Center of Research, Technology and Entrepreneurial Expertise) since 2003; President Emeritus of Firstar Bank from 1999 until 2001; Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercantile Bank from 1997 until its merger with U.S. Bank National Association (formerly, Firstar Bank, N.A.) in 1999; previously President and CEO of Mark Twain Bancshares, Inc.; Vice-Chairman: BJC HealthCare; Trustee: Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University. Mr. Dubinsky was named Chairman of the board of Stifel Bank & Trust in April 2007. Mr. Dubinsky is currently on the board of directors of Insituform Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: INSU) and Accentia Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ABPI).

Robert Grady

Mr. Robert Edward Grady is an Independent Director of Stifel Financial Corp., since August 3, 2010. Mr. Grady is currently a partner and managing director at Cheyenne Capital Fund, a private equity investment firm. Prior to joining Cheyenne Capital Fund, from 2000 through 2009, Mr. Grady served as a partner at The Carlyle Group, a global alternative asset management firm, where he was Chairman and Managing Partner of Carlyle Venture Partners, the firm's U.S. venture and growth capital organization. Mr. Grady joined Carlyle in 2000 as global head of Venture Capital and served as a Member of Carlyle's Management Committee. Mr. Grady served as Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association's Board of Directors from 2006 to 2007, having joined the board in 2002. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Grady was a Managing Director and member of the Management Committee at Robertson Stephens & Company, an emerging growth investment bank. Mr. Grady previously served in the White House as Deputy Assistant to President George H.W. Bush and as Executive Associate Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Mr. Grady also served for a decade on the faculty of the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he taught courses on environmental policy and regulation. Mr. Grady is also a director of Maxim Integrated Products (NASDAQ: MXIM) and several privately-held companies. He is currently Chairman of the New Jersey Council of Economic Advisors and a member of the New Jersey State Investment Council. Mr. Frederick O. Hanser is an Independent Director of Stifel Financial Corp. Mr. Hanser has been the Vice Chairman and a director of the St. Louis Cardinals, LLC since 1996, and is President and a director of SLC Holdings, LLC, Manager and Holding Company for the St. Louis Cardinals, LLC. Prior to his role with the St. Louis Cardinals organization, Mr. Hanser practiced law for 30 years, first with the firm of Fordyce and Mayne and then with Armstrong, Teasdale LLP.
