Name Description

Hans Aas

Mr. Hans Petter Aas is the Chairman of the Board of Ship Finance International Ltd. He has served on the Audit Committee since 2010. Mr. Aas has a long career as banker in the international shipping and offshore market, and retired from his position as Global Head of the Shipping, Offshore and Logistics Division of DnB NOR in August 2008. He joined DnB NOR (then Bergen Bank) in 1989, and has previously worked for the Petroleum Division of the Norwegian Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Energy, as well as for Vesta Insurance and Nevi Finance. Mr. Aas is also a director of Golar LNG Limited, Knightsbridge Tankers Ltd., Knutsen Offshore Tankers ASA, JO Tankers, and Gearbulk Holding Limited.

Ole Hjertaker

Mr. Ole B. Hjertaker serves as Chief Executive Officer of Ship Finance Management AS, a subsidiary of Ship Finance International Ltd. Prior to which he served as Chief Financial Officer from September 2006. Mr Hjertaker also served Ship Finance Management AS as Interim Chief Financial Officer between July 2009 and January 2011. Prior to joining Ship Finance, Mr. Hjertaker was employed in the Corporate Finance division of DnB NOR Markets, a shipping and offshore bank. Mr. Hjertaker has corporate and investment banking experience, mainly within the maritime/transportation industries.

Harald Gurvin

Mr. Harald Gurvin serves as Chief Financial Officer of Ship Finance Management AS, a subsidiary of Ship Finance International Ltd. Prior to which he served as Senior Vice President from August 2008. Before joining Ship Finance in July 2006, Mr. Gurvin spent seven years with the global shipping group of Fortis Bank, specializing in shipping and offshore finance. Mr. Gurvin has an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from the CASS Business School in London and an MSc in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Cecilie Fredriksen

Ms. Cecilie Astrup Fredriksen is Director of Ship Finance International Ltd. Ms. Fredriksen is the daughter of Mr. John Fredriksen and is currently employed by Frontline Corporate Services in London and serves as a director on several boards including Aktiv Kapital ASA, Frontline, Archer Limited (previously Seawell Limited) and Golden Ocean. Ms. Fredriksen received a BA in Business and Spanish from the London Metropolitan University in 2006.

Paul Leand

Mr. Paul Leand, Jr., serves as Director of Ship Finance International Ltd. Mr. Leand is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of AMA Capital Partners LLC, or AMA, an investment bank specializing in the maritime industry. From 1989 to 1998 Mr. Leand served at the First National Bank of Maryland where he managed the Bank's Railroad Division and its International Maritime Division. He has worked in the U.S. capital markets in connection with AMA's restructuring and mergers and acquisitions practices. Mr. Leand serves as a member of American Marine Credit LLC's Credit Committee and served as a member of the Investment Committee of AMA Shipping Fund I, a private equity fund formed and managed by AMA.

Harald Thorstein

Mr. Harald Thorstein serves as Director of Ship Finance International Ltd. Mr. Thorstein is currently employed by Frontline Corporate Services in London, prior to which he was employed in the Corporate Finance division of DnB NOR Markets, specializing in the offshore and shipping sectors. Mr. Thorstein has an MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Kate Blankenship

Ms. Kate Blankenship is an Independent Director of Ship Finance International Ltd. Ms. Blankenship served as the Company's Chief Accounting Officer and Company Secretary from October 2003 to October 2005. Ms. Blankenship has been a director of Frontline since August 2003, a director of Golar LNG Limited since July 2003, a director of Golden Ocean since October 2004, a director of Seadrill since May 2005, a director of Archer Limited (previously Seawell Limited) since August 2007 and a director of Independent Tankers Corporation Limited since February 2008.
