Name Description
Conway, Robert Robert Conway, a founding member of Conway, Del Genio, Gries & Co., LLC, was named Chief Executive Officer of Sharper Image Corporation. Mr. Conway has over 25 years of experience advising companies on financial and operational issues as a banker, consultant and senior executive officer. The Company also retained a team of specialists from Conway, Del Genio, Gries & Co., LLC to assist Mr. Conway in addressing business improvements and help implement necessary operational changes.
Maruniak, Joyce Ms. Maruniak is Senior Vice President - Operations of Sharper Image Corporation. Most recently, Ms. Maruniak had been the vice president of supply chain solutions for Best Buy in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for the past five years. While at Best Buy, she was instrumental in leading strategy development and implementation for the redesign of that company's product fulfillment capabilities. Prior to Best Buy, Ms. Maruniak was vice president North American supply chain and corporate director of global supply at Sola International from 1999 to 2002, where she successfully consolidated national distribution centers and improved both inventory management and service levels. Prior to that, she was a senior partner with Paul F. Politte Consulting from 1997 to 1999, and she held various supply chain and engineering positions with E.I. Dupont de Nemours from 1984-1997. Ms. Maruniak has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Delaware.
Fields, William William R. Fields has been a Director of Sharper Image Corporation since July 2006. Mr. Fields has been Chairman, Intersource Co. Ltd. since 2004. Mr. Fields was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Factory 2-U Stores, Inc. from 2003 to 2004. Mr. Fields was President and Chief Executive Officer of Apec, Ltd. from 1999 to 2002. Mr. Fields is a Director of Lexmark International and Graphic Packaging Corporation.
Liebman, Howard Howard M. Liebman has been a director of Sharper Image Corporation since July 2006. Mr. Liebman has been President and Chief Operating Officer of the Hobart West Group since April 2007, where he had previously served as a consultant since June 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Liebman was President and Chief Financial Officer of Shorewood Packaging Corporation from 1999 to 2000 when Shorewood Packaging Company was acquired by International Paper Company. Mr. Liebman continued as Executive Vice President of Shorewood Packaging Corporation until his retirement in 2005. Mr. Liebman is a Certified Public Accountant and was an audit partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP (and its predecessors) from 1974 to 1994.
