Name Description

Christopher Connor

Mr. Christopher M. Connor is no longer a Director of the Company., effective April, 2017. He was Executive Chairman of the Board of the Company., effective on December 31, 2016. Mr. Conner served as Chairman from April 2000 to January 2016 and Chief Executive Officer from October 1999 to January 2016. Mr. Connor has served as a Director since October 1999 and has been employed with the Company since January 1983. He was Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of The Sherwin-Williams Company. He has served as Chairman of Sherwin-Williams since April 2000 and Chief Executive Officer of Sherwin-Williams since October 1999. Mr. Connor has been with Sherwin-Williams since 1983 in roles of increasing responsibility. Mr. Connor is also a Director of Eaton Corporation and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Mr. Connor is a former Director of National City Corporation.

John Morikis

Mr. John G. Morikis has been appointed as Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of the Company., effective January 1, 2017. He served as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company since January 2016. Mr. Morikis served as President and Chief Operating Officer from October 2006 to January 2016. Mr. Morikis joined Sherwin-Williams in December 1984 as a management trainee in the Company's Paint Stores Group and has held many key leadership positions, including nine years as President and Chief Operating Officer, during his 32 years with the Company.

Prior to his appointment as Senior Vice President - Corporate Controller, he served as Vice President - Corporate Controller from May 2010 to October 2014. Mr. Mistysyn also served as Vice President - Assistant Corporate Controller from August 2009 to May 2010, Vice President - Controller, Paint and Coatings Division from November 2006 to August 2009, and Vice President - Controller, Consumer Division from February 2003 to November 2006. Additionally, Mr. Mistysyn served in various roles in our Paint Stores Group and Product Finishes Division. Mr. Mistysyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University.

Catherine Kilbane

Ms. Catherine M. Kilbane, J.D., serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of The Sherwin-Williams Company, since January 2013. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Kilbane was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of American Greetings Corporation from October 2003 to December 2012. Ms. Kilbane has been employed with the Company since January 2013.

Mr. Arthur F. Anton serves as an Independent Director of The Sherwin-Williams Co. He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Swagelok Company (manufacturer and provider of fluid system products and services) since January 2004. Richard Kramer

Mr. Richard J. Kramer serves as an Independent Director of The Sherwin-Williams Co., since April 18, 2012. He has served as Chief Executive Officer and President of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (global manufacturer, marketer and distributor of tires) since April 2010 and Chairman of the Board of Goodyear since October 2010. Prior to joining Goodyear, Mr. Kramer was with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for 13 years, including two years as a partner. Mr. Kramer is also a Director of Goodyear and John Carroll University.

Susan Kropf

Mrs. Susan J. Kropf is an Independent Director of The Sherwin-Williams Co., since 2003. Prior to her retirement in January 2007, served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Avon Products, Inc. (global manufacturer and marketer of beauty and related products) since January 2001. Mrs. Kropf served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, North America and Global Business Operations, of Avon from December 1999 to January 2001 and Executive Vice President and President, North America, of Avon from March 1997 to December 1999. Mrs. Kropf is also a Director of Coach, Inc., MeadWestvaco Corporation and The Kroger Co.

Christine Poon

Ms. Christine A. Poon is an Independent Director of The Sherwin-Williams Co., since 2014. Ms. Poon has served as Professor of Management and Human Resources at The Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University since October 2014. Ms. Poon served as Dean and John W. Berry, Sr. Chair in Business at The Max M. Fisher College of Business from April 2009 to October 2014. Matthew Thornton

Mr. Matthew Thornton, III is appointed as an Independent Director of The Sherwin-Williams Company effective July 16, 2014. He began his career with Federal Express in 1978 as a package handler while a college student at the University of Memphis. He held various management positions with Federal Express before being named Vice President – Regional Operations (Central Region) in 1998. He was promoted to Senior Vice President – Air, Ground & Freight Services in 2004 before being named Senior Vice President, US Operations, FedEx Express in 2006. Mr. Thornton holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Steven Wunning

Mr. Steven H. Wunning is Independent Director of The Sherwin-Williams Company since 2015. Mr. Wunning began his career at Caterpillar in 1973 and held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in the areas of quality, manufacturing, product support and logistics, including Vice President of Cat Logistics in 1990 and President in 1994. In 1998, he was named Corporate Vice President with responsibility for the Logistics & Product Services Division, and in 2000, he became Corporate Vice President with responsibility for the Logistics Division. He was appointed Group President in 2004. Mr. Wunning has an undergraduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and an Executive MBA from the University of Illinois.
