Name Description

Abdul Ghani Othman

Tan Sri Dato' Abdul Ghani Othman has been Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Sime Darby Berhad since July 1, 2013. He holds Bachelor's Degree in Economics (Hons) from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia and Master's Degree in Political Economics from University of Queensland, Australia. He began his career with the Faculty of economics, University of Malaya and has held various positions in the Malaysian Government including Deputy Minister of Energy, Telecommunications and Post, Deputy Minister of Finance, Minister of Youth and Sports and Chief Minister of Johor. He was former Chairman of Johor Corporation. He is a current member of the Board of Trustees of the World Islamic economic Forum (WIeF) Foundation and an Advisor of City University College of Science & Technology. He is Director at Sime Darby Property Berhad.

Mohd Bakke Salleh

Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Bakke Salleh has been Group Chief Executive Officer, President and Executive Director at Sime Darby Berhad since November 27, 2010. He has a Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (University of London), United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He sits on the board of Eastern & Oriental Berhad, Sime Darby Property Berhad and Yayasan Sime Darby. Abdul Aziz Wan Abdullah

Tan Sri Dato' Sri Dr. Wan Abdul Aziz Wan Abdullah has been Non-Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of the Board since July 31, 2015, after being Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad since December 10, 2012. He holds Bachelor of Economics in Applied Economics from University of Malaya, Master in Philosophy in Development Studies from Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, UK, PhD in Business Economics from the School of Business and Economic Studies at University of Leeds, UK and has attended Advanced Management Program at Harvard University, USA. He held various senior positions in the Economic Planning Unit in the Prime Minister’s Department including Director of Energy Section and Deputy Director General (macro) and was the Deputy Secretary in the Economics and International Division, Deputy Secretary General of Treasury (Policy), Federal Treasury and Secretary General of Treasury in the Ministry of Finance. He is presently a Director of the Sabah Economic Development and Investment Authority (SeDIA). Poh Keow Tong

Datuk Tong Poh Keow has been Group Chief Financial Officer of Sime Darby Berhad since June 24, 2008. She was Chief Financial Officer of the Plantation Division of Sime Darby Berhad prior to her present appointment in June 2008. She was Head of Group Finance and Administration and Chief Finance Officer of Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad (KGB). She joined KGB Group in 1983 as an Accountant and Assistant Company Secretary of Highlands & Lowlands Berhad before becoming General Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting and then Group General Manager, Finance (Group Accounting and Financial Reporting). Zulkifli Zainal Abidin

Mr. Zulkifli Zainal Abidin has been Group Chief Human Resource Officer of Sime Darby Berhad since July 1, 2011. He began his career with Sime Darby Berhad in 1989 as Head of Human Resource, Malaysia Region until 1997. In 1999, he joined Negara Properties (M) Berhad as Senior Manager, Human Resource & Administration. He joined Golden Hope Plantations Berhad (Property Division) as Acting Deputy General Manager Human Resource in 2002 and was confirmed as Deputy General Manager Human Resource in 2003. A year later, he was transferred to Golden Hope Plantations (Head Office) as Deputy General Manager, Human Resources and was promoted to General Manager the same year. He was appointed as Head of Human Resource, Plantation & Agri-business Division after the merger of Golden Hope Plantations Berhad, Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad and the Company in November 2007. He was subsequently promoted as Group Head, Group Human Resources in October 2009 prior to his present appointment. He holds a Masters in International Affairs as well as a Bachelor in Business Administration from Ohio University, United States. He has also attended the Harvard Senior Management Development Program.

Suit Mae Choo

Ms. Choo Suit Mae has been Group General Counsel of Sime Darby Berhad since August 20, 2010. She holds LLB from University of East Anglia and LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from King's College, University of London. She has over 25 years of experience as a corporate/commercial lawyer. She began her career in private practice in Malaysia and has also worked as a lawyer in Hong Kong with Reed Smith Richards Butler, Denton Wilde Sapte and Victor Chu & Co. She is one of the founding partners of Zul Rafique & Partners and a partner in Skrine, one of the largest law firms in Malaysia. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar, the Law Society of Hong Kong and the Solicitors Roll of England & Wales. Her practice focus included mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, structured finance/ asset securitisations, cross-border joint ventures, corporate finance and corporate/debt restructuring.

Scott Cameron

Mr. Scott William Cameron has been Managing Director - Industrial Division of Sime Darby Berhad since October 1, 2007. He started his career at Pricewaterhouse in Brisbane, Sydney and New York, before joining Hastings Deering as the Finance Director in June 1992. He was the Managing Director of Hastings Deering Group of Caterpillar Dealership which covers Queensland, Northern Territory, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands. He holds a degree in Commerce from University of Queensland in 1978 and is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Franki Dass

Datuk Franki Anthony Dass has been Managing Director - Plantation Division at Sime Darby Berhad since December 1, 2010. He started his career in Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad in 1980 as Assistant Manager and has over 20 years of plantation experience. After various postings across Malaysia, he assumed post of General Manager of PT Minamas in Indonesia in 2002. He subsequently became Chief Operating Officer of PT Minamas in 2004, before becoming its Chief Executive Officer in 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (now Universiti Putra Malaysia) and has completed various management and Master of Business Administration programs with the Malaysian Institute of Management and the Asian Institute of Management.

Jauhari Hamidi

Dato' Ir. Jauhari Hamidi has been Acting Managing Director - Property Division of Sime Darby Berhad since April 1, 2015. He was Director of Special Projects and the Executive Vice President for Utilities Division and Managing Director of Sime UEP Properties Bhd. He has served in various capacities since joining the Group 27 years ago. He is a registered professional engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and Member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia. He has undergone the Directors-Training Program and Harvard Business School Senior Management Development Program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Structural Engineering from University College Cardiff (Cardiff University), the United Kingdom.

Cheow Hock Lee

Dato' Lee (Lawrence) Cheow Hock has been Managing Director - Motors Division of Sime Darby Berhad since January 1, 2008. He joined the KSDB Group in April 1981. He was the Divisional Director of KDSB’s Motors Division before he assumed his present position. He was the Managing Director of subsidiaries within the Hyundai Group of KDSB’s Motor Division and has managed the Motor Division in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the People’s Republic of China, including Hong Kong and Macau. He is an Accountant by profession and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Chi Tim Lee

Mr. Lee (Timothy) Chi Tim has been Managing Director - Energy & Utilities Division, China Operations of Sime Darby Berhad since December 15, 2011. He manages the Ports & Logistics and Water Management business units located in Weifang and Jining within the Shandong province in China. Mr. Lee has over 19 years of operational experience in the ports and container terminal management industry in Hong Kong, one of the world’s busiest ports. Prior to joining Sime Darby, he held the position of Operations Manager – Hong Kong Business Unit for Modern Terminals Limited, the second port operator in Hong Kong. Mr. Lee was formerly the Chairman of the Sea Cargo Customer Liaison Group in 2010, a committee organised by the Hong Kong Customs & Excise Department to gather industry to improve port competitiveness. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada.

Alan Hamzah Sendut

Mr. Alan Hamzah Sendut has been Managing Director - Energy & Utilities Division, Non-China Operations of Sime Darby Berhad since April 1, 2015. Before that, he had been its Executive Vice President - Strategy & Business Development since September 16, 2010. He oversees the Corporate Finance, Value Management & Investor Relations, Corporate Planning and Budgeting, Capital Management, Merger & Acquisition and Special Projects departments. He started his career with Price Waterhouse, London, and had worked with several multinational companies in Malaysia before joining KSDB in 1996. He has held various senior financial positions within the KSDB Group, including Finance Director of Tractors Malaysia Holdings Berhad and Finance Director of Consolidated Plantations Berhad. He was the Global Operations Manager, Payment Services for BHP Billiton Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Computer Science from University of Wales, the United Kingdom. He is a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) by profession and is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

John Arkosi

Mr. John Edward Arkosi, OBE, has been Group Head - Group Compliance Office and Group Corporate Assurance of Sime Darby Berhad since July 1, 2012. Mr. Arkosi was appointed Group Head of Compliance on February 1, 2011. Prior to his present appointments to Group Head Office, Mr. Arkosi was Vice President GCA for Motors and Industrial Divisions and in the 12 months leading up to the merger of Kumpulan Sime Darby Berhad, Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad and Golden Hope Plantations Berhad in 2007, he also assumed the role of Head, GCA Sime Darby Plantations. Prior to his Malaysia-based appointments, Mr. Arkosi was Regional Audit Manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific operations for Sime Darby Berhad based in Brisbane, Australia. Mr. Arkosi spent over 12 years in Papua New Guinea (PNG) with Coopers & Lybrand (now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers) in audit and advisory, following which, he held several other senior employment and consultancy roles. Whilst in PNG, Mr. Arkosi was awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Her Majesty the Queen for Services to business and the community in the 1997 Queens Birthday Honors. Mr. Arkosi holds an accounting degree from Curtin University, Australia. He is Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) since 1985 and Member of CPA Australia and the Institute of Internal Auditors, Australia and Malaysia.

Leela Barrock

Ms. Leela Barrock has been Group Head - Communications at Sime Darby Berhad since January 21, 2009. She is Former Associate Editor of The Edge Business Weekly covering capital markets and the corporate sector. She is Former Group Head of Corporate Responsibility in Sime Darby Berhad. She was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales (1992). She heads the functions of Group Communications, Corporate Affairs and Group Investor Relations as well as the Secretariat for the High Carbon Stock Study of the Sustainable Palm Oil Manifesto.

Glenn Daly

Mr. Glenn Charles Daly, CPA, has been Group Head - Risk Management of Sime Darby Berhad since March 1, 2011. He has over 25 years of work experience in the Asia Pacific region whereby he spent several years working in the professional services industry specializing in risk management and internal audit. He was Director at Deloitte, Brisbane in Australia, Partner with Ernst & Young in Singapore, Principal with Ernst & Young in Sydney, Australia prior to his present appointment. Mr. Daly provided services to a range of clients in the mining, manufacturing, engineering, oil & gas, logistics, property, telecommunications, agribusiness and public sector. Mr. Daly has financial management experience having worked previously for the Departments of Defence and Finance, as Financial Controller of an engineering facility at Australian Defence Industries (ADI) and as Manager of Internal Audit in ADI’s corporate headquarters. Mr. Daly holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from the Monash University in Melbourne and is Member of CPA Australia.

Philip Kunjappy

Mr. Philip Kunjappy has been Group Chief Trading & Procurement Officer of Sime Darby Berhad since October 1, 2010. He is responsible for managing the legal and secretarial functions, as well as the commodity trading and marketing activities, and the non-core business operations of the Group. He started his career with Attlee, Edge & Lambert in Birmingham, the United Kingdom and subsequently joined Price Waterhouse, Kuala Lumpur in 1983. He also served as Finance Manager in Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd, Finance Director in Island & Peninsular Bhd and Senior Executive Director, Oils & Fats Subsidiaries in Felda Holdings Bhd prior to joining the Company on October 1, 2010. He is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Taxation.

Simon Lord

Dr. Simon Lord has been Group Chief Sustainability Officer at Sime Darby Berhad since April 1, 2015. He has held various senior leadership positions in new Britain Palm Oil Limited (NPBOL) Group including the Group Director of Sustainability, Executive Director for new Britain Plantation Services (Singapore), Director of NPBOL Foundations, Had of Research and Head of Technical Services. He has over 30 years of management experience in the agricultural and oil palm sector. He is Former member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Natural Capital and Biodiversity. Currently he is a Director of Global Sustainability Associates and Trustee of Orang-utan Land Trust.

Hari Nair

Mr. Hari Nair has been Group Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at Sime Darby Berhad since August 6, 2015. He has held various senior leadership positions including the Global Managing Director for Kimberly Clark’s Global Innovation Center and Partner as well as Vice President of Emerging Markets for Innosight llC. He spent 14 years with Procter & Gamble, where he held various leadership roles in Research & Development both in the United States of America and China. Norzilah Megawati Abdul Rahman

Puan Norzilah Megawati Abdul Rahman has been Group Company Secretary of Sime Darby Berhad since September 29, 2007. She has held various senior leadership positions in Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad including manager in the Group Chief executive’s office, Controller of Corporate Business Development and monitoring, Director of Corporate Business Development and human Resource and head of Group legal & Compliance. She served as an executive in many areas, among others, investment analysis, money market trading, corporate secretarial and legal as well as a manager in the Group Chief executive’s office in Permodalan Nasional Berhad. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar and is a licensed Company Secretary.

Mohd Daud Bakar

Datuk Dr. Mohd Daud Bakar, Ph.D. has been Non-Independent Non-Executive Director at Sime Darby Berhad since June 1, 2016. He received his first degree in Shariah from the University of Kuwait in 1988 and obtained his PhD from the University of St. Andrews, United Kingdom in 1993. In 2002, he completed his external Bachelor of Jurisprudence at the University of Malaya. He is the Founder and Group Chairman of Amanie Group, a global boutique Shariah advisory firm with offices in Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Luxembourg, Cairo, Kazakhstan, Oman, Australia, South Korea and Dublin. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Amanie Nexus Sdn Bhd (Kuala Lumpur), Chairman of the Shariah Advisory Councils of Bank Negara Malaysia, the Securities Commission and the Labuan Financial Services Authority, and Chairman of the Shari'ah Committee of the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation. Datuk Dr Mohd Daud is also a Shariah Board member of National Bank of Oman (Oman), Noor Islamic Bank (Dubai), Amundi Asset Management (France), Morgan Stanley (Dubai), Bank of London and Middle East (London), BNP Paribas (Bahrain), Bank Al Khair (Bahrain), Dow Jones Islamic Market Index (New York) and SEDCO Capital (Saudi Arabia). Yusof bin Basiran

Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Yusof bin Basiran has been Non-Independent Non-Executive Director at Sime Darby Berhad since November 16, 2010. Samsudin bin Osman

Tan Sri Samsudin bin Osman is Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad. He joined the board on December 19, 2008, and served as Acting Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board from November 8, 2012 until July 1, 2013. He holds Bachelor of Arts from University of Malaya in 1969 and Master in Public Administration from Pennsylvania State University in 1980. Zainal Abidin Jamal

Mr. Zainal Abidin Jamal has been Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad since March 1, 2016. He holds LLB from University of Singapore. He is a practising corporate and commercial lawyer. He is the founder of Zainal Abidin & Co in 1987 where he is the Senior Partner. Muhammad Lutfi

Bapak Muhammad Lutfi has been Non-Independent Non-Executive Director at Sime Darby Berhad since November 24, 2015. He led the Jakarta Chapter of the Indonesia Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) from 1998 to 2001 before he was elected as the National Chairman of HIPMI in 2001. Bapak Muhammad Lutfi first joined the government of Indonesia in 2005 when he was appointed as the Chairman of the Indonesia Coordinating Board of Investment by the former President of Indonesia. Muhamad Fuad Abdullah

Ir. Dr. Muhamad Fuad Abdullah has been Independent Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad since Februray 4, 2013. He is a member of Governance & Audit Committee and Sustainability Committee. He began his career with the Malaysian Public Works Department. He is Former Chief Executive Officer of Kausar Corporation Sdn Bhd and Managing Director of Five-H Associates Sdn Bhd. Zaiton binti Mohd Hassan

Datuk Zaiton binti Mohd Hassan has been Senior Independent Non-Executive Director at Sime Darby Berhad since November 23, 2015. She was Audit trainee in PricewaterhouseCoopers, Project Officer in Bank Pembangunan (M) Bhd, Fund Manager in Bapema Corporation Sdn Bhd and President/Executive Director of Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad. She served 12 years with Maybank in various senior positions, including General Manager, Group Strategic Planning. She also sits on the board of BIMB Holdings Berhad, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad and Dolphin International Berhad. She is Current Chairman of the Private Pension Administrator Malaysia, Vice President of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Managing Director of Capital Intelligence Advisors Sdn Bhd.

Rohana binti Tan Sri Mahmood

Dato' Rohana binti Tan Sri Mahmood has been Independent Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad since June 24, 2014. She holds Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons) in Politics from University of Essex, United Kingdom and Masters in International Relations from University of Sussex, United Kingdom. She is Former Assistant Secretary of the Planning Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia, Former Chairman of Tropicana Corporation Berhad and former Chairman and co-founder of Ethos Capital. Presently, she is Chairman and Founder of RM Capital Partners & Associates Sdn Bhd and Chairman of the Advisory Council and Founding member of the Kuala Lumpur Business Club. She is member of the APEC Business Advisory Council, Global Council of the Asia Society, New York, Advisory Board of ACE Limited International, New York and the Malaysian Committee of the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific as well as a Board member of the Pacific Basin Economic Council, Hong Kong. She is Distinguished Fellow and Board member of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies Malaysia and a Trustee of the Malaysian Youth Orchestra Foundation. Haw Kuang Lim

Dato' Sri Lim Haw Kuang has been Independent Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad since August 26, 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Computing Science) from Imperial College, University of London. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from IMD Business School, Switzerland (formerly International Management Institute, Geneva). He served 34 years with Shell in various senior positions including Executive Chairman of Shell Companies in China, Vice President of Corporate Planning & Strategy, Royal Dutch Shell, President of Oil Products for Asia Pacific and Middle East, Chairman of Shell Companies in Malaysia and managing Director of Shell Malaysia Exploration & Production. He served as a Board Director of the China Business Council for Sustainable Development and Special Adviser to the President and Executive Committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. He is former President of the Business Council for Sustainable Development Malaysia. Currently, he is an International council member of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development, Director of BG Group Plc, ENN Energy Holdings Limited and Bank Negara Malaysia. He is Director at Ranhill holdings Berhad.

Selamah Wan Sulaiman

Datuk Wan Selamah Wan Sulaiman has been Non-Executive Independent Director at Sime Darby Berhad since January 15, 2016. She obtained her Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1992. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Committee Member of the Professional Accountants In Business and Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Datuk Wan Selamah began her career with the Government in 1979 as Treasury Accountant in the Examination Syndicate Department of the Ministry of Education. In 1982, she served the Ministry of Defence before joining the Accountant-General's Department in 1984. Datuk Wan Selamah held various positions in the Accountant-General's Department, including Deputy Accountant-General (Corporate), Deputy Director of the Government Pensions Trust Fund, Director of the Information Technology Services Division and Director of the Central Operations and Agency Services Division between 1984 until November 2010. She was appointed the Accountant-General of Malaysia in 2010 and served in that position until her retirement in December 2014. She is Director at Prasarana Malaysia Berhad.
