Name Description

Faisal Al-Mahroos

Mr. Faisal Al-Mahroos has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Sunset Pacific Petroleum Ltd., with effect from 30 March 2015. Mr. Al-Mahroos has 35-plus years experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently he is a member of the board of directors of the Bahrain Petroleum Co. and Tatweer Petroleum Co. Prior to that, he held the positions of Bahrain Petroleum's chief executive officer and chairman of Bahrain Lube Base Oil Co. Mr. Al-Mahroos joined Bahrain Petroleum as a petroleum engineer in 1976 and was promoted to various senior positions until he was appointed the chief executive in 2009. He played a key role in promoting Bahrain field operations during the 1980s, which contributed significantly to enhancing the field's reserve and bolstering the national economy, in addition to his tangible contributions in exploration activities and the deep gas and enhanced production project of Bahrain field, which culminated in the establishment of Tatweer Petroleum Co. and execution of a number of key refining projects, including the Lube Base Oil project, in addition to other vital projects in refining and marketing. He also contributed to upgrading oil technologies and related sciences through organizing and chairing several oil forums in the Middle East. He presented many working papers and research on the oil industry, which continue to serve as a valuable reference in various oil and gas databases. His distinguished career has been crowned with winning man of the year 2011 in the oil industry in recognition of his contributions and accomplishments. He is an active member in SPE and AAPG and acted as a chairman of various technical events and committees of IPTC, MEOS, GEO and ADIPEC. Mr. Al-Mahroos holds a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa in the United States (1979).

Mr. Albert Raponi is a President, Director of the Company. He was Chief Executive Officer, Director of Sunset Pacific Petroleum Ltd. Mr. Raponi has been Barrister & Solicitor; General Manager of a Window & Door Factory (2003 – Present).

Michael Kostashuk

Mr. Michael Kostashuk, BSc, MEc, PGeo, PMP, is a Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mike has 30 plus years of upstream oil and gas industry experience in over 20 countries worldwide. He has worked in operations management and executive roles with a number of large and small E&P companies in onshore and offshore locations. Mike's experience includes upstream strategy and planning, reserves and resources economic analyses, frontier exploration, PSA/fiscal regime negotiation, and project management on major capital projects exceeding US$6 billion in total. His leadership experience includes executive and supervisory positions in international and Canadian producers such as Nexen, Qatar Petroleum International, PetroCanada International, RasGas, and Calvalley Petroleum. Mike's roles include management of a wide range of strategic and asset planning for natural gas, oil, heavy oil/bitumen, and IOR/EOR projects worldwide. In 1998, leading a highly experienced technical and commercial team, he initiated the Ras Laffan Helium extraction project under the authority of the Ministry of Energy of Qatar. Mike has also worked closely with high- level energy ministry officials in numerous countries to achieve corporate objectives and execute project agreements spanning exploration and development licenses to specialized oil and gas sales contracts. Mike attended the University of Calgary where he obtained his bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and his graduate degree in Petroleum Economics and International Trade. He is a registered Professional Geophysicist in Alberta, Professional Geoscientist in British Columbia, certified Project Management Professional, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, and the Project Management Institute.

Dennis Luk

Mr. Dennis Luk is Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary, Director of Sunset Pacific Petroleum Ltd. Mr. Luk holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from the University of Ottawa, and has served as a broker and investment banker over the past 20 years. Most recently, prior to moving to Canada, Mr. Luk was a vice president at Richardson Greenshields in Hong Kong, and the President of Campbell Holdings, a multi-million dollar trading company. Mr. Luk is currently a self-employed businessman.

Sultanali Mawji

Mr. Sultan Mawji is an Independent Director of Sunset Pacific Petroleum Ltd. He attended Hatfield College in Hatfield, England for Electronics and attended Cornwall Tech in Cornwall, England for an “A” level GCE. Mr. Mawji has held presidential, CFO and director positions with a number of publicly traded companies including Liquid Gold Resources (1983-2000), FAB Form Industries (1995-2000), Polar Resources Corp. (2005-Present) and Riva Petroleum Ltd. (1991-2000).

Marilyn Woodruff

Ms. Marilyn Woodruff is an Independent Director Sunset Pacific Petroleum Ltd. Ms. Woodruff holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees, from the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria, respectively. Ms. Woodruff is the President and owner of an import and export company.
