Name Description

Godfrey Sullivan

Mr. Godfrey R. Sullivan is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Splunk Inc. He has served as the company President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the company board of directors since September 2008, and as the company Chairman since December 2011. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Sullivan was with Hyperion Solutions Corporation, a performance management software company acquired by Oracle Corporation, from October 2001 to April 2007, where he served in various executive roles, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the board of directors from July 2004 until April 2007. Mr. Sullivan has served as a member of the board of directors of Citrix Systems, Inc., an enterprise software company, since February 2005 and Informatica Corporation, a data integration software provider, since January 2008. Mr. Sullivan holds a B.B.A. from Baylor University.

David Conte

Mr. David F. Conte is Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Splunk Inc., since July 2011. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Conte served as Chief Financial Officer at IronKey, Inc., an internet security and privacy company, from June 2009 to July 2011. From October 2007 to May 2009, Mr. Conte was engaged in various personal investing activities. Patricia Morrison

Ms. Patricia B. Morrison has been appointed as Director of Splunk Inc., effective April 19, 2013. Since 2009, Ms. Morrison has served as executive vice president, customer care shared services and chief information officer of Cardinal Health, Inc., a provider of healthcare services. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Ms. Morrison was chief executive officer of Mainstay Partners, a technology advisory firm, from 2008 to 2009, and executive vice president and chief information officer at Motorola, Inc., a designer, manufacturer, marketer and seller of mobility products, from 2005 to 2008. Her previous experience also includes chief information officer of Office Depot, Inc. and senior-level information technology positions at PepsiCo, Inc., The Quaker Oats Company, General Electric Company, and The Procter & Gamble Company. Ms. Morrison also previously served on the board of directors for JoAnn Stores, Inc. and SPSS, Inc. Ms. Morrison holds a B.A. and B.S. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Stephen Newberry

Mr. Stephen G. Newberry has been appointed as Director of Splunk Inc., effective January 1, 2013. Mr. Newberry has been a director of Lam Research Corporation, a supplier of wafer fabrication equipment and services, since June 2005 and has served as the Chairman of the board since November 2012. He served as Lam Research’s Chief Executive Officer from June 2005 to December 2011, President from July 1998 to November 2010, and Chief Operating Officer from 1997 to 2005. Mr. Newberry joined Lam Research in August 1997 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Lam Research, Mr. Newberry held various executive positions at Applied Materials, Inc., a provider of manufacturing equipment, services and software to the global semiconductor, flat panel display and solar industries, during his 17-year tenure there. Mr. Newberry also serves on the boards of directors of Nanometrics Incorporated, a provider of process control metrology and inspection systems. Mr. Newberry has also been named to the Compensation Committee of the Board, effective as of January 1, 2013.

John Connors

Mr. John G. Connors is Independent Director of Splunk Inc., since August 2007. Since May 2005, Mr. Connors has been a partner at Ignition Partners, LLC, a venture capital firm. Prior to joining Ignition Partners, Mr. Connors served in various management positions at Microsoft Corporation from January 1989 to January 2005, including most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from December 1999 to January 2005.
