Name Description

Eugene Lowe

Mr. Eugene Joseph Lowe, III has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the SPX Corporation effective September 26, 2015. Mr. Lowe joined SPX in 2008, was appointed an officer of the company in December 2014, and previously served as President, Thermal Equipment and Services from February 2013 to September 2015, President, Global Evaporative Cooling from March 2010 to February 2013, and Vice President of Global Business Development and Marketing, Thermal Equipment and Services from June 2008 to March 2010. Prior to joining SPX, Mr. Lowe held positions with Milliken & Company, Lazard Technology Partners, Bain & Company, and Andersen Consulting.

Scott Sproule

Mr. Scott William Sproule is Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, Treasurer of SPX Corporation effective September 26, 2015. Mr. Sproule joined SPX in 2005, was appointed an officer of the company in September 2015, and previously served as CFO, Thermal Equipment and Services from December 2014 to September 2015, Vice President and CFO, Flow Power & Energy from September 2013 to November 2014, CFO, Flow Technology from May 2012 to September 2013, Vice President of Corporate Finance from July 2009 to May 2012, CFO, Test and Measurement from August 2007 to July 2009, and Assistant Corporate Controller from August 2005 to August 2007. J. Randall Data

Mr. J. Randall Data has been appointed as President - South Africa and Global Operations of SPX Corporation. He President, South Africa and Global Operations since August 2015 and was appointed an officer of the company in September 2015. Prior to joining SPX, Mr. Data spent over 27 years with The Babcock & Wilcox Company. Most recently, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group, Inc., a subsidiary of The Babcock & Wilcox Company, from April 2012 to July 2015. While at The Babcock & Wilcox Company, Mr. Data held numerous leadership positions in the global operations of the steam generating and environmental equipment businesses.

John Swann

Mr. John William Swann, III is President - Weil-McLain, Marley Engineered Products and Radiodetection of SPX Corporation. He joined SPX in 2004 and has held various leadership positions. Since 2013, John has led efforts at Weil McLain and Marley Engineered Products to formulate and implement channel and product innovation strategies to drive profitable growth. Previously, John served as President of SPX Hydraulic Technologies and Vice President of New Venture Development for SPX. John began his tenure at SPX in 2004 as Director of Business Development for the Company’s Industrial Products and Services and Test & Measurement segments. Before joining SPX, he held consulting positions with both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen Business Consulting, practicing in the areas of corporate strategy and mergers & acquisitions.

NaTausha White

Ms. NaTausha H. White is Chief Human Resource Officer, Vice President of the Company. She is Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer since April 2015 and was appointed an officer of the company in September 2015. Ms. White returned to SPX in April 2015 after serving as the Vice President of Human Resources for Integrated Network Solutions at Harris Corporation from June 2013 to April 2015. Prior to that, she was responsible for the Human Resources function at SPX’s Global Evaporative Cooling business from July 2012 to June 2013. From 2006 to 2012, she served in various human resources leadership positions within United Technologies Corporation. Ms. White began her career at Georgia-Pacific Corporation, spending 12 years in a variety of human resource management roles.

John Nurkin

Mr. John Webster Nurkin is Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of SPX Corporation., effective September 26, 2015. Mr. Nurkin joined SPX in 2005, was appointed an officer of the company in September 2015, and previously served as Segment General Counsel, Industrial Products and Services and Corporate Commercial from September 2013 to September 2015, Vice President of New Venture Development and Assistant General Counsel from January 2011 to September 2013, Segment General Counsel, Industrial Products and Services from January 2007 to January 2011, and Group General Counsel, Industrial Products and Services from October 2005 to January 2007. Prior to joining SPX, Mr. Nurkin was a partner at the law firm of Moore & Van Allen.

Christopher Kearney

Mr. Christopher J. Kearney is Director of SPX Corporation. He is chairman, president and chief executive officer of SPX FLOW, Inc. He previously served as president and CEO of SPX Corporation beginning in 2004, and added the role of chairman in 2007. Prior to that, Chris held the role of vice president, secretary and general counsel at SPX Corporation. Prior to joining SPX, Chris served as senior vice president and general counsel of Grimes Aerospace Company, as senior attorney at Borg-Warner Chemicals, and as senior counsel at General Electric’s global materials business. Chris is a member of the Advisory Council for University Libraries, University of Notre Dame and serves as Chairman of the board of the Foundation for the Carolinas. He is also a director of Nucor Corporation and a former director of Polypore International, Inc. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from DePaul University Law School. He joined the SPX Board in 2004.

Patrick O'Leary

Mr. Patrick J. O'Leary is Independent Director of the Company. He is the former executive vice president and chief financial officer of SPX Corporation. He joined SPX as CFO in 1996 and later added the title of executive vice president in 2004. During his more than 15 years with the company, he was a principal architect of the company’s transformation until his retirement in 2012. Prior to joining SPX, Patrick served as CFO and a director of Carlisle Plastics, Inc. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he held various roles of increasing responsibility, including as a partner in the firm’s Boston office. He is currently a director of PulteGroup, Inc. and Halyard Health, Inc. Patrick earned his B.S. in Accountancy and Law from the University of Southampton, England. He joined the SPX Board in 2015.

Rick Puckett

Mr. Rick D. Puckett is Independent Director of the Company. He is executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of Snyder's-Lance, Inc., Charlotte, NC. He leads all finance, information technology, human resources, legal, investor relations, risk management, corporate relations and treasury functions. He leads the support for the company’s achievement of its key strategic initiatives in supply chain and sales efficiency improvements. Prior to Snyder’s-Lance, Rick was executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of United Natural Foods, Inc. Rick is a certified public accountant and received his degree in Accounting and his MBA from the University of Kentucky. Rick chairs the board of the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts and is a director for Whitehorse Finance, Inc., a public company where he is chairman of the audit committee. He is a member of the board of advisors for Wake Forest University Charlotte and the board of advisors of the CFO Alliance in Charlotte, NC. Rick joined the SPX Board in 2015.

David Roberts

Mr. David A. Roberts is Independent Director of SPX Corporation. He has served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Carlisle Companies, Inc., a diversified manufacturing company, since 2007. He previously served as chairman, president and CEO of Graco, Inc., a fluid handling system provider. Prior to that, Dave served as a group vice president of The Marmon Group, LLC. He began his career serving in a variety of manufacturing, engineering, and general management positions with The Budd Company, Pitney Bowes and FMC Corporation. David currently serves as a director for Franklin Electric Co., Inc., a water and fueling system manufacturer. He earned his B.S. from Purdue University and his MBA from Indiana University. David joined the SPX Board in 2015.

Ruth Shaw

Dr. Ruth G. Shaw, Ph.D. is Independent Director of SPX Corporation. She retired from Duke Energy Corporation in 2007, but remained an executive advisor to the company until 2009. At Duke, she served as group executive for public policy and president of Duke Nuclear, as well as president and CEO of Duke Power Company. Prior to that, she held numerous roles, including executive vice president and chief administrative officer. She also was president of The Duke Energy Foundation. Ruth is currently a director of The Dow Chemical Company and DTE Energy, and serves on the board of trustees of the UNC Charlotte Foundation. She is also the founding board chair and a board member of The Carolinas Thread Trail, and a former member of the executive committees of the Nuclear Energy Institute and the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations. She earned her B.A. and M.A. from East Carolina University and her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. Ruth joined the SPX Board in 2015.

Tana Utley

Ms. Tana Leigh Utley is Independent Director of the Company. She is currently vice president of the Large Power Systems Division at Caterpillar Inc., a construction and mining equipment, engines, turbines and locomotives manufacturer. Since joining the company in 1986, she has held a number of roles, including a variety of engineering and general management positions. Tana’s technical career has focused primarily on solving the challenges of reducing diesel engine emissions in accordance with the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency and equivalent global regulations. She has also played key engineering and leadership roles in the development of near-zero-emissions engines, and held general management positions in Caterpillar's components and engines businesses. Tana earned her bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Bradley University and her M.S. in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Tana joined the SPX Board in 2015.
