Name Description
Whiteley, William William Whiteley is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, Independent Director of Spirax-Sarco Engineering Plc. He joined the Group as an independent non-executive director in 2002. Until his retirement in 2008 he was the Chief Executive of Rotork plc. He is Chairman of Remuneration Committees, a member of the Nomination Committee and was Senior Independent Director. He is a non-executive director of Dialight plc, Brammer plc, Renishaw plc and Chairman of The British Valve and Actuator Association.
Vernon, Mark Mark Vernon joined Spirax Sarco Inc. in 2003 to run the Spirax Sarco business in the USA. He was appointed to the Board in 2006 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2007 responsible for the day-to-day operations of both the Spirax Sarco business and the Watson-Marlow business. He was appointed as Chief Executive in April 2008. He is a member of the Nomination and Finance Committees and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee.
Meredith, David David Meredith joined the Group in 1988 as Group Accountant. He was appointed to the Board as Director - Finance in 1992. He is also responsible for Watson-Marlow Bredel. He is a member of the Finance and Risk Management Committees.

He will be responsible for the Group’s Supply operations in Cheltenham and France and for Spirax Sarco operations in North America, the Group’s research and development facility and the Group’s health and safety and environmental matters. He will be a member of the Risk Management Committee.
Scrivin, Anthony Anthony Scrivin joined Spirax-Sarco Limited in 1963. He was appointed a director in 1998 and re-appointed in 2003 on his return to the UK from Spirax Sarco Inc., USA. He was appointed to the Board in 2005 and is now responsible for Continental Europe and North America. He is a member of the Risk Management Committee.
Bullock, Gareth Gareth Bullock joined the Group as an independent non-executive director in 2005. He is a director of Standard Chartered PLC. Rajagopal, Krishnamurthy Dr Krishnamurthy Rajagopal was appointed to the Board as an independent non-executive director on 10th February 2009. Clive is currently an executive director and Group Finance Director of Spectris plc, a FTSE 250 company that supplies productivity-enhancing instrumentation and controls. Clive brings with him broad international experience working for engineering businesses, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer for plastics producer Borealis A/S, and Group Finance Director and Board Member for Thorn Lighting. Clive has also served in several finance and business development roles for Black & Decker Corporation in both the UK and USA and was Director of International Tax for CIC International BV.
