Claus Recktenwald

 Dr. Claus Recktenwald is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SolarWorld AG. He is an Attorney-at-law and Partner of the law firm Schmitz Knoth Rechtsanwaelte in Bonn. Until January 13, 2011 he acted as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Sunicon AG and at Deutsche Solar AG. Dr. Recktenwald occupies the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Solarparc AG. Furthermore, he serves as Member of the Supervisory Board at VEMAG Verlags- und Medien AG and as Member of the Advisory Body at Gruenenthal GmbH as well as Gruenenthal GmbH & Co. KG.

Frank Asbeck

 Dr. Frank H. Asbeck has been Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of SolarWorld AG since 1999. He is also founder of the Company. Until January 13, 2011 Dr. Asbeck served as Member of the Supervisory Board at SUNICON AG and occupied the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at DEUTSCHE SOLAR AG. In July 2010 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Technische Universitaet Bergakademie Freiberg (Freiberg University of Mining and Technology).
