Smith, Robert Lord Smith of Kelvin is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Scottish & Southern Energy Plc. He is Chairman of The Weir Group plc and of Glasgow 2014 Ltd. He serves as a non-executive Director of the 3i Group plc, Aegon UK plc, and the Standard Bank Group Ltd. He is also Chancellor of the University of the West of Scotland and is a member of the council of Economic Advisers to the First Minister of Scotland.
Marchant, Ian Ian Marchant was appointed Chief Executive, Executive Director of Scottish & Southern Energy Plc in 2002. He is Chairman of the Scottish Climate Change Business Delivery Group and is a member of the United Kingdom Business Council for Sustainable Energy, OFGEM’s Environmental Advisory Group and the Energy Research Partnership. He also serves as a non-executive Director of John Wood Group plc and of the Maggie’s Cancer Centres.
