Boehne, Richard Richard A. Boehne was appointed President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of The E. W. Scripps Company on July 1, 2008. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from April 2006 to June 2008 and was an Executive Vice President from February 1999 until June 2008.
