Abend, Martin Dr. Martin Abend has been named Chairman od the Supervisory Board at STADA Arzneimittel AG with effect from August 24, 2009. Before that, he served as Member of the Supervisory Board at the Company from June 24, 2003. He studied at the universities of Heidelberg, Germany, and Lausanne and Geneva, Switzerland, and at Cornell Law School in Ithaca, New York. Dr. Abend has previously worked as an assistant at the Institut fuer Internationales Privatrecht in Germany, and as an associate at De Bandt, van Hecke & Lagae in Belgium. Since 1993, Dr. Abend has worked as an attorney in Dresden, Germany and specializes in commercial law, international contract law and corporate law. He is a Member of the European Committee of the German Federal Bar Association and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Saxon Bar Association.
Retzlaff, Hartmut Mr. Hartmut Retzlaff has been Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer at STADA Arzneimittel AG since 1994. He is also responsible for the Legal area of the Company. He has previously worked as a pharmaceutical consultant and regional field staff director at ASTRA GmbH, before moving on to Abbott GmbH where he was regional field staff director from 1982 to 1986. Brueggemann, Eckhard Dr. Eckhard Brueggemann has been named Member of the Supervisory Board at STADA Arzneimittel AG with effect from August 24, 2009. Meyer, Constantin Mr. Constantin Meyer has been Member of the Supervisory Board at STADA Arzneimittel AG since 2003. He studied pharmacy at Ludwigs-Universitaet zu Freiburg in Breisgau, Germany and gained his pharmaceutical license in 1971.
