Dennis Jilot |
Mr. Dennis L. Jilot is the Chairman of the Board of STR Holdings Inc., effective July 18, 2012. He resigned as Executive Chairman of the Board of the company effective on the same day. On January 1, 2012, Mr. Jilot became Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Jilot served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1997 through 2011 and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2002. Mr. Jilot has been a director since 1997. Mr. Jilot was Executive Vice President of Corning Clinical Laboratories, President and Chief Executive Officer of Corning Nichols Institute and President and Chief Operating Officer of MetPath Incorporated. Mr. Jilot holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point and completed the Executive M.B.A. program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. |

Mr. Robert S. Yorgensen is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of STR Holdings Inc. Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Yorgensen was the President of the Solar division since 2007 and has been employed with STR for 26 years. Mr. Yorgensen has held a variety of positions with the company, including Extruded Products Manager and Senior Technical Specialist of Materials RD&E and Specialty Manufacturing, Technical Specialist of Materials RD&E and Specialty Manufacturing and Project Leader of Development Engineering and Specialty Manufacturing. Mr. Joseph C. Radziewicz is Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President of STR Holdings, Inc. He served as STR’s Controller and Principal Accounting Officer since January 2009. Mr. Barry A. Morris is Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of STR Holdings, Inc. He has served as STR’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since September 2008 and prior to that served as STR’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2002. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Morris was Chief Financial Officer of General Bearing Corporation as well as Director of Financial Services and Corporate Controller for BTR Inc. Mr. Morris entered into an employment agreement with the Company’s subsidiary, Specialized Technology Resources, Inc., on June 15, 2007. Mr. Alan N. Forman is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of STR Holdings, Inc. Mr. Forman became Senior Vice President and General Counsel in April 2012 and was Vice President and General Counsel. Mr. Forman is responsible for all human resource and legal affairs of the Company. Prior to joining, Mr. Forman was a partner at Brown Rudnick LLP and a member of their CleanTech team. Mr. Robert M. Chiste has been appointed as Independent Director f STR Holdings, Inc., effective August 5, 2010. Mr. Chiste is an Executive in Residence with the Silicon Valley venture capital firm El Dorado Ventures, where he leads the firm's cleantech activities. He is also Principal of Sorfina Capital focusing on early stage cleantech and bio-technology companies. He served as Chairman, President and CEO of Comverge, Inc. (NASDAQ: COMV) from 2001 until his retirement in 2009. Mr. John A. Janitz serves as Independent Director of STR Holdings, Inc. Mr. Janitz is Chairman and Co-Founding Partner at Evergreen Capital Partners LLC, an investment firm that provides advisory services to and co-invests with private equity firms under exclusive contractual arrangements, and is affiliated with The Gores Group where Mr. Janitz is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, and providing strategic, operational and financial guidance to the firm with respect to portfolio company investments in the industrial sector.
