Name Description

Joseph Gaviola

Mr. Joseph A. Gaviola has been appointed as Independent Chairman of the Board of Suffolk Bancorp effective May 29, 2012. He served as Independent Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr. Gaviola owns several established and ongoing small businesses on Eastern Long Island, having built them up over a span of more than 20 years. He is active in municipal government: in planning on an ongoing basis and in financial oversight on an ad hoc basis. Additionally he serves on the boards of various charitable organizations. These experiences provide him with a particular understanding of one of Suffolk’s key markets.

Howard Bluver

Mr. Howard C. Bluver is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Suffolk Bancorp, effective December 30, 2011. From June 2011 to December 2011, Mr. Bluver provided consulting services to the Company and the Bank. Prior to that time, Mr. Bluver was the founder and President of JDS Financial Group, LLC, a consulting firm, which served the regulatory, transactional, risk management, corporate governance, due diligence and operational needs of the commercial banking, thrift, mortgage and investment banking sectors from 2005 to 2011. From 1994 until 2005, Mr. Bluver was Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Enterprise Risk Officer at GreenPoint Bank and GreenPoint Financial Corp., New York, New York. Prior to that, he was Deputy Chief Counsel, United States Office of Thrift Supervision, Washington, D.C. from 1987 to 1994. He started his career at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., finishing as Chief of the branch in the Division of Corporation Finance that covered financial institutions. Since 2005, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Georgetown in Washington D.C., as well as a member of that institution’s Audit Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. As President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and the Bank, and by virtue of his 30-year career in the banking industry as both a participant and regulator, Mr. Bluver is able to provide perspective on Suffolk’s current position and future strategy.

Brian Finneran

Mr. Brian K. Finneran is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Suffolk Bancorp, effective February 7, 2012. Mr. Finneran had served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of State Bancorp since 1997, and Senior Vice President and Comptroller from 1990 to 1997. Mr. Finneran holds an MBA from Pace University and a BBA from Bernard M. Baruch College. Mr. Finneran also holds the “Certified Risk Professional” designation from the Bank Administration Institute. Mr. Finneran is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, the Financial Managers Society, the Institute of Management Accountants, the Financial Executives Institute, and the National Investor Relations Institute.

Michael Orsino

Mr. Michael R. Orsino is Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer of Suffolk Bancorp, since March 13, 2012. He is Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer since March 2012. Mr. Orsino had served as President of various banking districts of KeyBank starting in 1995, and continuing until 2011; with the exception of the years 2003 to 2005 when he served as National Sales Executive for the retail banking divisions in 21 districts and 13 states.

Patricia Schaubeck

Ms. Patricia M. Schaubeck has been appointed as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of Suffolk Bancorp and its banking subsidiary, Suffolk County National Bank with effect from June 19, 2012. Ms. Schaubeck holds a J.D. from St. John’s University, Jamaica, NY, where she was the Notes and Comments Editor of the Journal of Legal Commentary; an M.B.A. in Public Accounting from St. John’s University, Jamaica, NY; and a B.B.A. in Finance from Bernard M. Baruch College, New York, NY.

Steven Cohen

Mr. Steven M. Cohen has been appointed as Director of Suffolk Bancorp effective May 29, 2012. Since 2005, he has provided operational and technology consulting services to public and private businesses nationally through the Baywood Consulting Group, of which he is founder and principal. Before that, he worked in financial services for a number of banks, including as a Chief Information Officer.

Terence Meyer

Mr. Terence X. Meyer is Director of Suffolk Bancorp. Mr. Meyer is Managing Partner, Meyer, Meyer, Metli & Keneally, Esqs. L.L.P. (attorneys). He has financial and legal experience with regard to banks. He started his career as a Certified Public Accountant auditing banks. He moved on to practice law, and is a partner in a firm with a practice representing financial institutions, both locally and nationally. He is also a private investor, both domestically and internationally.

Ramesh Shah

Mr. Ramesh N. Shah has been appointed as Director of Suffolk Bancorp, effective March 27, 2013. Mr. Shah is currently on the boards of directors of Cardon Outreach, a national provider of revenue cycle management services to hospitals and health service providers, and Safety Services, a supplier of OSHA compliant safety products. Mr. Shah enjoyed a career at Greenpoint Bank as CEO of Retail Banking from 1996 to 2004 and prior thereto held senior executive positions at Shearson Lehman Brothers and American Express.

James Danowski

Mr. James E. Danowski is Independent Director of Suffolk Bancorp. Mr. Danowski is C.P.A., Partner; Coughlin, Foundotos, Cullen & Danowski, L.L.P. (accounting). Mr. Danowski is a Certified Public Accountant.

Edgar Goodale

Mr. Edgar F. Goodale is Independent Director of Suffolk Bancorp. He served as Independent Chairman of the Board of the Company. Mr. Goodale has experience in retailing to the professional building trades, real estate development, corporate structure, and has a working knowledge of financial markets. He is President of one of Long Island’s building supply companies, which has grown steadily, both through organic development and through a series of acquisitions. These experiences provide him with a strategic overview of Long Island’s economy and business expansion.

David Kandell

Mr. David A. Kandell is Independent Director of Suffolk Bancorp. Mr. Kandell has more than 30 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant: in a , national, public accounting firm; as the operations manager of a growing CPA firm; and now as a partner in a firm with a clientele of the same sort of small businesses that are a key part of the Company’s business. This experience in the analysis of his clients’ financial data has provided him with insight into the small-business community across a number of industries and professions.

John Stark

Mr. John D. Stark, Jr., is Independent Director of Suffolk Bancorp. Mr. Stark was educated as an engineer, and is currently a principal of one of the manufactured-home community development and management companies in the Company’s primary market area. A lifelong resident of eastern Long Island, he brings a thorough knowledge of the local economy as well as an analytical understanding of business problems to influence his advice to his colleagues on the Board.
