Biographies

Name Description

Michael Maedel

Mr. Michael Maedel is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Syzygy AG. He is President of J. Walter Thompson (JWT) Europe, Asia and Africa. Mr. Maedel has been with JWT since 1990, when he joined as Chief Executive Officer of JWT Germany. He started his career in advertising in 1972 as a trainee at Young & Rubicam in Frankfurt, eventually becoming Executive Director and General Manager. He has also been Chairman of Ted Bates Werbagentur, Frankfurt. He holds a degree in Economics from Universitaet Wien.

Marco Seiler

Mr. Marco Seiler was Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Syzygy AG untill August 31, 2016. He also served as Managing Director of Syzygy Deutschland GmbH. In 1995, Mr. Seiler founded United Media in Germany and developed an eServices firm. He developed relationships with blue-chip clients including Alfa Romeo, Fiat AG, Fleurop, Lancia, VDO Dayton, UUNET and VIAG Interkom. He merged United Media with Syzygy early in 2000. From 1987 to 1994, Mr. Seiler was the youngest Managing Director of United States software company WordPerfect Corporation, responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has also been Managing Director of United Internet AG, a German multimedia company.

Erwin Greiner

Mr. Erwin Greiner has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, Member of the Management Board of Syzygy AG effective January 1, 2015. He is responsible for financial, legal and administrative matters and Investor Relations at the company. He has been with SYZYGY AG since 2001. In 2003, he was appointed Finance Director. He played a major part in making the Group's M&A-transactions a success, being responsible, among other things, for the integration of the entities and their systems. He studied Business Administration and Economics with special focus on Management Accounting and Financial Reporting as well as Tax Law and Business Information Systems. He started his professional career in 1995 as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Having passed the exams to become chartered accountant in 1999, he worked for debis Systemhaus as an International Controller. As such, he was in charge of the group companies in Italy, Spain and Brazil.

Andrew Stevens

Mr. Andrew Stevens has been Chief Operating Officer, Member of the Management Board of Syzygy AG since January 1, 2010. He serves as Director of Unique Digital Marketing Ltd, Syzygy UK Ltd and Hi-ReS! New York Inc.

Lars Lehne

Mr. Lars Lehne is appointed as Chairman of the Management Board at Syzygy AG effective from September 01, 2016. He was appointed as Member of the Management Board at Syzygy AG effective April 1, 2016 till September 1, 2016. He served at Google Germany as Director of Media & Technology.

Wilfried Beeck

Mr. Wilfried Beeck is Member of the Supervisory Board of Syzygy AG since June 2, 2005. After graduating from Universitaet Kiel in mathematics and informatics, Mr. Beeck founded DART Software GmbH in 1983. DART was the German distributor of NeXT Computer Inc, the company Steve Jobs founded after he had left Apple. In 1992, Mr. Beeck was one of the co-founders of Intershop, focusing primarily upon online solutions. He managed the IPO of Intershop in 1998. Today, Mr. Beeck serves as Chief Executive Officer of ePages Software GmbH.
