Name Description

Alex Guidi

Mr. Alex P. Guidi has been re-designated as Chairman of the Board of the Company. He was Interim Chief Executive Officer of TAG Oil Ltd. Mr. Guidi is the founder of TAG Oil Ltd. Mr. Alex Guidi is the founder of the Company and a number of prominent international Austral-Asian focused oil and gas exploration companies including Indo-Pacific Energy Ltd. (“Indo-Pacific”), Trans-Orient, and AMG. Together with TAG Oil, these companies have made, and continue to make, a significant contribution to exploration and development activity in New Zealand and Papua New Guinea’s Foreland region. In North America, Mr. Guidi was a founder of Williston Basin focused Walking Stick Oil and Gas Ltd. which grew into a successful entity that merged with Bonavista Petroleum in the early 1990’s. Mr. Guidi has previously served as an officer of the Company as well as various executive roles and directorships with Walking Stick Oil and Gas Ltd., Trans-Orient, Indo-Pacific, and AMG.

Toby Pierce

Mr. Toby Pierce, MBA, B.Sc., is Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company. He is a natural-resource executive with more than 19 years of extensive transactional and valuation experience across multiple deals, from a million to $1.3 billion in value. He began his career as a geologist with Hunter Dickinson, then moved to Pierce Geological, a privately held oil and gas consulting company. As Acting Director of Oil and Gas Institutional Research at Tristone Capital, Mr. Pierce worked in both the Calgary and London offices. Remaining in London, he became Partner and Lead Oil and Gas Analyst for GMP Europe Securites LLP, where he covered a variety of oil and gas companies with market capitalizations ranging from $30 million to $15 billion, and provided strategic advice and valuation expertise both internally to the investment banking and sales partners, and externally to energy company management on asset acquisitions, financings, and capital markets, while conducting numerous site visits and asset reviews of operations around the globe. Mr. Pierce recently held a senior management position as Managing Director of Burnt Ridge Advisory, a natural resources advisory firm focused on acquisitions, valuation, investments, M&A, deal structuring, and due diligence for resource companies and investors.

Christopher Ferguson

Mr. Chris Ferguson is Chief Financial Officer of TAG Oil Ltd., with effective December 1, 2013. Mr. Ferguson is a qualified chartered accountant who holds a bachelor of management studies in accounting and has 18 years of financial, accounting and operational experience in both the public and private sectors. For the past 14 years, Mr. Ferguson has built up extensive oil and gas experience within the Taranaki basin, having held senior financial positions with both local and international exploration and production companies. Recently, Mr. Ferguson spent five years working with Origin Energy New Zealand as its finance and planning manager, where he was leading the financial planning, accounting, tax and production accounting functions which included the implementation of strategic plans, executing supplier contract strategies and managing contractor performance.

Henrik Lundin

Mr. Henrik Lundin is re-designated of the Chief Operating Officer of the company. He is an experienced oil and gas engineer who holds a BSc in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in Colorado, U.S. Mr. Lundin's career as a reservoir engineer has developed through his experience in onshore fields located in Syria and France, as well as offshore fields located in Norway and Tunisia. Mr. Lundin's career path has taken him from acting petroleum/thermal engineer for Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd., which was acquired by Sinopec, to his current position as a senior reservoir engineer for the industry-leading Lundin Petroleum AB, with a focus on the Brynhild field and the giant Johan Sverdrup field in Norway.

Mr. Christopher Bailey is Vice President - Business Development of TAG Oil Ltd. He is Division Manager, Shared Services of Fraser River Pile & Dredge (GP) Inc. from October 2006 to May 2012.

Giuseppe Perone

Mr. Giuseppe Perone is Corporate Secretary of TAG Oil Ltd. Mr. Perone is currently practicing as a corporate lawyer for TAG Oil and other public and private companies, and has legal experience in corporate and commercial matters. Mr. Perone obtained a B.A. with Distinction in Sociology from the University of Victoria in 2001 and an LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 2005, and has previously articled at the law firm of Lang Michener LLP in their Vancouver, British Columbia office. Mr. Perone is also an active member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association. Mr. Perone has previously served as a director of TAG Oil.

Keith Hill

Mr. Keith C. Hill is Lead Independent Director of TAG Oil Ltd. Mr. Keith Hill has been a director of the Company since July 6, 2011. Mr. Hill is the CEO and a director of Africa Oil Corp., and is the Chairman and a director of ShaMaran Petroleum Corp. Mr. Hill is also a director of Black Pearl Resources Inc., Tyner Resources Ltd., and Petro Vista Energy Corp. Prior to this, Mr. Hill was instrumental in developing Valkyries Petroleum Corp. and Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd., both highly successful international oil and gas producers which were acquired by major oil companies. Mr. Hill holds a Master of Science degree in Geology and Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics from Michigan State University, as well as an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.

David Bennett

Dr. David John Bennett is Director of TAG Oil Ltd. He has extensive exploration, technical, operational, and corporate experience in New Zealand and throughout Australasia. He will be a hands-on director, helping TAG Oil high-grade and prioritize its prospect inventory, as well as give technical guidance to TAG's exploration and development programs. Dr. Bennett has led exploration teams responsible for a considerable number of discoveries including the multitrillion cubic feet Douglas and Puk Puk gas resource in Papua New Guinea's Foreland region, as well as a number of new field discoveries in New Zealand, such as Ngatoro, Goldie, Cheal, Puka, Kahili and Kupe South. Dr. Bennett is a former director of TAG and was previously the chief executive officer of TSX- and AMEX-listed Austral Pacific Energy Ltd. (formerly Indo-Pacific Energy Ltd.) and Trans-Orient Petroleum Ltd., which experienced significant growth to become leading Australasian oil and gas companies during his tenure from 1993 to 2005. Dr. Bennett holds an MSc in exploration geophysics from Leeds University U.K. and a PhD in geophysics from the Australian National University.

Brad Holland

Mr. Brad Holland is Director of TAG Oil Ltd. Mr. Holland holds a B.Sc. Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Alberta and has more than thirty years of experience and expertise in the planning, design and project management of oil and gas industry projects, which includes eighteen years as Senior Project Engineer for Saudi Aramco, a global leader in oil and gas. Over the course of his career, Mr. Holland has been responsible for the design and management of multiple oil and gas large diameter pipeline projects around the world, and he will be an integral addition to TAG Oil's Board as the Company embarks on the next phase of development. Effective March 1, 2015 , TAG Oil's Board will consist of Alex Guidi , Keith Hill , Ken Vidalin and Brad Holland .

Kenneth Vidalin

Mr. Kenneth E. Vidalin P.Eng., is an Independent Director of TAG Oil Ltd. Mr. Ken Vidalin has been a director of the Company since December 14, 2011. Mr. Vidalin is the founder of two significant global corporations, Methanex and Acetex, and has more than twenty (20) years of experience as a board member of public and private companies. As the founder, former director, and former COO of Methanex Corporation, Mr. Vidalin has significant technical and business qualifications. Mr. Vidalin is currently the President of Carina Investments Ltd., which is a private investment company, and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota.
