Name Description

Gregg Sherrill

Mr. Gregg M. Sherrill is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Tenneco Inc. Mr. Sherrill was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in January 2007. Mr. Sherrill joined the company from Johnson Controls Inc., where he served since 1998, most recently as President, Power Solutions. From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Sherrill served as the Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, South Africa and South America for Johnson Controls’ Automotive Systems Group. Before joining Johnson Controls, Mr. Sherrill held various engineering and manufacturing assignments over a 22-year span at Ford Motor Company, including Plant Manager of Ford’s Dearborn, Michigan engine plant, Chief Engineer, Steering Systems and Director of Supplier Technical Assistance. Mr. Sherrill holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University’s Graduate School of Business. Mr. Sherrill is a director of Snap-on Incorporated where he is a member of the Organization and Executive Compensation Committee. He became a director of the company in January 2007.

Kenneth Trammell

Mr. Kenneth R. Trammell is an Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Tenneco Inc. Mr. Trammell was named the company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in September 2003, having served as the company's Vice President and Controller since September 1999. From April 1997 to November 1999, he served as Corporate Controller of Tenneco Inc. He joined Tenneco Inc. in May 1996 as Assistant Controller. Josep Fornos

Mr. Josep Fornos is an Executive Vice President - Ride Performance Division of Tenneco Inc. He served as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Europe, South America and India from March 2012 to February 2013 and as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Europe, South America and India from July 2010 to March 2012. Prior to that, he had served as Vice President and General Manager, Europe Original Equipment Emission Control since March 2007. Mr. Fornos joined Tenneco in July 2000 as Vice President and General Manager, Europe Original Equipment Ride Control. Prior to joining Tenneco, Fornos spent a year at Lear Corporation as General Manager of the company’s seating and wire and harness business in France, following Lear’s acquisition of United Technologies Automotive. Mr. Fornos spent 16 years with United Technologies Automotive, holding several management positions in production, engineering and quality control in Spain and later having Europe-wide responsibility for engineering and quality control.

Timothy Jackson

Mr. Timothy E. Jackson is an Executive Vice President - Technology, Strategy and Business Development of Tenneco Inc. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer from March 2007 to March 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Jackson served as Senior Vice President — Global Technology and General Manager, Asia Pacific since July 2005. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Jackson served as Senior Vice President — Manufacturing, Engineering, and Global Technology. In August 2000, he was named Senior Vice President — Global Technology, a role he served in after joining as Senior Vice President and General Manager — North American Original Equipment and Worldwide Program Management in June 1999. Mr. Jackson came to Tenneco from ITT Industries where he was President of that company’s Fluid Handling Systems Division. With over 30 years of management experience, 14 within the automotive industry, he had also served as Chief Executive Officer for HiSan, a joint venture between ITT Industries and Sanoh Industrial Company. Mr. Jackson has held senior management positions at BF Goodrich Aerospace and General Motors Corporation.

Neal Yanos

Mr. Neal A. Yanos is an Executive Vice President - Clean Air Division of Tenneco Inc. He served as Executive Vice President, North America from July 2008 to February 2013. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager — North American Original Equipment Ride Control and North American Aftermarket since May 2003. He joined Monroe ride control division as a process engineer in 1988 and since that time has served in a broad range of assignments including product engineering, strategic planning, business development, finance, program management and marketing, including Director of North American Original Equipment GM/VW business unit and most recently as Vice President and General Manager — North American Original Equipment Ride Control from December 2000. Before joining company, Mr. Yanos was employed in various engineering positions by Sheller Globe Inc. from 1985 to 1988.

James Harrington

Mr. James D. Harrington is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of Tenneco Inc. He is responsible for managing the company's worldwide legal affairs including corporate governance and compliance. Mr. Harrington joined the company in January 2005 as Corporate Counsel and was named Vice President — Law in July 2007. Prior to joining Tenneco, he worked at Mayer Brown LLP in the firm’s corporate and securities practice.

Mr. Brent J. Bauer is Senior Vice President and General Manager - North American Original Equipment Clean Air of Tenneco Inc. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Bauer was named Vice President and General Manager — European and North American Original Equipment Emission Control in July 2001. Mr. Bauer joined Tenneco Automotive in August 1996 as a Plant Manager and was named Vice President and General Manager — European Original Equipment Emission Control in September 1999. Prior to joining Tenneco, he was employed at AeroquipVickers Corporation for 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility serving most recently as Director of Operations.

Mr. Gregg A. Bolt is Senior Vice President - Global Human Resources and Administration of Tenneco Inc. Prior to joining Tenneco, Mr. Bolt worked for Quad/Graphics, Inc. as Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Administration from March 2009 to January 2013. Previously, he was with Johnson Controls Inc. for more than 10 years, serving most recently as Vice President, Human Resources for JCI’s Building Efficiency division.

He served as Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing from January 2010 to February 2013. Mr. Charlton served as Vice President, Global Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing from November 2008 through December 2009. Mr. Charlton served as Tenneco’s Managing Director for India from January 2008 until November 2008. Prior to that, he served as the operations director for the Company’s emission control business in Europe since 2005. Prior to joining Tenneco in 2005, Mr. Charlton held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility at TRW Automotive, the most recent being Lead Director, European Purchasing and Operations for the United Kingdom.

Paul Novas

Mr. Paul D. Novas is Vice President, Controller of Tenneco Inc. Mr. Novas served as Vice President, Finance and Administration for Tenneco Europe from January 2004 until July 2006 and as Vice President and Treasurer of Tenneco from November 1999 until January 2004. Mr. Novas joined Tenneco in 1996 as assistant treasurer responsible for corporate finance and North American treasury operations. Prior to joining Tenneco, Mr. Novas worked in the treasurer’s office of General Motors Corporation for ten years.

Paul Stecko

Mr. Paul T. Stecko is Lead Independent Director of Tenneco Inc. Mr. Stecko has served as the Executive Chairman of Packaging Corporation of America since July 2010. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Packaging Corporation of America from January 1999 through June 2010 and has been Chairman of PCA’s Board of Directors since March 1999. Mr. Stecko served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Tenneco Inc. from November 1998 to April 1999 and as Chief Operating Officer of Tenneco Inc. from January 1997 to November 1998. From December 1993 through January 1997, Mr. Stecko served as Chief Executive Officer of Tenneco Packaging Inc. Before that, Mr. Stecko spent 16 years with International Paper Company in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Vice President and General Manager of the Publication Papers, Bristols and Converting Papers businesses. Mr. Stecko received a B.S. degree in metallurgy from Pennsylvania State University and an M.S. in metallurgical engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a director of State Farm Mutual Insurance Company and Smurfit Kappa Group. He has been a director of the company since November 1998.

James Metcalf

Mr. James S. Metcalf is appointed as Director of Tenneco Inc., effective July 9, 2014. Metcalf is chairman, president and chief executive officer for USG Corporation, North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of high-performance building solutions for construction, remodeling and industrial markets. Metcalf was appointed to his current role as chairman, president and chief executive officer in 2011. He joined USG in 1980 and his long career with the company includes serving as president and chief operating officer; president, building systems; president and chief executive officer, L&W Supply; executive vice president and chief operating officer; senior vice president, sales and marketing, USG Interiors, Inc.; and a number of other marketing and management roles of increasing responsibility. Metcalf serves on the board of directors for USG Corporation and is a member of the National Association of Manufacturers Executive Committee. He also serves as a policy advisory board member for the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University.

Thomas Freyman

Mr. Thomas C. Freyman is an Independent Director of Tenneco Inc., since January 16, 2013. He has served in his current role as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Finance for Abbott since 2004. He was first appointed Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Finance in 2001. From 1999 to 2001, he served as Vice President and Controller of Abbott’s Hospital Products Division. Dennis Letham

Mr. Dennis J. Letham is an Independent Director of Tenneco Inc. From 1995 until his retirement in June 2011, Mr. Letham served as Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Anixter International Inc., where he oversaw the company’s finance, accounting, tax, legal, human resource and internal audit activities in 50 countries. Before assuming his role as Chief Financial Officer in 1995, Mr. Letham served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Anixter, Inc., the principal operating subsidiary of Anixter International Inc., which he joined in 1993. Previously, he had a ten-year career with National Intergroup Inc., where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, as well as Vice President and Controller, Director of Corporate Accounting and Manager for Internal Audit. Mr. Letham began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1973 where he held progressive responsibilities in the Audit Department. Mr. Letham holds a bachelors degree from Pennsylvania State University’s Accounting Honors program. He also is a Certified Public Accountant.

Roger Porter

Dr. Roger B. Porter is an Independent Director of Tenneco Inc., since January 1998. Mr. Porter is the IBM Professor of Business and Government and the Master of Dunster House at Harvard University. He has served on the faculty at Harvard University since 1977. He held senior economic policy positions in the Ford, Reagan and George H. W. Bush White Houses, serving as special assistant to the President and executive secretary of the Economic Policy Board from 1974 to 1977, as deputy assistant to the President and director of the White House Office of Policy Development from 1981 to 1985, and as assistant to the President for economic and domestic policy from 1989 to 1993. He received a B.A. from Brigham Young University and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard University. He was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University where he received his B.Phil. degree. He is also a director of Zions Bancorporation, Extra Space Storage Inc. and Packaging Corporation of America. Mr. Porter served on the board of directors of Pactiv Corporation through November 2010. He is the Chairman of the Compensation /Nominating/Governance Committee.

David Price

Mr. David B. Price, Jr., is an Independent Director of Tenneco Inc. Since his retirement from Noveon Inc. in 2001, Mr. Price has worked as an independent consultant, providing investment and operational advice primarily to financial and strategic buyers of businesses. Previously, Mr. Price was President of Noveon Inc. from February 2001 until May 2001. Noveon, Inc. was formerly the Performance Materials segment of BF Goodrich Company before its sale to an investor group in February 2001. While with BF Goodrich Company from July 1997 to February 2001, Mr. Price served as Executive Vice President of the BF Goodrich Company and President and Chief Operating Officer of BF Goodrich Performance Materials. Before joining BF Goodrich, Mr. Price held various executive positions over a 25-year span at Monsanto Company, including President of the Performance Materials Division of Monsanto Company from 1995 to July 1997. From 1993 to 1995, he was Vice President and General Manager of commercial operations for the Industrial Products Group and was also named to the management board of Monsanto’s Chemical Group. Mr. Price received a B.S.C.E. from the University of Missouri and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. He is a director and former Chairman of the YMCA of Greater St. Louis and a Director and Vice Chairman of St. Lukes Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Price is a member of the Compensation/Nominating/Governance Committee.

Jane Warner

Ms. Jane L. Warner is an Independent Director of Tenneco Inc. Ms. Warner has served as Executive Vice President at Illinois Tool Works Inc., a Fortune 200 diversified manufacturer of engineered components and industrial systems and consumables, since August 2007, where she has worldwide responsibility for its Decorative Surfaces and Finishing Systems businesses. Ms. Warner joined Illinois Tool Works Inc. in December 2005 as Group President of its Worldwide Finishing business. She was previously the President of Plexus Systems, L.L.C., a manufacturing software company, from June 2004 to December 2005, and a Vice President with Electronic Data Systems from 2000 through June 2004, where she led their global manufacturing group. Ms. Warner served as Executive Vice President for first tier supplier Textron Automotive from 1994 through 1999, where she was President of its Kautex North America and Randall divisions. Previously, Ms. Warner held executive positions in manufacturing, engineering and human resources over a 20-year span at General Motors Corporation. Ms. Warner received a B.A. and an M.A. from Michigan State University. She received an M.B.A. from Stanford University where she was a Sloan Fellow. Ms. Warner is a board member of MeadWestvaco Corporation, where she is a member of the Audit Committee and chairs the Safety, Health and Environmental Committee. She is a Trustee for John G. Shedd Aquarium.
