Martin Gruber

Mr. Martin J. Gruber is Independent Chairman of the Board of Thai Capital Fund, Inc. He has served as a board member, Audit Committee member and Nominating and Compensation Committee member since 2000. His relevant experience includes various academic positions, including his current appointment as Professor Emeritus and Scholar in Residence at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, with research focuses in portfolio theory and management and fund structure and performance. Mr. Gruber also received a PhD in Finance and Economics from Columbia University in 1966. He is Professor Emeritus and Scholar in Residence, Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, since 2010; previously Professor of Finance, from 1965 to 2010.
